Hands down the BEST kabobs I’ve had! I tried one of each thing on the menu and all of them were amazing! Again, the hospitality at this place was sooooo great!!! I can’t wait t come back!

DMM is a very small restuarant specialized in fresh meat barbecue Lebanese style (lehim mishwee). Eggplant dip (Baba ghanooj) & salad (onions, rukka, sumac, lemon juice) are served with off the grill barbecued meat along Pita bread. Kefta, Liver, kidney & others are also available. All in all a delicious meal to enjoy.

We liked this place a lot and cannot disagree with all the great reviews regarding the food and taste. One thing that was disappointing is that you can order only once if youre eating in. We were newbies here, so we ordered one meat skewer each and it was so good that we were craving for more. We asked if we can go near the cashier and order one more skewer. The chef was strict and told us we couldnt order more for eating in and that itll have to be a take out. We were a little surprised. Thats why Im knocking off a star. Otherwise, a great hole in the wall place.

Hidden gem with great skewers, baba ganoush, hummus and salad. The charcoal grill gives a nice smokey flavor to the vegetables (and peppers) served as sides. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Very good place to get fresh BBQ meat and chicken. place is clean, staff work hard to keep up. it gets very busy at lunch time, with limited space and tables expect waiting. the part i dont like based on my experience, you are rushed to eat and leave. so some one is watching you eat, with the last bite the empty dish is immediately taken. basically time to leave. when I am having a good meal I dont like to be rushed.

The place is small and simple, but their food is as fresh and as flavorful as it gets. I’m in a low meat regimen but when I have a cheat day, Meat Market is definitely one of the top options

Outstanding prices and outstanding food. The portions are great notably with the amount of bread they give. So glad I got to try my first beef heart at a place like this -- cant wait to come back and try every other skewer on the menu.

Walked in to try Dearborn Meat Market after reading a lot of positive reviews. I was so excited! The first thing that I noticed was that some of the staff were wearing masks while others were not. Also, the customer in front of me did not have a mask on. A staff member sitting right in the front window of the store did not have a mask on. The meat looked great but unfortunately with the pandemic going on, I cannot take the risk!

The food really is excellent. The staff is very friendly. Of course its not a fancy place by any means but the food and service make up for that for sure. Shish Tawook seasoning is the best anywhere. Priced by the skewer at a very fair price. They know exactly how to cook it so even chicken breast isnt dried out like other places. Keep up the great work!

A quality Butcher Shop with a small dining area in the back, if you come for lunch get here early, lines do tend to get long but there is a reason! The beef Tartare is made fresh ole skool way(yep thatll be with two knives doing a fine dance as the Butcher welds them like a Pro he is, beside its fun to watch!). On to the entrees they have beef skewers, sausage, chicken, marinated beef, hummus, tabouli salad etc. as your side choices for a fee. Now on to the meat, it gets cooked in the dining area on top of open coals, youre asked the degree of doneness someone set you up at a table(while your food is being cooked go grab something to drink, if you ordered the Tartare youre going to need it! Tartare comes with a side of sliced jalapenos). Sit down and start enjoying, every table get pita bread(Arabic style) and all grilled meats come with a coal grilled onion and a tomato. Come by and say Hello, have a quick tasty meal and go about your buisness! Love the efficiency this place has! Please remember this a no frills type of place but the Quality of the meats stand out!

The best naan and garlic spread along with a cozy spot to sit right next to the grillmaster while you sip a coke. Super awesome place. Cant wait to go back. I have bought raw meat from this market to cook at home, the meat tastes SO BAD, and doesnt look fresh at all. Additionally, I have been having severe diarrhea just after eating their meat. I am very dissapointed with you being NOT CLEAN with such an over price you are setting. I advise everyone to consider their health & safety before purchasing meat from this place!!!

People do not wear any mask whatsoever. Family comes in from outside with nasty outside clothes touching food. The shish kabobs are very very small. Very overly priced. The Parsley salad was the worst salad I ever had in my life. I dont see what is the big deal about this this will be my first and last visit.and everybody who visits this place I pray for you that you do not catch covid-19.For some reason people in Dearborn think they cannot catch it. When covid-19 is raising in Dearborn like crazy. 😒😒😒

I had the chance of meeting both the owner and his son, they are both kind-hearted and one of the most respectful people you will ever meet. They took care of my needs and made sure I walked out with the best food. I got 4 skewers of meat, 2 kafta, and 2 shish tawook. They were the best I’ve ever had and they grilled them fresh for you too. I can’t wait to come back for more meat 🥩.

I usually dont leave a negative review however Dearborn Meat Market staff/owner surprised me on this visit. I went after a while and the Taste, Quantity and Customer Service has declined drastically 👎 . Beef Kafta were small, Hummus had no tahini and when I told them this is the reaction I got 🤷🏽‍♂️. Used to Love their food and ambiance, used to tell other people too but unfortunately not again.

I had my sights on this place after it was introduced in a Eater video. The place to dine in is small, but if you have the chance, do it. It is a legit halal butcher shop. You order the cuts of meat, already in sticks. Then in the back, they have an ongoing charcoal fire to cook the meat. They also have onion, tomato, and peppers. Overall a great experience and would visit them again when I am in town.

DMM is the best place to eat fresh meat at and honestly no other meat market can beat or compare to their service.

It is a lost little place at Dearborn. It is simple and with a very friendly staff. The food is amazingly tasty and fresh. We tried all the kabobs, chicken, kafta, beef, liver, and heart. We liked all of them... will come back for sure.

Most unique eatery that can’t be described in words but must experience it firsthand in person to understand. What looks simple to the customers eyes is all years of perfection to enjoying a perfect freshest meal possible straight off the butchers table to a real barbecue grill and to top it off it’s all cooked on a coal/wood grill which makes the taste phenomenal. No matter where you live in this world, I’d highly suggest eating at Dearborn Meat Market part of your bucket list!!!

Absolutely great food! The menu is simple, the prices are incredible and the taste is unsurpassed! The owner and his staff are incredibly welcoming people, they care about their food and they want you to feel at home! The place is small and you may have to wait, but it is absolutely worth it! You will not regret eating here and you will be back!

Great place to grab a quick healthy meal. Beef kabob, chicken kabob, kafta, and other grill favorites. Only 2.50 a skewer which includes bread, grilled onion and tomatoe on the side, cooked over a stone grill right in front of you any way you request it. Place your order at the front butcher station where there is a glass display of the meats of choice. Place is small so I would not recommend for a large group. Clean and courteous staff. Will be back.
