The hydro giant location in Dearborn on Ford road have completely rude and unknowledgeable and unprofessional staff and customer service.

The Dearborn hydro giant is a small store compared to the Detroit and West Bloomfield locations, and dont carry the quantities or products as the 2 larger stores. That being said its a great place to run up to grab a thing or two during a project, and the staff there is super Kool as well as very knowledgeable, I always end up getting into a great conversation with them every time I go there. If your looking for a larger re- up on supplies or looking. For a specific brand or product best to call first

Stopped by on my way thru the city to pick up some supplies.Google says 12-5 on Sundays. Their door matches yet the doors are locked. First time trying hydro giant. Doesnt make a good impression, especially when theres so many other stores. You guys lost a $1500 sale today.Edit : they were all in the back garage laying on the product. What a great way to run a business

Love this place. The people are so knowledgeable about what I needed for a great outdoor grow. Its my number one spot to shop.

Got what I need most of the time if you want something specific I would call ahead before you go you just might waste your time and they always close early too so make sure youre there by 5:00 they say 6:00 but never stay open till 6:00

This place was the biggest disappointment ever with rude staff and over priced supplies.. they charge about %35 more for their merch and when you send someone who is very knowledgeable they tell them theirs a sale and drop the %35 price gouge to %15 ... while nice proper stores give discounts from prices thatvare already %35 percent lower.... please do not give these moron your money...

The Southgate location has completely rude and unknowledgeable staff. When I asked for help in getting nutrients for a hydroponic setup - Im not kidding - I got a blank stare and then, What do you need? (Hmm, I dont know, maybe thats why I asked for help) When I asked if they had liquid kelp I was told, no. Later, when I said are you sure you dont have liquid seaweed? Oh, yeah, we have that was the reply. ... Also, they did have liquid kelp in another aisle. So, they had bottles labeled liquid kelp and liquid seaweed but I was told they didnt have liquid kelp, nor was I offered liquid seaweed as an alternative (theyre the same thing).I think their brains are all fried on the weed. If you actually want to garden flowers and vegetables, skip the southgate location.
