This place sells indian groceries, cooking vessels, and some devotional items. I usually go here for Indian snacks, pickles and spices.I saw cricket bats available here.Very crowded. Absolutely no social distancing, but everyone is wearing mask.
This review is specific for one lady staff. I dont know her name but next time I will ask the manager for her name. She works at the counter #1. All other staff are always welcoming and have smiling face and greet you well. But this lady always have bad attitude towards customers and no smile on her face. Show extraordinary attitude. She have not checked the date and time on the receipt and act like she is the owner and talk rubbish. So first check the date on the receipt if customer is returning the item dont act like a boss. Do your work as a employee and try to learn how to treat customers. If the customer show you honesty so you should also show some respect.
Absolutely the best location in the southeast USA, for Indian folks. 10 Indian restaurants, 3 Absolutely wonderful jewelry stores, great clothing shops..etc
Everyone at store is helpful always but my Husband Michael went store today and I need someone to help him to get him fast everything and ALI was excellent help today very fast he gathered everything I needed over the phone and it was very convenient for my husband to save his time thanks!
Love this place. They have fresh Asian vegetables. They have all the spices that anyone could need plus all the extras for an Indian meal.
Everything was going well but these two men just started yelling at this one lady and it was super disrespectful. The lady was visibly very upset and it just made the whole shopping experience bad. I think she deserves an apology and those men should deserve disciplinary action taken again them.
Good selection of Indian groceries and other products.
I must appreciate patel brother’s for helping me to pull out car key from drain outside in their parking lot one night.one suggestion :i like Deep products always better.only few Deep products available here.
Staff is very helpful they always have everything I need I drive 1.5 hour to get my groceries from here .
Everything was really easy to find and all but there were these two really rude men workers yelling at this women worker and she was crying. That made it a really poor experience, she was pretty upset over the situation and in terms of customer experience, I don’t think she deserved to be yelled at in front of ton of people by two people. I genuinely think she should be given an apology and some disciplinary action should be taken against the men
Lots and lots of good Indian products you wont find in most stores all in one place. Prices are very reasonable.
I was standing in the line on Labor Day with a handful of groceries. There was just one cash register open, a fellow customer standing behind me suggested we could go to the counter which sells sweets and snacks, when we approached the register, the cashier profusely refused to wait on us and I had to return back to the original single file register and the lady cashier instead of waiting on me, refused to wring up my products. I wondered if these Indians know how to provide customer service in a decent way. I had to leave my products on the counter and leave because the cashier made a decision not to wait on me. Im sorry to say this is by far one of the worst customer service in an Indian grocery store. Cherian’s across the street treats you well.
They have good selection of groceries but store needs up their overall cleanliness level.
Busy supermarket with good selection. Weekly specials. My family likes the selection of frozen samosas.
Very friendly staff Thank you for your service Ali bhai I really appreciate
All, please double check your receipts two times we have experience where we were over charged. Once they double charged when we took only one item and last week they completely put a different item and charged extra $29. Good that my wife has habit of verifying receipts. The lady who was checking out was completely ignorant .
Excellent prices. Amazing stock availability
I was there thats for sure with a friend of mine. Anyway I didnt actually shop but I was in the store and walked through there and looks like they have just about anything you might want in Indian cuisine. I dont have a whole lot of knowledge or experience with that but the place was clean and it was crowded through a good business and its about all I can tell you.
Theres much variety to choose from. The store is well stocked and employees are always stocking produce to keep up with the demand of incoming customers. When I visited, the market was super busy. Produce noted all around the floor. Prices are decent - worth the cost as many other markets dont offer Asian variety produce. Id come back.
Two males yelling at this nice lady with glasses and they were ganging up on her and afterwards acted like nothing happened not to mention she started crying really heavily and one of the male had glasses and shirt and the other one was bald and tall!! they were yelling at her i’m front of everyone and just being disrespectful to the poor lady
Once inside, the sheer size of the store is impressive. This indeed is a Supermarket of Indian foods and goods. Abundant fresh vegetables of good quality and at a reasonable price. There are the biscuits and crackers from India, the egg-free pastries, carron-board and charpai Indian folding bed. For the nostalgic kind, they probably have anything that you want or crave to make you feel at home.
Its is mostly crowded, but you get all the Indian stuff. This is the store where everything is available.
