Whole foods is a great food market, but they are super expensive. I spent 100 dollars on a bag of food. There Gluten Free section is tiny in comparison to other food markets. But their quality of meats and fruit is top-notch. The moral of the story, youre going to spend a ton for a small number of groceries.
Love This place! Hot bar..every kind of salad, soup awesome Chicken wing bar.. Freshest Seafood and Complete Sushi area..Baked bread made from scratch!! Every kind you could imagine! Pizza..Hugh slices! There desserts are INCREDIBLE! YOU JUST HAVE TO GO EXPERIENCE THIS STORE!!🤩👍
The store is very clean people are very nice they go out of their way to help the shopper that is my experience
Sad how on 10/14/21 at 3:00 pm I went to self check out to pay for my food and I had the little lady standing up close on me as if they whole self checkout area wasn’t full. It’s normal in these Whole Foods I noticed they will be 100 people at self check out and the clerk will be doing everything cleaning walking around not paying attention but as soon as someone of color come they literally stop whatever they’re doing to watch you scan everything I had 2 items. Try it yourself when walk in today right now and wait until it’s really busy at self checkout and noticed the clerk not really paying at renting and grab one thing a juice and watch how quick she is behind you to see if you scanned the juice as if the other other 5 people at self checkout don’t need be taken care of also . Whole Foods dedham try it now .
WF used to be excellent in every way ... Now it seems the store has adopted an attitude of ah... its fine...no worries... Dont work too hard...Excellence is NOT the goal. Very sad.
I love whole foods. I am glad it is not too close to my house or I would be broke by now. This store in particular is awesome for having wine and beer. One stop to rule your dinner. Cons this is one of the stores where I am having trouble with fresh produce section. I cant make logical sense of where things are. So it takes a bit longer if you want fresh veggies. Etc.
Extensive selection of wonderful fresh foods and beverages.... Great selection of ready to eat salads, deli sandwiches, suchi, soups, deserts, pizza, breads...the list goes on...The only issue for us is the hustle and flow of the regular customers that know their way around and were like deer blinded. In the headlights.... Our take away lessons from our experience is to NOT go during the end of the work day rush....AND to go more frequently to gain the experience of the regulars.... Theres so much to explore but not during the rush hour stampede....☘️💖
Great options as typical for Whole Foods - I was pleasantly surprised by the freshly made items for lunch. There was an extensive salad bar as well as a variety of options for free pasta, meat, tofu, vegetables etc.On top of this, there was an area to sit behind the registers to enoy the food fresh before leaving that was equipped with paper towels, utensils and even a sink to wash your hands.Legacy Place as a whole is a nice spot.
Super friendly and helpful staff! The pizza and other bakery goods are simply delicious!
The employees are friendly, the store was bright and nice and cool.Whenever a line seems to be too long, they added another cashier. I love shopping here.
Very convenient, easy in and out shopping, and you can always find whatever it is you need. Great place
I come here every once in a while and always love what I find.
Dont park in the Legacy Place area for this store... Park in the dedicated Whole Foods area
Always a nice visit. Prepared foods beautiful. Pastry selection wonderful. Everyone buying flowers and having them wrapped for M Day. 3 stations. Top notch.
This is a great Whole Foods. They have everything here and the store is very big. They have all of the fresh food for lunch and dinner right when you walk in. All the food here is organic and is very delicious. The employees here are so kind and helpful. We will surely come back to this Whole Foods which is also in a great location!
The bread I bought was still warm from the oven. Nothing like fresh bread. I also got olives for my Aunt that is older and I really like how they pitted the olives. They were definitely a hit.
Glad to see the food bar back! Great choices!
Look for a couple or things : The everyone essential oils (aromatherapy blends)for my diffuser which they used to carry but do not carry anymore so its a little disappointed on than end.But did find other things that was one my shopping list.
This place has fresh food and its delicious
Great selection of fresh produce. A bit pricy.
