I discovered Ink + Alloy on Facebook and my eye was immediately caught by their beautiful and unique jewelry pieces. I have purchased several items from their store, including bracelets, necklaces and earrings, since discovering them and absolutely LOVE everything I received from them. Not only is their jewelry beautiful looking, it is quality made and I think will last me a long time. Thanks Ink + Alloy! I highly recommend supporting their business...you wont be disappointed. 😉

No effort at customer service or desire to understand where they have made a huge mistake as a company. I recommend looking at their recent Instragram posts and specifically the comments that highlight the very poor judgment I&A has made when customers pointed out that it has been inappropriately using Native American designs and descriptions on their jewelry. Not recommended.

This brand has not only refused to take down stolen designs. They have activly silenced Native voices, blocked Native people, gotten rid of posts where Native people tagged them, told Native people lies about their brand, and done nothing good other than spit out false words about supporting women (despite their blatant lack of support and active silencing of Native women) Please dont support them. Im literally begging you to buy Indigenous instead.

I would choose Zero stars for INK+ ALLOY, they are appropriating Native culture, which is absolutely horrible and also against the law. “The Indian Arts and Crafts Act (Act) of 1990 (P.L. 101-644) is a truth-in-advertising law that prohibits misrepresentation in the marketing of Indian arts and crafts products within the United States. ... The law covers all Indian and Indian-style traditional and contemporary arts and crafts produced after 1935.” -DOI.org

This company is sketchy. This company was called out for cultural appropriation and using the word Navajo in the names of their products (which is against the law in the US). Instead of owning up to this behaviour they tried to delete all traces and are continually silencing Indigenous Women on their posts. Their post on Instagram describing this situation is classic DARVO and paints themselves as a victim. Based on this information I would not be surprised if their artisan factories in India are sweatshops and they are exploiting more People of Color. This organization has lost all credibility.

Please do not do business with this company until they apologize for appropriation of native design, and their ongoing practices of blocking feedback that is critical of their mistreatment of indigenous people. Additionally, they have made it clear that they don’t understand that there are different tribes. We’re not all Navajo. Beadwork is more recognized as a craft of the Anishinaabe peoples.

Super cute products but poor quality. I purchased a tote that started unwraveling the 2nd week I used it, a tassell/pom pom accessory that broke the first day I put it on my tote, and a pair of brass hoop earrings that came tarnished upon delivery. I also bought a seeded pouch that so far looks great but I havent used it yet.

This company actively blocks native voices calling them out about their violations of the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990. Do not give a penny to people so determined to misappropriate cultures for profit. This kwe does not approve.

They are stealing Native designs. They have been purposefully deleting Native comments and blocking Native people who try to educate them. Please buy from Native networkers instead. They still refuse to apologize, and are choosing to attempt to silence Native voices instead. Stand with the Native community, not Ink+Alloy.

Received some as a gift and fell apart easily. Not so great quality. Then I go online to complain and realize they’re culturally appropriating some of their designs. Bad quality, and bad ethics.

Stealing Native designs and not taking accountability for their appropriation of Native traditions and culture. Unfortunately they’d rather delete comments than face what they’ve done and continue to do — benefit off of Native womxn.