All indian and asian Grosers, verity of brand available, well behaved staff
As long as you go early you will miss the crowds. I was in and out in minutes. Store is well stocked and organized so its easy to find whatever you need. If you cant find something the employees are super helpful in guiding you to your unfamiliar items.
One stop for all the Indian grocery. Staff is very helpful and guides well.
Busy place always but loving it
Nice collection of Indian stuff...
Good place for shopping and getting things
Good collection of items and mostly fresh ones. Could not find some items as they ran out of stock. Restroom is not clean. Staff is friendly. There is no Parking problem, but finding shopping cart is a problem. Had to fetch myself from parking area.
The store has a lot of variety, the staff is nice, and prices are fair but I really dont appreciate incorrect quantity ring ups. This is the third time Ive had an extra item rung up in quantity (probably by mistake). Be sure to check whilst items are being scanned.
Very clean place to shop around!Good variety of groceries & almost all Indian stuff available here.
This plaza has lots of restaurants that serve very delicious food. There are lots of parking spots available. I would definitely recommend visiting if you enjoy Indian food, need to pick up some groceries and other items. Bawarchi Biryanis is one of my favorite places in this shopping area.
Everything is getting more expensive now a day
Friendliest and price are very cheap compared to other store. If you want to save some money shop your vegetable from here. People are from Indian subcontinent Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani will be happy to get their food at good price.
Indian grocery store usually very busy which tells you that they have the fresh items and reasonable prices
Good well stocked and professionally managed Indian store.
Quick walk through today. So many interesting things! I dont know enough to know what many of them are 😊
Nice store. The only problem I had was I could not get the assistance I needed as 1) I could not tell the difference between their employees and the customers as everyone spoke an indigenous language different than what I speak and, 2) the place was overcrowded; which I think for them is a good thing as it means that it is an establishment where any and everyone can find any and everything.
Good place for Indian Pakistan grocery items and fresh vegetables and fruits. Prices are good
All Indian Pakistani groceries avaliable in Patel Plaza
Excellent place for Asian family
Its ok. Just like any other Patel brothers. Good South Asian items but poor customer service.
Indian grocery store. But has some Sri Lankan items like red rice, some MD products (pickles, chutneys), kithul peni, frozen indi appa, godamba roti etc,During Indian festive days this place is fully crowded. Id recommend avoiding evenings on those days for shopping here. They will have boxes at the cashier if you want them to pack your stuff in boxes instead of bags.
Best destination for indian groceries at reasonable price.
I was referred to Patel Brothers by my family Dr. And I found the store to be a place to help body and soul.
Good place for Indian grocery items
For Indian groceries i always prefer Patel brothers, coz most of kitchen goods are available there. Fresh vegetables with fair price. Variety of pre-cooked veg & non-veg frozen food items, Indian ice cream, sweets and lots of other things r available.
Good indian stores.. All varieties of indian croceries are available here.. Very spacious one
Karimbhai is good and giving good customer service!!!! I like quality they sell..
I love that restaurants are next door!
Had a great experience shopping for fresh foods from different cuy
Ill never set foot in this place again. This horrible cashier (skinny lady with glasses on register 3) treats my family and I as if we are criminals, over dramatically searching our cart for items she thinks we are trying to steal - this, despite the fact that our food stamps ar we paying for everything. After avoiding here aisle like the plague, not shes taken to alerting other cashiers to examine us for some imagined contraband as well. I shouldve walked out right there, but I had already wasted too much time and my children wanted to go home, so I used my EBT and left, never to come back again. Ill take my business to Cherians where my business is appreciated and the employees are nice to us. Please save your self and your familys humiliation and stay away from here.
Kinda dirty. Ive been told its a typical Indian market.
Its in a nice plaza but very crowded on weekends as expected but its not very spacious even in the entrance so try to avoid weekends.
Poorly Managed. Driving through the parking lots a bit troubling. Could be run over by a camel 🐪 if the Children dont run out in front of you with their mothers and fathers are still in the car 🚗!
Ok...product are ok...need to check expiration dates
Karim Bhai is best customer service
This place is amazing. Youll get everything you can need as an Indian. I have simple belief. If a store has parle-g then it has everything. And Patels does. The only reason I took that star off is because they have not made masks mandatory for customers. Considering the pandemic in the US is getting worse. Indians genetically have an advantage but that doesnt mean theyll not be considerate about others they meet.
