People are great. Didnt have a lot of shad for bait. The ones that they did have didnt live long.

Great service, great food, and they have frozen and live bait, even by bulk if you need it. They also have tackle and good company. The man takes pride in offering his customers what they need. If he doesnt have it, hell get it.

Im pretty new to town and this is one of the places you want to go if you want to know the community. Jack works in the mornings and he makes AMAZING breakfast sandwiches. Their sandwiches at lunch are massive, you eat lunch there and you wont have to worry about dinner. I highly recommend the cajun turkey sandwich paired with cool ranch doritos, I order it every time and Im never disappointed.I still dont know a lot of the good fishing spots, but anytime I go in for live bait, Jack or one of the other guys talking in the store can tell me where I need to go. Theyve got a great selection of lures, weights, rods, and reels. Any kind of tackle you need or want to try out, this store has it and they have good advice to go along with it. They also do drawings for gear sometimes; thats something to watch for, too.Theres an active social circle that gathers in the morning, the guys in there are always friendly and welcoming. People from all walks of life come in and the conversation is never dull. If youre in town to work at Watts Bar Nuclear or youre new in town like me, I cant recommend this place enough because its the best way to get to know the area and youre likely to meet some of the higher ups from Watts Bar eating breakfast.Go see Jack in the morning, he was one of the first people I met after moving here and I cant think of a better introduction to the area. Hes got whatever it is that you need; be it breakfast, bait, tobacco, or just good conversation. I wish I could give this place more stars.

The store is in much need of a renovation and there selection of snacks is slim.... but they always have the bait I need and the biscuits and sandwiches are pretty good.

This area is convenient for what you need when youre on your way fishing or just passing through I enjoy because it has the old fashioned look that most people has already got rid of