Large place! Plenty of parking and fully stocked bakery section.
Place is always clean and stocked! Bonus my daughter loves the little car carts which makes the shopping experience so fun !
Decent amount of parking. Easy access as part of Legacy Place. Large store. Excellent assortment of all types of food and produce. Good take out selection. Beer and wine can be purchased here. Very fresh produce. Organic selections not often found in a typical supermarket. A bit on the expensive side
Just feel like its downgraded with all the sale signs and if your not a prime member you pay more. Oh, that makes me feel special.
This place and its employees are all around awesome but Christine (hopefully I have her name right) in the bakery with her crew top notch. Ordered cupcakes for an event and it was unbelievable how delicious they were. Christines customer service was phenomenal and she deserves recognition for it. Its the extra things!!!
Employees needs more training.Than just said a rude NOOOOO. More customer service please.LONG STORY THE SUPERVISOR just said is ok to be rude
Really love shopping here, but be warned that it is very busy. Even so, the staff seemed friendly and willing to help. Carts and baskets are sanitized before you grab them. Paraplegic parking and wheelchair accessibility are included with the store facility and parking.
Very good all the time
I am writing this review in reference to this store being a supplier of local Area Prime delivery. This store always sources great picks from Amazon Prime and is well managed. Darwin, the Dedham Store manager, recently went out of his way to fix a delivery error made by an Amazon picker--such great customer service.
Had some great low cal options. Smart sweets, pineapple and lillys sf chocolate chips. Wish they had more kinds of skinny pop tho.
Go Whole Foods! Shout-out to the management, great selections and very easy to transit inside the store. I miss the fact that they were promoting classes and activities in the supermarket, but understand that because of COVID that is no longer possible. Love that they paired up with AMAZON PRIME, makes things very easy and cant complain at all every time we get to receive rewards. Whole Foods is also a great place to go with small kids if you need a safe space to go to and keep them entertained during COVID.
I like this store under normal circumstances but tonight I had a bizarre experience at the meat counter, where an employee completely lost his cool. Pretty much went unhinged to a point where another employee came over to apologize. The angry employee kept coming and going while I was waiting to be served, I waited quite a bit to no avail. He completely ignored me so I said hello, he again ignored me. I kept calling him several more times as I wasn’t getting the impression that he heard me. He then snapped and said “can’t you see that no one is here”! Hm, actually I can see that two employees are there. He could have said “someone will be with you shortly”! I can tell his coworker was shocked and completely embarrassed. Bizarre is an understatement. He then stormed out very angrily! I’ve never seen this at Wholefoods! Is this the consequence of Amazon taking over?
From all supermarket establishments, this is one of my familys and mines top pick. Whole foods is oh so amazing both because of its variety of items as well because of how cool it is to experience walking inside. I have small kids and because of COVID-19 they havent had many options outside if the house, so one of the places I got very much used to visiting with them is Whole Foods. It might have everything to do with the big train cart made available for those that bring their kids. In any case, I cant have enough of this place as theres always a new item to try.
The employees here are exceptionally kind, go above and beyond, and are incredible people.
This is the best Whole Foods around and it’s not even close. I wish that Amazon didn’t buy it so that I could feel a lot better about spending my money here. Workers used to be a lot happier before the takeover but they are still very friendly and helpful. I hate to say it but you’d be hard pressed to find a better grocery store.
Was out of orchids :( besides that perfection!🥰
Wonderful place to shop! Love the vegetable display so beautiful..
Great store a little pricey
I love it here.
There has been a line the past 2 times Ive visited, earlier in the day is the best time to visit. Great location to do Amazon prime pick up
Good quality good but lacking quantity.
Excellent food service and prices...
Quick meal. So lovely
Clean, well stocked. My major issue was that the personal shoppers consistently were walking against the direction signs. They are pushy, jump in front of instore shoppers.
