Awesome place with great prices! Helpful staff. Bought my first pair of transition lenses there and they work really well

I used to go to Walmart for my contacts. I wont go back. I love Daytona Eye Center.

Terrible terrible customer service. If you call expect them to put you on hold for any little thing I wasted my whole lunch break on hold and I was only calling to see if my glasses were ready for pick up. You make an appointment and still have to wait. I’m going somewhere else the next time I need eye services I can’t take this anymore.

I’ve call this office three separated... to schedule an appointment, to reschedule the appointment, and to confirm the appointment. All three times the staff that answers the phone is rude and acts like they can’t be bothered. When I called the third time to confirm my appointment I was told I would receive a call back so they could let me know how much I would owe for my appointment. They never called me back. I went to the appointment and they refused to see me because I had my baby with me... if you’re not paying for my child care you shouldn’t be able to dictate if I can have my child with me or not...

I want to thank the friendly staff of Dr. Broomes office. They helped me with a contact problem I was having while on vacation in Daytona Beach. If they help strangers, I can only imagine how great they would be with local residents. Thanks again!

I picked out my glasses and wanted transition lenses along with blue light. When I picked up my glasses and went outside and they did not get darker. I asked why and they said. Oh you cant have transition and blue light. So why wasnt I told this when I ordered my glasses? Should the person that was taken my order at least known this? I will never go back there again.

I don’t understand why the respresentatives have to be so darn rude and harsh while talking to patients when you call they run off at the mouth and place you on long periods of hold times. No customer service skills or mannerisms none none none whatsoever ever sad to say. Then you experience the office manager do the same this rudely answer the phone Daytona eye!!! Please hold. Wow they have online training in quality assurance and customer service

All staff was courteous and helpful. Coco the Doctors assistant was especially friendly as she guided me through the tests. The wait was a bit long to get into my appointment as they seem to be a very busy office. I waited in my car and they happily called me in when my turn came. Thank you all for your help.

They call /text you to let you know that your glasses are ready then you have yo sit & wait to get them. Horrible system here...who has time to just wait

I’ve been coming to Daytona Eye Center for more than 10 years now and I always have a great experience. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. They make me feel important and remember me even when only meeting once. I especially enjoy Debbie at the front desk :-). Dr. Kevin is thorough and answers any questions I have patiently. He is personable and approachable. I love coming to Daytona Eye Center :-))

The staff there is the most incompetent people I have ever met, made many mistakes called me a number of time to change the appointment, gave them the insurance card to make the appointment waited a month and a half when I get there they I was told they didnt accept my insurance. Also denied mostly everything even proved it to them on the phone. I just feel bad for the doctor has to put up with all that incompetence and thats why there is no one ever in that office

Dr. Kevin Broome is awesome. Spent extra time with me and did an extremely thorough eye exam. Answered all my questions. Sam helped me select the right options for new glasses. She is great! The building is old, the waiting and fitting area are dated, and it is a busy high volume optical place. Called backed to check on new glasses and Melissa put me on hold twice, once for 5+ minutes, the next time for 7+ minutes. Will call back a third time now. 5 star to the doctor, 4 star to Sam, and 2 star to the rest of it all.

I have been coming to Daytona Eye Center for 10 years! I have always had great service here! Everyone is very polite, helpful and personal. Ruthie is very sweet & professional. Nate was very helpful to help explain contact options. Of course The Dr. was very nice and cared a lot about my eyes. I would definitely recommend Daytona Eye Center.

With the exception of a relatively long waiting period, I have all good to report regarding my experience. Dr. BRUME was very thorough and helpful. He has a very cfriendly demeanor. Also patient. Next I was seen by Mary Clare,who couldnt have been nicer or more knowledgeable Mary Claire was a pleasure to do business with!

I absolutely love Daytona Eye Center. I have been a client since 1991. The staff is wonderful. Personal attention is premium. I look forward my annual eye exam!!!! I strongly recommend this facility to anyone needing vision care. The front desk is staffed by Debbie, she knows her job with her eyes closed. The doctors are top notch and the technician Koko is the bees knees!!! She is my personal consultant and favorite employee. I make sure that she is there when I go!!! I can’t forget Lori in contacts! She is fantastic too.

All the girls behind the desk were helpful and very friendly, the girls I encounter were eager to help you when I had a question. The store was very busy and I waited patiently to see the doctor. When it came time to pick out my frames and order my new glasses, I chose Mary Clair to help me and she was great at helping me pick the right frames for my Price range. THANKS AGAIN MARY CLAIR.

