Buying a motorcycle from Allsport Powersports was a great buying experience. I saw a 2018 Yamaha FJR 1300 advertised in a Facebook FJR group for a great price. I began talking with Steve the owner about buying long distance.Everyone at Allsport powersports was warm and welcoming. Steve picked me up at the airport. Dawne assisted me with financing. Great to deal with. The people there are nice and go out of their way for customers. They are there to make money but do not over price products. I could have bought my purchase within 10 miles from home but I drove 125 miles just to buy from them.

One of the best dealers in Alabama. Purchased two dirt bikes from them and couldn’t be happier with each one. Other dealers I’ve used were very hard to deal with and hardly know what they are doing. I’m not sure how they sell anything. Bought a bike from them, had great service and no issues, but highly recommend you not buy the $500 maintenance plan, as its not transferable now nor reimbursable should something happen to your motorcycle, got ran over two weeks after I bought it. Lesson learned.

Watch out about buying used at this shop. I was buying a used bike from them under the impression it had been “babied.” I called ahead of time while I was on the way, as I live 4 hours from the shop. I let them know I was going to be arriving around 5:20, and verified that it was okay,(as they close at 6:00) and I would be good to pick up my bike. Once I got there, the owner (steve) told me to already go sign the papers before I had even seen the bike... (one of the first things he said, and he looked rushed to leave the shop) Still with the impression that this bike was everything he had told me. (OEM plastics, low hours, all receipts for modifications) I went ahead and went outside to check out the bike, and he had told me, “runs great we rode it right before you got here and warmed it up” When buying a used bike as a seller they likely started it up to cover up something. As well I thought I smelled starter fluid residue around the air box. When I asked him about it, he became offended at my very suspicion. Even while checking out the bike the owner had one of his workers that did not know anything about the bike or previous owner, stay with me if I had questions... The owner proceeded to leave before I could get more information on the bike. I had to then email him after purchasing to get more details that I originally should have been given. Overall felt very rushed to purchase, don’t think he sold me a bad bike. But after purchasing it was obvious he tried to hide things in the pictures he took originally. Not to mention the lady who dealt with my papers was very rude. I asked if she would like to use the envelop I brought my cash in to hold the cash, she smirked at me and sarcastically says, “Um I think I’m good, I don’t need your trash” when my intentions were just trying to be courteous. I was shocked by this shop, all of the reviews it has are great. Makes me believe they might filter their reviews online, I know the owner responds to them.

Super friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Never felt rushed even though i came in right before closing. Great prices, and even got a LED light bar for almost 60% off regular price. I tried searching all over the web and could not find it at a cheaper price. I am actually going back today to get a filter, and oil for my quad. They just made a life long customer out of me.

Ive been hanging around Allsport for several years now. They do all my maintenance - if theres a backlog, I can get on the list and bring my bike in later instead of leaving it for 2 weeks, which is a big deal for me. The people are nice and they have a good selection of new and used inventory. Theyve picked up several new lines of motorcycles in the last year, and are also carrying kayaks now, so theres always something new to see. They also run good sales on their merchandise regularly.

Real good and friendly people at Allsport. They are very knowledgeable and willing to help. I brought some tires to have put on my 700 grizzly and they were pretty backed up but managed to get me ready before they closed. Will always come back to Allsport. Thumbs up guys.

My experience with Allsport Powersports, Inc. in Decatur, AL was top notch. I was greeted right away by Jeff Carter, who was very friendly and helpful. I purchased 3 large bags of Charcoal for our Green Egg, and Jeff stated someone would help me load the charcoal into my vehicle. Great place to buy a new or used bike. EJ is a good honest salesman who does whats right for the buyer. Hes a long time rider who uses his experience to help buyers make the right choice for their needs. He worked with us to find the right bike for the wife who is not very tall. Gave excellent advice without trying to sell any particular model or even brand.

I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of service I received over the phone. I searched everywhere for a replacement speedometer cable for an 85 Honda elite scooter. Everyone I called gave me the generic this part is no longer made speech and just cut me off. I called Allsport Powersports and spoke with Jeff who was extremely helpful. While I may have got the same news about the part no longer being made the issue was not dropped there. Jeff assured me that he would do his best to find some form of replacement part and that he would call me back as soon as he could. Sure enough I received a call a few days later and was given several places that made custom cables that I could try. While he was unable to give me a direct replacement, Actual effort was given in the search and I was not just thrown aside like so many had done before. I will do business here again. Thanks Jeff

Some of the other reviews here are not fair. I have purchased a new motorcycle from Allsport, and also spent many dollars on parts, accessories, and gear. Steve, Dean, and the rest of the team are always very friendly, willing to chat, let you talk to the technicians, take test rides, and they have always been willing to negotiate off MSRP within reason. This is a good shop and a good team. Be friendly and they will be also. My guess is that the negative reviews are from people who entered the shop with attitudes, because the Allsport team is about as friendly and down-to-earth as they come.

