Go to Perc...Waaay better! Staff has been trending ruder and ruder over the past few years. Clearly the owner doesnt teach them about customers being important. Place is dirty and the coffee is just so so. Thank God we have another option now.

Big fan of this coffee shop. Great music, gorgeous plants, and Keyia makes the best drinks. My personal favorite is the iced chai.

This was my first time and the coffee was amazing! Their Caramel Macchiato was wonderful! I would definitely try them again!

Website says open until 6. Google says open til 6. Get there at 5:45 and doors are locked. Not the first time I’ve driven out of my way to get there and find out they are closed early. Why even have hours listed if you aren’t going to honor them because you want to leave a few minutes early. Eventually, I’ll just stop coming here I guess.

Just an FYI, although it says in-store shopping, there is no dine-in at this time. I drove over there thinking I could sit in there but that isnt an option right now due to COVID. Seems like a nice place though to study or work when the pandemic is over. Didnt get a coffee so cant give the full five stars in confidence yet. Just hoping to save someone else the drive over if youre looking for a place to study or work.

The quintessential neighborhood cafe... friendly staff, great ambiance, awesome location. I only drink the boxed teas, but snacks are awesome too. great place to telework or just sit and chat.

Cute and convenient little coffee shop with plenty of space to do work. Indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of baked good options and pre-made sandwiches in the cooler. They provide wall space for artists to display their work which rotates regularly. Love it here.

Really nice interior

The coffee is really good. So is the espresso. Some of the best in Atlanta. One of my favorite coffee shops. The pastries are decent but not super impressive. Prices are high but not much different than everywhere else. The customer base is good normal people. The staff, some are very nice some are not as nice but who cares so long as they give me my coffee.

Kavarna has great coffee and is a local gem.

The coffee is so good and the people are so open and welcoming. They brew Dancing Goats which is a great brand. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. It felt like the kind of place where everyone is just happy and friendly all the time, and I was only there for 10 minutes! You could really tell that the people behind the counter were genuine and patient, and sometimes thats hard to find in a coffee shop.

Asked for a flat white and they looked at me like I had two heads. Got some mumbled response from a dude who looked like he just rolled in dirt. Each time Ive given them my business, theyre about as friendly as a hot cactus. Never again.

I pride myself in supporting local businesses in my community. The location is quaint in the heart of a diverse, safe and friendly environment. The customer service lack staff with flat affect type behavior and dry personality. I enjoyed the Chai latte, but choose not to spend money patronizing a business with poor customer service.

Dancing goat coffee is amazing. The rosemary sea salt bagels are off the charts. Very cool coffee shop.

The manager is very unfriendly. He brings his briefcase in with him and never smiles and does not interact with the employees. He collects the money but never pays attention to the customers.Team members eat behind the counter but do not wash hands. Team members can be very unfriendly.Great atmosphere but need to value their customers. Prices for some items are out of touch and way too high.

AMAZING COFFEE! AMAZING PEOPLE!!!This is by far the best coffee shop in ATL. Kavarna always serves fresh coffee that is smooth with a rich flavor- and it keeps regulars like me coming in every day! They also have affordable breakfast options like bagels and pastries. With funky decor and occasional live music events, Kavarna is a great place to meet with friends or just get some work done. Basically, its BETTER than Java Monkey, Dancing Goats, and Tap Room combined...

One of my favorite places to go. The coffee has always been good and the staff is super friendly. I usually go once a month for the Southern Surf Stomp, but if I lived by it would definitely be more than once a week.

This coffee shop is trying and I’d love to support (smaller) businesses. However, I’d much rather have a Starbucks in place of this location. It’s a place you go because there is nothing better in the relative area.

Vibe and people are great, but what really matters is the bean. I would tolerate a-hole staff if the espresso is right. At Kavarna you can have it all - great coffee and nice people.

Wow, you are trendy, in the middle of a place that needs a coffee shop for people to talk about being in, but your prices are a bit crazy. At the very core, coffee is not that expensive. Overhead is expensive and the cost is passed on to coffee that is ok. When you come here youre paying to be here. Coffee was mediocre and I would probably commit the Cardinal sin of just finding a Starbucks nearby.

Pros: Love the atmosphere, the coffee is great! Love the art on the wall, they feature new artist every week, or so.Cons: Pastries are kind of high priced to be day old, the music can be TOO LOUD, music choices can be TOO heavy metalish not enough parking.

Love a local joint with a neighborhood vibe & they have very friendly staff, but Im not impressed with the actual product or prices. They offer cold foods, but no convection oven to heat up - microwaving like McDonalds style. Bagels & pastries are nothing impressive. Hot chocolate drink w/hazelnut was down right gross. The coffee is good. Not great. Honestly I dont think it would be a popular if Oakhurst didnt just support local businesses and have ample foot traffic w/limited options.

The venue has a great stage, with killer sight lines, The House Pa is Provided, but, you need to bring your own Effects Units and a couple of TRS Patch cords to use it in the mixer. Great coffee place. Has an open, well-lit main area, which is typically full of people typing away on laptops during the week.

A bit of hipster vibe going on, but the coffee is good, moderately priced (for coffee shops). There are almost always folks here working on laptops, but that seems to be a standard for coffee shops.

Well situated in the heart of Oakhurst. I go here to work in the afternoon to get out of the house. Kind bummed they scrapped the made to order bites for premade Carby sandwiches..Coffee is good nonetheless.

The staff is neither warm and friendly nor rude, but just there and almost catatonic in behavior everytime I go in.The interior could also use a slight renovation. I dont mind it personally, but my wife doesnt care much for it which is why weve been going to TapRoom in Kirkwood more often, unless were coming over from the dogpark.

Staff was unfriendly. None of them were wearing aprons. Didnt see a single person wash there hands before preparing drinks.My hot coffee was given to me without a top.Everything was overpriced! Maybe Im just not use to going to mom and pop coffee shops and there all like this.