I have been going to Daytona Eye Center for 20 plus years. They are great with giving the customer wonderful service with consistency. The staff are great and helpful with your needs. If you need glasses I suggest to go there and get them I have been to Lens Crafters and other places and they are so much better then the other. Great Place to go for the price as well it’s affordable . So Go There!

I scheduled an appointment for Saturday, Aug. 22, at 9 AM (when they opened) to get there and be told that I didnt have an appointment. The receptionist offered to reschedule me in Sept. 14. I explained to her that I was a teacher and would be working. There was no remorse for their mistake. There was a new patient, with her daughter, that offered to give me her 9:15 appointment, but I didnt want to take the daughters appointment. The staff there are awful as far as customer service. The only reason I am there is because Dr. Broome is AWESOME. He needs a new staff. Debbie was great at getting me a sooner date for the following Tuesdat, but I should have been seen today, my appointment date and time...smh.

The service given was amazing at Daytona Eye Center! I needed to have glasses made the day of order for work related reasons. Dan, the Lab Manager made sure that was possible and I had my new glasses made and given to me in the same day! It was very much appreciated!

Brought my 7 yr old for her first eye appointment, she was seen by Dr Kevin who was great! Fast and efficient. Tonya, Ruthie, and Brenda were amazing with her and we found the cutest pair of glasses! Such a good experience, it will be easy to get her to the eye doc in the future!

I called at 9 am and was seen by the doctor less than an hour later on the same day. Dr. Kevin and his staff were very friendly and helpful — this is my first pair of glasses so I required a bit more information. I only wish they had a same day glasses option. Still, I give them five stars. Great staff, service and pricing (my insurance doesn’t cover vision).

Based on a referral from a co-worker, I made 3 appointments (2:30,2:45 and 3pm) for myself and my children as new patients. Got there at 2pm, filled out insurance paperwork and by 3:30 still waiting to be seen. With 2 doctors on staff, they had taken several patients before us and kept telling me we were next. Another lady was there with her 3 kids and I heard one staff lady tell her how they will squeeze in her 3rd child even though his/her appointment wasnt until the following day and they were called in right away. After several other patients who clearly had appointments after us were seen before us, I decided to take my business elsewhere. They do take care of existing patients, but new patients are certainly at the bottom of the barrel.

Evry time Ive been in this place. Its been just wonderful. Friendly people Great service all around. Makes you feel very special. I love it.

Best eye center, Nate, Mary Claire and Debbie and front check in all great. Will only come here for my eye care. Dr. Broome is pretty awesome too.

My husband went to Daytona Eye Center today as a walk in patient. From start to finish he had the best eye appointment ever. Connie at the front desk promptly got all of his insurance information and explained his benefit so he understood what was covered and what was his responsibility. She let him know it could be a one and a half hour wait. In less than 45 minutes Tanya the eye technician completed all of his preliminary tests. Dr Ron completed his eye exam and in the process they became friends. Ruthie helped my husband select frames and helped us understand the options our insurance covered. She was patient, helpful and made it a fun and educational experience. We highly recommend Daytona Eye Center for Easy access to care, overall competence with insurance, great customer service and a warm caring environment. Thanks to all who helped my husband today!

Have been getting my exam and glasses here for years and always satisfied with the service! Staff is professional and helpful! The Doctors are very professional, kind and knowledgeable! Walked in today and was out within an hour! Mary Claire and the Doctor were awesome!

Was told walk-ins are welcomed but then told I couldnt use my insurance. Long story short, they gave me an appointment time and still wouldnt accept my insurance I ended up paying $214 out of pocket.I was told 3 different prices. I am contacting my insurance company for credit due! Ive been going to this office off and on for over 20 years, never again. Ill go elsewhere for my contacts that will use my insurance. I dont have insurance to pay out of pocket. Extremely upset! Of course they dont recall it but if you look on my chart, youll see an appointment time! One thing I cant tolerate is deceitful people to cover their butts. My insurance works with you which is why I came there plus Ive been coming there for 20+ years and never had a problem.

Have been a customer over 12years . Every visit has been excellent. Met over a year ago and he is just a joy to see everytime I visit. He appears to be a remarkably young man with a professional attitude. Always answers my questions.Overall the staff is good too.

I live in Maine and I got a pair of glasses at one of the places up here I was not satisfied I went back they did it again they were still wrong I went back and I said that’s enough I have been going to Daytona eyes ever sence I have never had a problem with my glasses.

