Dave is great. Friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite dive shop in the area. I got my last boots, find, snorkel and other things from Atlantic and have had tanks and regulators checked and fixed, when needed. They always do a great job.

Very friendly store! Owner will make a deal depending on how much you buy. Likely that he will barter. Sadly no good ocean diving here. Store is thoroughly stocked with all diving gear.

Fantastic owner/manager. He can get just about anything you need in to the store. I recommend you bring in and pay with cash. Prices are negotiable but are very good.

Great place with a little bit of everything, new and used. Dave is very knowledgeable and friendly. It is obvious that he cares about his customers and wont just sell you stuff to make money. He has helped me with all of my gear, even when i didnt buy it from him originally. Also helped with gear bought from a other local shop that they had not properly serviced and lied about just to make a buck.

Bought my first gear there like 35 years ago. Been there twice this week, this is the man to go see.

This is easily the worst run business Ive ever come across. The prices are nice, thats for sure, but thats because Dave basically makes up his prices as he goes and gives discounts if you do favors for him. Case in point, he once offered me a 10 year old regulator assembly for $200. I can pay that much for a new high end regulator. Hes also extremely forgetful and doesnt seem to understand how to replace items he says he will. I purchased a mask that was very poorly made almost two months ago. Within two days I had returned it with his guarantee that he would replace it. Nearly two months later, he still has the mask I initially bought, the money I paid for it, and has yet to order the replacement mask I said I wanted.Then theres the certification classes. I tagged along on the open water dives and was extremely disappointed in what I saw. The instructor skipped having the students do many skills underwater that are essential for diving, and the final dive went to a depth of maybe 10 feet. I get that the springs are where instructors like to go, but the ocean is literally right there, do actual open water dives and take the students to a depth of 45 feet or so, so they can experience what its going to be like at the depth theyre certified for. Thats what the certification dives are for.

The owner Dave is great guy. They’re prices are reasonable and their service is all about the customer. Dave takes time to explain even the small details of gear.

We love Atlantic Scuba. We visit Daytona Beach once a year and Dave (the owner) is always very conscientious and does his level best to make sure we have a good experience diving and snorkeling in the area around central Florida. When unforeseen circumstances have gotten in the way, he has been flexible and fair regarding rental equipment and his retail prices are the best in the area. The shop has a warm, family feeling to it and I always feel I am in good hands when I am dealing with Dave.

We had a great experience at Atlantic Scuba. Bought 8 tanks and had them filled with varying mixes of nitrox. Diver Dave, the owner, is super knowledgeable and helpful. He even stayed with us in the shop until almost 11pm on the day before we left on our trip to make sure we had everything we needed! He gave us a spare set of o-rings for no extra charge and it actually ended up saving us a day’s worth of diving when an SPG o-ring blew in Bonaire. Always carry spare o-rings....In addition, the prices were fair and Dave has no shortage of highly entertaining stories, opinions, and advice relating to everything diving from his years of being in the industry. It also seemed that beyond just being a dive shop Atlantic Scuba serves as the informal social center for the local dive community.Support your LDS! Came in for booties; walked out with those and new-used fins. Those fins came with old straps and the owner patiently went through several different ways to put new straps on - eating into his evening at the end of the day! Great service.Store can feel chaotic with all the scuba gear everywhere but it didnt bother me.

My husband and I visited Daytona in mid December. Sadly the conditions were not great for doing a dive in the Atlantic. The staff at Atlantic Scuba were very helpful in directing us towards an activity that would give us a wonderful experience. Even though we didnt get to dive with these guys I can vouch that they have wonderful customer service! Thank you for all the help! If we ever come back during a time with favorable conditions we will call you to set up a dive!

Bad shop

Dave, the owner, is a hard working guy, very personable, and is very customer oriented. One of the few dive shops that can accurately repair vintage regulators. Nitrox, air and supplies. Atlantic Scuba is where I go for all my diving needs for 21 years now.

For making me, a novice diver, feel comfortable asking how to do things. Whatever you need to know

I paid 460+$ for a 1 on 1 that was to be scheduled as soon as possible. Finally, a week after finishing the online PADI Elearn, I got the confined and open water dives scheduled.. I was told to be at the shop at No Later Than 0830 (the prior military in me had me there at 8am sharp ready to go.) 845? No instructor, doors locked, 3 people in the parking lot also diving with us that day (so no 1 on 1). I had to keep texting Scuba Dave reminding him that he hadnt given me a date or time until the very last minute. Mind you...this is the man I just paid almost 500$ USD to teach me how to survive underwater...and he cant even make it to work on time.**Update**I was over all very unhappy with the course. There are a number of touristy local dive shops I could have went to and overpaid for questionable instruction. At least I would have been diving somewhere worth seeing.. Made it even worse when we had to drive up there a 3rd day (45min away) to dive for 15 minuets in the same bowl just to call that our open water dive. You sold me a 1 on 1 instruction at 2xs the price..then threw 2 other people in the class and you wonder why Im not happy?