I have never had a complaint about the work done by the Allsport shop and Ive been doing business with them for more than a decade. Excellent work at a more than fair and competitive price.

Over the years Ive bought three bikes, loads of farkle for the bikes and the occasional t-shirt or two from Steve and his crew. Ive used Allsport almost exclusively for maintenance and repair of my bikes. In no case have I ever been less than completely satisfied. None.But the best part of Allsport is that they always treat me like a friend, whether I am buying or not. There is no way you can enter Allsport and not be greeted, asked if assistance is needed and - whether it is or not - made to feel welcome.My next bike will definitely come from Allsport.

This is honestly the best Yamaha dealership I have been to and quite frankly the best dealer I have ever been to. I just moved from northern Illinois and from the minute I walked in, they made me feel like wasnt an outsider. I had the pleasure of dealing with Dean ( the general manager) and Ashley ( the service manager) . I had my 2016 fjr in for a few major services. They performed the services in a timely manner and for a fair price. They also offered to do some other things like spark pugs and brake pads for no labor cost because they were already going to be in those areas with the other jobs they were performing. When I came to pick up the bike it was cleaner then when I dropped it off and that was a first for me. These guys have earned my business for as long as Im in this area. They gave the deal they advertised. They had all the paperwork ready when we got there after driving six hundred miles. We were in and out quickly.

While shopping at Allsport, Dean could sense the hesitation in my voice while I was trying to decide. He actually told me not to buy anything right then and gave me some pamphlets to read over night. I decided on a bike that I knew they didnt have in stock and in searching for one at another dealer they added 1,500 dollars in hidden fees. I decided to go back to Dean and he went out, found me the dirt bike I was looking for, and he even beat MSRP. The only fee I had was the sales tax. At Allsport they care more about the thrill of the ride than the thrill of the sale.

I have been a customer of Allsport for many years. All the way from their early days as a Yamaha dealer on Old Moulton Road to the current multiple line dealership of today. Steve and his employees provide excellent results and competitive prices in both sales and repair/maintenance. I have found I can count on them to meet their commitments and highly recommend Allsport.

This place is excellent.I have an older model bike and have a hard time locating parts. They have always taken care of what I needed and prices are excellent. I have a Yamaha dealer 5 minutes from my house and I bypass it and drive from Cullman to Decatur to get parts. When I decide to buy a new one, this is where I will go based solely on service.

These guys do a great job, if I can’t find something they are more than welcome to help, but they do not hover around you when you are looking at buying something. They will greet you and introduce themselves and leave you to shop till they are needed. Another thing I like about this company is if they do not have something they will order it for you and call you when it gets in if it does not fit right they will do what they can to make it right.

I order over $500 worth of parts from them and after the parts come in late I get to the store at 5:30 when they close at 6:00 and as I am pulling in some of the employees are pulling out. Not to mention the one that was still in the store with the lights on and wouldnt come to the door or answer the phone. If you close at 5:30 change your sign and website. I drove from over 30mins now Im going to have to drive back to get the parts another day.

This shop has let me down more times the I care to admit. I was out riding today and my back tire went flat. I filled it up and headed straight to the only motorcycle shop in town. $200 to fix a flat. Okay its a motorcycle Im good with that, but no mechanics to fix it for another 2 hours? Oh well they have 2 but one is unloading jetskis and the other is moving products around so it will be at least 2 hours before they can do anything. Okay thats horriable customer service and an insult to motorcycle riders they let me ride off on a flat tire to unload jetskis.... they honestly dont care about the riders in the community and dont expect to be a staple shop for repairs and services. Please beware.P.S. in respond.1) your salesman said I have 2 tech here now one working on something in the back and one on the jet ski, it will be a hour before I can get one to fix your flat those where his words he didnt say anything about the 2 techs not being qualified to work on the bike so that was a miss communication. 2) 2 hours and $175 to fix a flat was way step. I was able to take it to another shop and was back on the road for $100 in less then 30 minutes. As far as the forward controls you didnt have them not an issue I have asked about services 2 times and was disappointed both times while I understand it was 12:30 when i walked in Im sorry I wasnt able to schedule my flat tire to fit your schedule it wasnt my choice to have a flat and the other shop understood that and was able to make arrangements to earn my business and my money. As for earning my business, unfortunately I do not see allsports ever doing that.

In the last 3 years I have bought 2 ATVs and 2 UTVs, I am avid rider and on average ride 3 weekends a month winter or summer. These guys are awesome to deal with, and they really stand behind what they sell. Service after the sell is wonderful, when you ride as much as I do stuff is going to break and they always go the extra mile to get me back up and going! Honest folks, friendly, and fair prices. This is the only place I shop for New Units, parts and accessories!

Most of my dealings at Allsport Inc. has been with Jeff Carter in the parts department. I have found Jeff to be a great resource of knowledge and advice on parts and add on pieces. I had wanted a FJR1300 for a long time but having Hondas most of my life I wasnt sure, the thing that made my mind up was Jeff being there to Allsport.