Yesterday was my first time going here .I was only waiting 10 minutes before I was seen and I was a walk in . They were nice and very clear about everything they did .I recommend them and I will be going back the staff is great and they were busy but still fit me in .I dont have insurance .and there exam fee was fair .

Excellent professionals. Dr. Broome was very attentive to my mom’s situation, and the rest of the team delightful. All the equipment is there, no need to go elsewhere. It took us a week or so to get her prescription glasses.

This place is sooooooo much better then America’s best.. They are very hands on and actually make sure u understand everything about what u are here for. They wouldn’t let me leave without putting in my contacts and taking them out and making sure I was comfortable doing it... Koko made my appointment and was there for me every step of the way.. Mary Clair made sure I was oh so very happy also.. there will be no other place ... my new vision home...

Worst experience at an eye care place. First of all Dr. Didnt wash his hands upon arrival of my exam. Second the staff is very lazy and most have bad attitudes. I asked to have a new nose piece put on my old glasses and because the old nose piece was dirty from wearing them and sweating at my job, not one of the three woman wanted to touch them. I found this very unprofessional. One of them finally took them and brought them in the back room and had someone else change the nose piece. They no longer have my business.

Unprofessional team working at the Ormond Beach office. Was rushed and was told to pay $$ for my annual eye check up, which is covered by insurance. After being rushed through checking my eyes, they took their time in hustling me to buy into their expensive frames and glasses, which were subpar at best. Worst eye visit in my 39+ years

They Never call back,hang up on you,every single time they make you feel like you bother their nap...rolling eyes and all..there is a young lady who answers phones named jada (jeda?) That I am about to report after todays e experience!!! Rude,unprofessional, shame....DO NOT go there!

My husband had appointments and were greeted by the receptionist and Kiki in a very friendly and courteous manner. I was helped by Ruthir in picking out some glasses. She was extremely helpful in knowing my insurance plan and it’s coverage. Ruthie also assisted in choosing an attractive pair of glasses and sharing with me the difference between a tinted glass and polarize type. We will continue coming to Daytona Eye Center for excellent and friendly service.

The staff was very helpful and Kim was especially kind working with my dad. And Dr. Kevin diagnosed my dad’s glaucoma early enough that he was treated successfully without surgery!

I ordered glasses 18 days ago. 16 business days have past. They were supposed to be ready in 10 business days. Called them 3 days in a row. They will not let me know anything about when or where my glasses are. Puts u on hold, doesnt return calls. I purchased flimsy glasses with progressive trifocal transition sunglasses..1 pair of flimsy glasses cost 600.00

I had a great experience today for my annual I was greeted by Jada and Connie who were very courteous. I was fitted by Koko who was also excellent and very prompt. Met with Dr. Deputy who was humerous and kind. I give this place 0 to 100% rating and would recommend anyone.

I’ve been coming to Daytona Eye Center since 2001. I still drive all the way here even though I moved out of the county years ago. Yvonne at the front desk is a trooper, handling everyone as they walk in and doing it with a smile. Nate is awesome, taking me through the full battery of pre-exam tests in no time. Lori has been taking care of my contacts needs for ages and Ruthie makes getting fitted for glasses a breeze. Thank you, DEC, for keeping my eyes healthy!

Ive been coming to see Dr. Broome and company for 25 years, first in Lake Butler in 1994, then Lake City and in Daytona Beach since 2000. They treat everyone in the highest regard and help their patients maintain good healthy vision. I think Ill keep coming here for my eye care.

Great experience! Dr. Kevin Broome was friendly respectful and listened to my concerns. They were very respectful of my time. They were also affordable and helped me stay within my budget. They had an awesome variety of frames and Ruthie who fitted my glasses was very informative and knew her stuff when it came to frames and add ons. Ruthie was also very helpful picking out my frames. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I was looking for a place to get an eye exam and contact lenses. I walked into this place. Wow. Big mistake. The lady who greeted me had a look like Oh no. She just looked tired and frustrated. After she got some info she told another lady to help me. That one was worse. Rude. Do the eye doctors know about their office staff? Ive seen the other reviews. So I left and went up the street to Blahnik Eye Care. What a difference! I received a friendly greeting. When I went a week later for eye exam everyone was wonderful. Even offered me coffee. Very nice.

Theyre always so kind and take their time with each patient. And this is the only eye center Ive gone to in my entire life... so.. I know what Im talking about! :)