Great place to find groceries and international ingredients, if you go in through the back entrance it is a bit confusing
One of my favorite Whole Foods I have ever been to! The staff is always super friendly, courteous, and willing to help. I come here often and whether it’s the sandwiches or burrito bar, hot bar, coffee bar, or shopping, the staff is always ready to assist. I have been to over 20 Whole Foods from the East to the West Coast and this one is in the top 3 hands down. Didn’t realize that until my travels because I was going to this one so frequently. Highly recommended! Thank you Henry, Frantzu, Greg, Luisa, and the rest of the staff for all you do🙏🏽
Great location. Big store with lots of variety and many departments. Long lines due to COVID, and watch out for those fast and furious delivery fulfillment folks. Always make a stop here after Costco.
I stopped at Whole Foods specifically to purchase fresh fruits and veggies. They have a very good selection, with excellent quality and price. This is the one store that carries Green Valley lactose free cream cheese also. Overall great value, comparable prices and super quality.
Disappointing visit ... Milk and fruits were not stocked ...
I just want to thank Luke and Diego in the seafood department for helping my husband and I purchase and recieve some of the best clean cut, large pieces of Chilean Sea Bass this past week. Luke was kind enough to take our request one night and the next day when he was in, he took care of it himself and it was a wonderful job. He was so friendly and helped us tremendously. Diego was in on a Tuesday night and helped us receive another 2 large pieces and even cut (perfectly) a frozen piece for us. Thank you for hiring such courteous, customer friendly people.
What a wonderful place to shop and very clean
Do they have quality control? Apparently not!
Wish all Whole Foods markets were like this one. I’ve traveled all over the place and honestly wish they were consistent with the lay outs and content in there markets. Some Whole Foods are shameful. This one is amazing. Great helpful staff. Really good prepared foods selection. Thanks!
Hum have been better. Felt like there was less products and kinda weird. Not as clean as before maybe? ! Something was off but cashier was nice and professional 👌😊
Coffee people are great. Aways a Good morning and a hot coffee.
Strawberry 🍰 the best...Good bye to my personal baker
A good supermarket. Their products look organic enough, and the prices are reasonable as long as you stay away from the cooked-in-store items.
Absolute fiyah dood
I love not to far from Whole Foods though I never do complete grocery shopping (who’s gonna pay for it?) they seem to always have the shelves stocked with the items I need. My appearance frightens the loss prevention team; so, occasionally you have someone following you around. I have nothing to worry about so I continue shopping seafood & meat sections are great, looks clean.Great perks if your amazon prime member (I am 😬)
Dedham way better then Hingham, Hingham always has a line outside burrrr....
My family shopped there today and none of (or very few) staff were wearing face masks. Please correct this as both staff and customers are highly exposed during this time period. All essential businesses should be mandating proper personal protective equipment be worn by all employees. Let’s keep each other safe please.
Wonderful store
A visit once a month is on the schedule. To get those special items that complete your pantry
Always a good place to shop. Handles Covid protocols well
My favorite one to go to. I can always find what I need. They also added a self checkout area which will make shopping a lot quicker for those who want to be in and out.
Always great service. Food always looks fresh and healthy
The store was nice and service was great.
Nice and clean. Great customer service. Found out a large cheese pizza is 6 bucks on Fridays. Yay!!
As always, my happy place
Great store if youre able to go inside. But if youre not willing to take the COVID risk, and youre doing order-in-the-app and Curbside Pickup, then this place is a disaster. Every other local Whole Foods has the curbside pickup thing figured out, Dedham--with only two pickup spaces and more than a 40 minute wait *after checking in*--absolutely does not.
Good selection, fresh meats, fruits, and vegetables. Prepared foods.Delivery available.
Produce always good with variety, including organic. Nice to get a decent bite too. Never like to grocery shop while hungary.
