I just learned that a favorite author and illustrator of mine lives and co-owns this store not more than 40 minutes from me. How exciting! The store is smaller than I imagined but it is filled with all the amazing books I could have hoped for. Some even autographed. My only complaint is many of the items aren’t priced and I am a shy person so I passed on purchasing a lot of what caught my eye. However, I will definitely be going back!

This is a wonderful bookstore specializing in childrens books. Its opened by a local illustrator and features a lot of his work. The selection is great, helpful and non-annoying staff, plus a cafe. You cant go wrong. They have me a free book with my first visit to the shop. Ill definitely stop by anytime Im in the area, its worth the ride. Kids love it too. There are author events and readings for kids. I cant say enough good things about this shop.

They sell childrens books and adult books in stores. Also they sell toys in stores. Perfect for waiting the 34E bus.

This is a lovely book store and coffee place. It is the ideal book store before chains got involved. It has a warm and inviting feel to it. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well as having a pretty good selection as well. You get the personalized service you dont find anymore.

Absolutely adore this place. They have all the best childrens books, lovely toys, cards, and small gifts, and it even has a little coffee shop inside! The storytimes, events, and community gatherings are fabulous. The staff are lovely, and the owner is the author of the world famous Dot books. Its a local treasure and a great place to visit with kids.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Went on a nice weekday with an elderly individual. We were able to find street parking only a short walk away. The door was handicapped automated which makes all the difference. The staff could not have been more polite or friendly, especially Michael who really made an impact. A really interactive space with board games, coffee, baked goods and of course books! While the book selection itself is geared towards children, there is a small section for adults. They host events and are an inclusive space. Absolutely loved it and will be going back.

The history time on monday at 10:30 is perfect for kids! A very fun bookstore!

This store brings me back to my childhood and is actually a lot bigger than I expected. It is situated in historic downtown Dedham, which has your array of restaurants and smaller shops. This store is right on the main street and you cannot miss it, since usually outside on a nice day, they put out a stuffed sheep to greet customers.
