Asked the owner for pricing on certain items that weren’t labeled with a price tag. Owner became angry and raised his voice at me for not buying the items once I found out they were way overpriced. I apologized for the confusion at first. But he became irate and wouldn’t let it go. Basically yelling at me about nothing in particular. Horrible experience. After seeing the reviews it’s clear that this is a typical way for the owners to act.
The beer in their refrigerator is warm. Maybe its on the cool side of warm, but still warm. Warmer than any other liquor store, restaurant, or bar in the area.
This place is better than most small neighborhood package stores. The wine selection is much more interesting than the basic grocery store stuff and they have actually stocked wines I asked about before.
The coolers are barely cool let alone cold. Its like someone told the owners what cold felt like and they did their best. The staff is also very unhelpful and inconsiderate. In a pinch this place will do but if you want to find a regular liquor store to visit and find interesting things go elsewhere.
Always have what I want and theyre right down the street.
The worst selection, expired products and the strangest environment with staff. Never shop here! Too bad it is in a perfect location.
This place is very nice. A good selection of craft beers, wines and spirits. They are starting to sell individual 12 oz. beers, so you can mix your own six pack or buy fewer if you like. More options along these lines would be nice.
Good selection for a neighborhood location.
We pulled up in our vehicle as they were closing for the evening. My Hispanic friend walked up to the door as a older white gentleman also walked up, both hoping the employee would let them in at the last minute. After much waving and persuading, the employee walked over to unlock and open the door. But much to my surprise, and the surprise of the others in our vehicle, the employee let the white gentleman in but then started to close the door in my friends face. He blatantly allowed the white man inside the store as a courtesy, but wouldnt allow my Hispanic friend inside. When others of us, who are white, went to his aid to point out the obvious racism, the store employee then tried to remedy the situation and open the door to him. Needless to say, we were happy to purchase our beers elsewhere. I cannot believe that this actually happened, right in front of our faces. How pathetic and shameful. I understand if the employee didnt want to reopen because it was after hours. But to allow one man to be a patron but not another is truly disgusting. Their money was the same color, but their skin color wasnt- and that apparently is a problem for this establishment.
Absolutely the most rude staff. The owner is so disrespectful. On top, I compared the prices and they are substantially higher priced that the all other liquor stores close by. Dont go. Look for any other liquor store. Go only if you want to be belittled and treated horribly. Tried talking with the owner but he became irate and starting insulting me.
This place judges people based on the color of their skin. Let me explain. We pulled up as they were closing at the same time as another guy. One of my friends got out of the car and went up to the door at the same time as the other guy. Both asked if they could come in and make a quick purchase. The guy working let in the other guy, who happened to be white, and then shut the door in my friends face, who is from Peru. Absolutely unacceptable! You deny both or let both in! I live around the corner and will NEVER purchase anything from this establishment. Its a harsh reality that these things still happen, but this shouldnt be ignored!!! Dont support people who act this way!
Awful service from indifferent staff. Higher prices than other stores in the area. This woman who seems to be the owner and (its either her son or husband) should not be in a retail business. They barely smile, or make eye contact.Be careful of mixers--some are discolored and since the store is poorly lit you might not discover it until you get home.
Great beer selection. Prices are $10 more than some other stores only on some items. Know your price when you visit.
They somehow pack almost everything we need in a seemingly small space. Thanks for the convenience!
He attempted to charge me double the cost for Dusse like I wouldnt notice!
Its booze. Booze makes people happy. No rocket science here..
Abosolutley the most umprofessional and incredibly rude staff!!! I had always seen this store on my way to work and decided to stop by after work and see what they had. When I went in the store I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent selection of single malt scotch ( I am an avid collector) they had, this of course was short lived and quickly ruined by the woman working the counter who I assume was an owner. She scolded me loudly for inspecting the bottles and then treated me like I was some garbage low class human who had no business being in her store and continued to be incredibly rude. I tried to explain my reasons for inspecting the bottles but she wouldn’t hear it. I left and never plan to return and would advise the same to everyone else! This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for a retail store, and it should be ashamed of it lack of customer service/interaction! My only regret is that I didn’t read the reviews on google first as it probably would have saved me the aggravation of walking into this poorly named store.
This place is a diamond in the rough when you are looking for beer styles that might have been seasonal and have past. I found what I was looking for without having to run to the larger stores like Greens and Tower. I had low expectations but they came through. Overall the beer selection is low and the beer price tag was $11.99 but the owner charged me $12.99. When I mentioned that it was wrong, he said that the price was wrong. I didnt care to argue as I found the beer I wanted, but the response was shady. What for that when you go there.
Vast wide selection, great hours, and excellent parking.
Had a bad bottle of wine from this store and tried to swap it out for a different one. Cork was bad and they wouldn’t replace nor refund my money. Don’t ever shop here. Prices are off point and they are horrible customer service
Really well organised wine and spirits shop with some interesting wines that are rarer on the Georgia market. Huge selection of rosé.
Holy smokes. Racist guy at the front desk.
Worst prices I think I have ever seen, decent selection of bourbon likely because no one will buy it at the prices! Weller special reserve for $50, midwinters night $200!
Don’t shop here. The staff is rude and customer service is nonexistent. I bought a bottle of wine that had gone bad- it very obviously tasted like vinegar. I brought it back 20 mins after buying it assuming I could just swap it out for a different bottle. The man working there refused to refund my money or exchange the wine telling me they would have to send the bottle to the distributor and test it to make sure it was really bad. Wow. I left my number to have the owner call me and stopped by another time to inquire about the matter and almost 2 weeks later nothing. Ridiculous way to run a business. I’ll go elsewhere.
Considerably higher prices than surrounding liquor stores.
Rude staff they say they close at 9:30 but actually closes at when they want will not come here again!
Cheap liquor and friendly staff