If you’re a Whole Foods fan in the MA area this is one of the best ones around. It’s very big for a Whole Foods and has great selections. Really great customer service too. Just try to avoid going at really busy times because Legacy and Whole Foods get very packed
Great selection. Love their fresh produce section
Organized kaos, no direction, workers squeezing there way through customers
One of the nicest Whole Foods I have ever shopped at (comparing to 2 others in Boston area, San Francisco area, and Dallas).
I only went in there to get sushi and a pair of Fuji Apple Juice drinks...that being said they have a good deal of things you wont find anywhere else. Place is off the chain!
The store is awesome!!
Super busy. Employees very knowledgeable and friendly.
Unlike any other with a huge selection of grocery items...lots of organic produce...a deli section with such a wide variety of offerings never seen in other markets...and large seating section for patrons who wants to shop and dine.
Always great quality. Since I am gluten and dairy free, I appreciate their products that I can get there. Sure it is expensive, but they have what I need.
I love the fresh vegetables strawberries blueberries and cherries will shop there again
Fast returns at the Amazon counter.
I’m a regular customer of Whole Foods for years and the deli section has been always a problem for me, they always have an attitude like you are not aloud to ask how you want your deli to be cut. They always cut my deli thick even if I have asked them for thin and the last time they cut more than I asked for, horrible work. I’m paying more for a product that I don’t like and at the and I have the attitude like they are paying for it not me.
Even with quarantine protocols in place service was still quick.
I love this location. I’m used to the one in Hingham, and this blows it away. Bigger, better in every way. Seems more like food co-ops I’ve seen in the Midwest than a standard grocery store. That’s high praise. Bakery is killer and there’s even a really well appointed beer selection. Will definitely return.
Pretty sick but they never have vegan pizza to buy by the slice
You would think that a Whole Foods store in Massachusetts would be well-stocked with healthy foods and extra safe from a covid perspective. If you thought that, youd be disappointed. Every time Ive been there the past couple of months, Ive seen employees and/or customers without proper face coverings. In one case, the customer had a mask around her chin, with her mouth and nose exposed. In many cases, Ive seen customers and employees with masks pulled below their noses. It feels really unsafe. You might also expect that the store would be well stocked with healthy food items. They DO have a good selection of organic produce, which is the one reason I keep coming. But why cant they keep vegetarian staples like seitan and tempeh in stock? They have their own bakery. You would think that you could find whole-grain bread at the Whole Foods bakery. But no. They do not bake any whole-grain breads, only breads with refined flours that are lower in nutrition and higher in the rate they convert to body fat. Why is that? Why dont they keep healthy foods in stock? Why dont they enforce covid safety?
Love this store, cant wait when they return to normal days
They had the homeopathic medicine I needed!! Great help from a representative and the cashier was so friendly!!
Great selection.
Bakery is always appetizing and a great place to grab healthy ready to eat dinners on those non cooking evenings.
This Whole Foods Is One Of My Favorites! In the midst of Ronas vengeance,😷 (when a lot of stores have scaled back, noticeably so, understandably so) Whole foods has weathered the storm (to the naked eye) The produce is substantial colorful, bountiful and plentiful🍇🥦🌰🥑🍎🍑! They still stock pretty much everything they did before even bakery items🥖🥐🍪 as well as pre prepped packaged salad bar offerings and some of the other hot items, have been adopted in to the expanded Pop up Take out resturant areas. The sales have been formidable and using your Prime app, you can save more since theyve jumped into bed with Amazon (mixed emotions)! They were ahead of most with the variety of gourds and pumpkins for your cooking or fall arrangements, wooing me back several times and wholly out pricing the competition. I dont go often, but when I do, I never come out empty handed. Their card and vitamin section is worth a glance too. The store is also, very shopper friendly and navigable. There is plenty of parking (easy access off Route 1 Providence Hwy) and it sits in Legacy Place as what some would call an anchor store. So, I can say, when most stores have shown bruises from these tumultuous times, Whole Foods has managed to, (make the experience of grocery shopping) for a moment allow us (at least to the naked 👁) withstand Ronas rage☄against the consumer commercial system.