The store is wonderful for South Asian food and produce. I always find lots of wonderful new things when I go here. as long as you are open to an experience different from your traditional American grocery store, you will enjoy your trip.
Patel Brothers is good place to buy fresh vegetables and grocery, but during the span of time, people divert to Cherian store, nearby. Whats I have experienced. Management should think about.I am from their native Gujarat, I suggest to find out reason of above mentioned situation. Jay Jay Garavi Gujarat.
Convenient but the customer service could be improved.
Love Patel Brothers Grocery. I go about once a month to stock up on things my teens like. We attempt many international dishes, and are able to get some short cuts and instant foods that make it easier to achieve our favorites. Frozen Naan, paratha bread, and definitely the best frozen samosas.
Lots of fresh vegetables available
Great choices for Indian subcontinental food and groceries
Not organized at all the stuff is everywhere be careful half of the food products are OUT OF DATE on top of that rude cashiers I won’t visit them again.
Nice super market with all essential Indiana groceries (pulses, spices, rice, etc) and food items(packed food, sweets, fruits). I also found few typical face creams and shampoos which are only available in india. Also very spacious with uniquely identified sections. Situated at a very good location where a lot of indian stores for food, sweets with spacious parking😊
Definitely needs a thorough cleaning up, especially in the produce department.
Great place to buy mango.
I really enjoy shopping here as well!
I went, Patel brothers after 10 months. But in present situation, they didnt maintain social distance, no sanitizer, no cleaning properly. Even no one cleaning the carts are there. Seriously i visited two more Indian groceries in this covid-19 situation. This is worse than them. I am sorry to say like this.they providing all groceries but they didnt provide sanitizer, cleaning carts. I dont know why they are like. It is a biggest Indian mall. If they will take little more care, its good for everyone.
Good indian grocery store. You can find pretty much every indian groceries here. Occasionally there will be some sale like Diwali sale etc, which is a good value for $$
All indian spices and vegtables are fresh here, one stop store for all your indian goods
Very big store and can get most of the items we need at one place. The homemade snacks are very good too.
Mexican employees where not wearing masks. I ask one if them why not a d I was given the lamest answer.I just came in if as a client I am expected to wear one the employees should come in wearing a mask. I will not be coming here ever again. Will try and find my chutney in Amazon and after the pandemic will go across the street to cherians.... SUPER Disappointed!!!!!!
I am very happy with their product and service, however. I wish the parking lot was lit better. Its very dark in the evening.
Please be careful at this location, manager will not sanitize cart or any counter place for safety, I requested the manager to help maintain and help us to sensitize everything, he point me to 1 tissue roll and hand sanitizer. I got infected from this place.
The place is good .
Good variety indian grocery store. But poor management somehow and cashier enter item scanning 2 time intentionally. I had experience 2 to 3 times. I catch them as well to doing that intentionally.
They have everything we need that we can not find anywhere else.
We have been shopping here for years. Always had a great shopping experience. They have amazing variety of all kinds of stuff . It’s almost like been in India. Their staff friendly and professional . But to top everything, today we got amazing service from their manager SANJAY!!! We have always noticed him working hard, smiling but still well in control of everything. Today due to some small error when we directly interacted with him, we came to know that how dedicated they are towards customers and truly care for them, though they are doing so great already for many many years . We truly feel fortunate that we have such businesses that are so high on ethics !!!
Great store to buy international food
Excellent variety but pricey
My first visit was great! I will return!
I like the fact that this store is really healthy and has decent prices.
I went to Patel Brothers the other day and I was surprised to see that they had very large fresh vegetable selection. Its an excellent supermarket for Indian spices, products and packaged foods.I went during the weekday so it wasnt a lot of customers. I could see this place and get very busy on the weekends. Its a very good location thats near the DeKalb Farmers Market.
Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent food
They are very commercial and sell cheap products... they carry just one brand of inventory SwadBelieve me I am not kidding Swad is a dangerous brand with very unhygienic quality I purchased shredded coconut when it says the expiry is in 2018 but it was all spoilt and smelling bad...You definitely dont want to spoil your health...
I like this chain. They are very standard and you walk into any of their stores across the US you know what they have.
