Such good customer service! I bought towels 6 months ago for a bathroom remodel. We finished the remodel and I didnt like the color of the towels anymore. They let me return the towels and even made sure I used a coupon for the new ones!

Unfortunately Pennys is disappearing. I like shopping there. They have quality merchandise at reasonable prices. They helped me find what I wanted. Good experience.

They were sooooo helpful when I needed to buy a specific outfit for my new job.... literally one hour before I started working. I came back the following week and bought my son a new chain for his bday. The lady was helpful and kind as well. Definitely worth checking out.

Inside the store is nice, but only one fitting room for kids to try on clothes and its in the opposite end from the kids section. I get covid and everything but with back to school and parents trying to get clothes for kids maybe open the kids fitting rooms for a week or two.

Great sales on work and dress pants. Finally you can try on clothes. Just go to boys section to try them on. Staff was great and awesome sense of humor. Great shopping day. Especially for a guy.

Lady asked if I wanted to apply for a card i said no 5 times.. when she finally gave me my total she looked at the next person in line and said wow, this guy could have saved almost 50 bucks and said no...

Service was great.. got hair cut Michelle was great.. Im a little that its been almost 1 year that the ac stopped working.. and its still not working.. which means no ac no ventilation... not good .. when the chemicals I can only hope more people complain about it... its very important to have air circulation.. its hard to breath ... please help and get theac working... I dont see how the hair dressers can work in that environment.. much less having there clients in there..

I spoke to a couple of employees one spoke over me not letting me finish. The return cashier was too chatty with her guest after the transaction was complete as the line got longer. Another floor clerk never acknowledged me as I searched through clearance. A happy medium is needed! The level of stock appeared low.

Stated that the debit card machine not sanitized and the old man got offended. He had sassy answer and sanitized it. This is a pandemic it is not over yet. Dont get offended just be proactive. Its not personal its just a statement.

Its been atleast, maybe 6months to a year since my last in person visit to JCPENNEYs anchor store at the Volusia Mall. I was shocked by the Malls overall decline. But grateful JCPENNEY was still there. Its particularly difficult to see one of my most favorite shopping sites almost bare. Although, I understand why. The migration to the OUTLET Mall location has killed this location. But once inside the store, old love was rekindled & aflame yet again. It was as usually expected: an easy flow, nice display coordination, adequate stock and selection choices, and bright, clean, & pristine overall, although missing the normal busy flow of eager customers. My favorite name brands were present & accounted for....much to my financial budgets dismay. BUT MY BEST FRIEND......THE CLEARANCE SALE SECTION AGAIN CAME TO MY RESCUE. ALTHOUGH I DID PURCHASE 3 NON CLEARANCE SALE, MUST HAVE ITEMS amongst my stuffed 3 bag haul. I spent $180 for $498 worth of merchandise. It was a great haul for me. Although, I had to leave 6 items behind. There was no wiggle room in my monthly nor quarterly budget for the must haves.Its disheartening, BUT YET AGAIN the convenience of the internet intrudes and destroys brick and mortar again. The very small visible staff were alert, pleasant, attentive, and seemingly eager to please. THERE WERE ONLY 4 persons on the entire sales floor excluding the OPTICAL STORE. This decline in brick & mortar stores hurts my soul. I need to see the fabric quality, and true design & construction, and true color quality before purchase to ensure its to my needs and very finicky taste and desire. I am truly going to miss my J.C.Penny retail store.....the same as I miss, Burdines, Ivys, Freschotts and Sears. 😣🤕THANKS, MY DEAR VOLUSIA MALL J.C.PENNY, FOR OUR PLEASURABLE DECADES LONG SALES, FAITHFUL LOVE AFFAIR🙂🧡💜💙💞💞

I’m not sure on who is organizing the response to COVID-19 but this person needs to be seriously re-evaluated along with your plan to protect customers. I shopped at your store yesterday and I am horrified at the practices your store is employing. I see three major issues:First - reducing the amount of entrances/exits into the store. You are literally corralling customers into a single entry/exit point which results in more person to person contact (hello virus!) which completely defeats the purpose of trying to “socially distance.”Second - closing several dressing rooms reducing the amount of dressing rooms to a singular area with only two open rooms. Again, you are literally corralling customers (some of whom may be infected) into even more person to person contact and then making those people use the same changing rooms. They’re not even being cleaned in between use by people, I cannot see any reason for this at all. This is awful, what are you thinking!?Third - reducing the amount of check outs (in the whole store) to two registers at one location. You are again forcing people to have person to person contact by making them wait in line together. We’re supposed to be spread out, not being forced together.Reducing contact with other people and contaminated contact points is the only real defense to the spread of any virus.If there was how to guide on how to increase person to person contact and increase the spread of the virus they would call it the “JCPenney Model.”

I came here with a friend to go shopping for my b day and x mas shopping at first I was like OMG the prices that I saw on Levi jeans ... I CANT see spending that kind of $ on 1 pair of pants!Then i saw the clearance area!! Holy AMAZING!!! The prices are fantastic! I would suggest try on b4 you buy as all sales are final but its worth it. I got 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pair of the workout leggings, a tank top, 2 sports bras, 2 long sleeve cardigans for $128.00! I also got my hair cut at the salon inside Pennys for $22 the lady was great. I highly recommend JC Pennys

Today was a very disappointing trip to return something I didnt order, and when I asked what happened to what I ordered it disappeared. Had to reorder, and not the original colors because they had sold out on size and color of the ones I originally ordered. The warehouse mixed up the orders, now I have to do more running around to fix what I thought was a simple order. Over an hour in store trying to fix problem to find out Im getting charged for this order until I bring it back to UPS to ship back. And I would have given no stars for todays order

Name brands at normal prices that can be afforded.Not all of this certain jcpenney is great... but thats a personal experience and that dressing room witch can stick her size 12 pants up her nostrils! :^)
