Excellent experience. I bought an old ford explorer here. And its an amazing vehicle. If youre looking for a good used vehicle, this is a great place to start. Thanks Tom !
I highly recommend ShamrockThey got me up and running. No hassles Great customer service
I brought my buick encore in for repair. They had my car for 4 weeks & kept saying sorry we are busy we havent looked at it. Then when I finally got my car he says its a common issue in these cars that you just tap on your fuses -_- seriously poor quality for sure. Had a warranty and everything that would of paid for this. Obviously the mechanic didnt want to do his job because an actual buick dealership has had my car for 3 days now and is fixing the problem right away and actually calling my warranty for me.
Very friendly service and a great job overall. What I most appreciated was that Scotty worked really hard to find me parts at a much better deal than the dealership originally wanted to charge him, and ended up saving me over $600! When I picked up my car and thanked him he told me that he doesnt like to spend other peoples money, which is such an appreciated mentality. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back for any future repair work I need done.
Alwayz great service, by Mr Scotty & Mr Tom.
These guys are great. Affordable, friendly, professional and fast. This was my first visit but definitely wont be the last!
Very friendly and fixed my car very quickly! I will be using them for all my car needs in the future!
I took my truck to have a brake line replaced. I already knew where the leak was and what line needed to be replaced. I have worked in mechanics and went to school for mechanics in 2011 I simply just didnt have the time and couldnt deal with it myself.I called one time while they had my vehicle and the man I talked to told me they had to see if the line above the tank was leaking before they would know what they needed to do exactly.I didnt think anything of it I knew there was nothing leaking there so I figured they would realize that and just need to fix the one line. Well I never heard from anyone again. Over a week later (theyve had my truck for almost 3 weeks now)I decide to go in and see what the deal is and Im handed a bill for $800.00. no one approved of this work and I never signed anything. When I brought this fact up with what seemed to be the owner(the older gentleman behind the counter) he got aggressive with me in his tone of voice and all professionalism went out the window. At one point he admitted that the fault lies with him and his mechanics via miscommunication. But then quickly shifts things on me.I even told him Id give him $300 for his time. Parts were $120 and $180 so hes not at a complete loss with his employees. He refused.Demanded that I pay no less than $550 dollars or I wouldnt get my truck. So I mentioned a lawyer and he got real uneasy.I managed to be able to get my truck back. Thank the Lord. Without an attorney... (They spent even more time and money) to remove the parts that they put on my truck.Im stuck with a truck with no rear brake lines and they even removed my bleeder screws on the calipers and did not leave anything in them. Now my system is open and exposed to the elements and this man had absolutely ZERO sympathy or regards to me. The customer who was completely being screwed over and taken advantage of.I cant believe how I was treated. He through the fault completely at me when he knew it was on them. It has completely discouraged me from taking a vehicle in anywhere ever again.
Ive been there twice and they did a great job on my car. They had my car fixed promptly both times.
Great place to get car service.
After 6 weeks of having my car... Get it back for it not to be fixed.. take it back two more weeks. Get it back again problems still not solved..I ended up just taking it somewhere else and they figured it out the problem in one day and had it fixed. Called and asked for some kind of refund. And he refused to do anything I even offered to pay for the part they put in but wanting some kind of money back for something they didnt even fix please take your car somewhere else Ill hold it hostage forever
To preface how great this shop is, I once had my brake lines repaired and they called me when it was done to inform me it was $25 cheaper than what they estimated me. How many repair shops have you heard giving a customer money back that they were already willing to spend???From repairing my transmission line on my first car (1992 Oldsmobile), to installing new brake rotors/pads on my current vehicle (2011 Ford Escape) at below market average, Shamrock has always been fast at repairs, honest with pricing and familial in how they treat their customers.Oh and for any animal lovers they have a friendly shop cat!
Bought a Volvo from them. Peder and Tom were very nice. The car was amazing and I loved it. Too bad a drunk driver totaled it
Honest.
If they cant fix it nobody can, Took my car to three other shops where all they did was change parts and give me a bill. Took it to shamrock (yes they had it a while) but they figured the issue out that nobody else could and the price was VERY fair. Shamrock is my go to shop even though its a bit of a drive for me....a good honest mechanic is hard to find.
Very good and clean work. They explained to me what was wrong with my vehicle and gave me a few options to go about repairing it. Very professional.
I took my Cadillac on October 14, 2017 for a technical problem we waited and waited and 5 months went by...nothing. Finally on March 9th, 2018, after repeated calls I was given a estimate ($710). Mind you, I havent heard from this place for 5 months. The topper...the work they did do was next to nothing. A new battery was put in ( one that was recently told to me was dead and not a new battery at all) and the electical problem I took the car in to fix wasnt. They still charged me $100 for their renting of my vehicle for 5 months, money I will get back after I call a local news Network to plead my case. I have since contacted the BBB and will continue to do what I need to do to get action. And I will get it. Horrible business practice. I have no idea how this place is still open.
I was highly knowledgeable about know what happened to my car. The serpentine broke and i get a call 2 days later.. 730 for a new water pump pully, fuel pump, and belt..roads under construction at the time...tried towing it to a reasonable place...couldnt charged a storage fee...finally got the car out to k and s auto on michigan ave... He said they took the fuse out so they can charge 300 plus to my wife. Shame rock auto said they ran a diagnostic on the car but all fuses have to work for a diagnostic so he didnt make a mistake...he was trying to rip my wife off. Glad i know about cars a little.
Great work at a great price.
