Went there for the first time to have my gears upgraded to 3.73s And let me tell you I was very impressed with the work performed. I actually spent all day there and the guys who work there couldnt of been nicer. The acceleration difference in my 97 Mustang is awesome my car is so much quicker. Thanks Mustang Magic. Joe and staff will see to it that you are 100% satisfied. I had a Borla S-type cat back installed on my 2016 GT convertible with the pesky extra bracing. Called Mustang Magic the day before I could bring my car in with little hope of getting my car in the shop. They made space for me, fixed up my car which had been touched by 4 mechanics previously without fixing the issues at hand. They diagnosed my problem and tuned my car. It’s driving 1000* better now. Im in Texas now but this place in Long Island New York is incredible they pulled 5 Dyno pulls on my 95 Mustang convertible 5.0 and increase the horsepower significantly over 340 ft lb of torque 25 1/2 miles a gallon at 80 miles an hour on cruise going back to do some head work this summer Im going to drive to New York and have them work on my car I drove this car from New York to California Non-Stop at very high speeds and it ran like a champion

I brought my car in because it wouldnt pass inspection. It needed a new tune. The guys who work for mustang magic, from the guys on the counter to the mechanics in the shop, including the owner of the shop (Joe), are professional and very knowledgeable. Their tuner is also excellent. They explained to me everything they did to the car. They answered all of my questions. They made me feel very comfortable and I trust them. My car wasnt running right, and they corrected the problem. My car runs better than before. There prices are very fair. They are worth every penny! I will be coming back for more upgrades. Awesome shop If you have the funds and youre in the market to customize or repair your Ford Mustang, this definitely is a shop to consider. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they will probably have a few cars on the lot to show you what they can do.

Had new springs installed and a new steering wheel. They also took care of the alignment (which is needed when you change springs). Their prices were very reasonable. The staff was nice and friendly. There was also a good camaraderie among the customers who were obviously Mustang enthusiasts. I will definitely use them exclusively for any work on my Shelby GT350.

I bought my mustang back in may of 2020, and was told this is the best shop to bring it to! Ive had a fair amount of work done to my car since I got it, and everytime the work that came back was awesome. I Had a problem arise right after getting one of my repairs done, and Mustang Magic took the car back in right away and fixed it for me without charging me again for a similar repair. Ive been patronizing Mustang Magic ever since my happenstance discovery of the establishment in 2017. My first encounter with this shoppe and Joe the proprietor began with an upgrade of my stock suspension setup to a Steeda build and Mickey Thompson tyres on my 2017 Mustang GT as per Joes recomendation. That initial project catapulted a mutual relationship which has led within these last four years to the shoppe building the car with a whipple supercharger, custom tune, a full exhaust, clutch upgrade and a tremec t56 magnum xl swap. Today I brought the machine to them for a basic oil change and to install an MGW shifter for the t56 magnum xl. It is a challenge finding a high performance shoppe that you can trust. I truly appreciate their honesty, integrity and professionalism. I plan to continue to roll with Mustang Magic until either the day I die, they go out of business, or I lose my GT. I was having an issue with my 2018 Mustang GT, I called up the shop and they told me to stop in on the weekend.As soon as I got there till when I left I was greeted with nothing but respect and felt like Ive know the staff my whole life. They told me what was wrong and how to fix it and even ordered me the parts I needed and fixed my mustang the following weekend! Its been running great ever since and I cant thank everyone there enough. All I know is anything in the future that has to do with my car I will be taking it there. I had previously had work done to my 5.0 swapped wagon and knew it wasnt done properly and it wasnt running right. We dont have any performance shops near me but luckily I came in contact with Joe at Mustang Magic. I simply made an appointment to bring in my car. Joe and his team were able to diagnose and mend the issues I had right away. I can say Joe was very willing to work with me given my circumstances and I thank him for that. It was a bit of a road trip to get out there but very much worth it knowing my car is in good hands. Ive got some more performance parts coming soon and Ill be back for a re-tune!

I couldnt be more impressed with the service at this shop. They are not only experts in diagnosis and tuning, but their customer service professionalism was top notch. I was kept in the loop with updates the entire time my car was in the shop, and pricing was very reasonable. When I had to leave my car for an extended period of time, Joe and his team helped find me a rental service in the area and even gave me a ride to pick up the rental (I live out of town). I have a dyno/tune shop 15 minutes away from me, I am so glad they never returned my calls! I had some cams installed and wanted a real tune and dyno done. I did some research and found MM. I cant thank you guys enough for helping me with my GT. What I thought was just needing a tune turned into some more. There was no pressure and we agreed on what needed to be done and they were in full communication with me every step of the job. I wanna start by saying that Joe is extremely knowledgable and that he seems like a very nice guy.However, Im rating two stars because every single time that I had work done here, I ended up having to get a second mechanic to complete the job afterwards. I just felt like they were trying to get the job done as fast as possible and cut some corners in the process.On my first trip they replaced front end components (control arms, ball joints, and tie rod ends) and forgot to do an alignment. No big deal.On my second trip they forgot to install a couple of the parts that I had left for them in the trunk. Again, forgetful but not really a huge deal.The last time I went there was really what did it for me. I had them do some transmission work, and I got my car back a complete mess. I mean, oil on just about every single surface of the interior and exterior. Again thats fine, its a mechanic shop not a detailer I get it. However, I also experienced a clunking noise that developed on my drive home. Rather than go back to Mustang Magic again, I had a second mechanic look at my car. He told me that an unnecessary spacer was added to the driveshaft, and some of the bolts were not even torqued. I mean, thats a huge safety issue.I think this shop has the potential to be one of the best places to bring your Mustang, I just think they need to take on less clients and pay more attention to each individual car.

My wife bought me ford racing camshafts for my 2007 mustang gt and had mustang magic install them for my birthday. I was very surprised to show up there to drop my car off to balloons, a t shirt, and other things for my bday from them. Very nice people and really went out of their way to make my birthday feel special. Work was outstanding, fast turn around, great price and just an awesome experience. Joe gave me a tour of the place since it was my first time there and went over my car and the best way to do things and what parts to do for what I was looking for. Called while work was being done to go over a couple of things about my car. Great shop, great people and will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended.

I was very impressed with my numbers and the car now runs like a dream!!! I live in Pa 130 miles away but still wouldn’t go anywhere else ever again. Its hard finding a shop thats honest, straight forward with you and does amazing work with great prices, mustang magic is all of that. Yes! Mustang Magic is the best mustang shop. They help me finish my v6 twin turbo project and it works excellent! I feel like I am driving a new car. I remember the very first time when I visit, they show me my problem on O2 sensors and give me suggestion on how to fix it. Due to the fact that my car is heavily modified, the average corner garage is not the place to go. Joe and his expert techs straightened out every issue my car had. After a dyno tune, suspension upgrades and a few other part changes my car runs and rides awesome. I couldn’t be happier. These guys really know their way around modded Mustangs. This place is great. I brought my f150 here just for a tune after an engine swap and twin turbo setup. After calling countless other shops, this was the only one willing to do the tune for me. They were very thorough and made sure I had all the kinks worked out of my truck before I came in for the actual tune so no time was wasted on the dyno. The owner Joe and the tuner there are both very knowledgeable and are just good people which is a rare combination in this industry. Really the whole staff is great and very friendly. This was the final step in a two year long project I was working on and I was very happy with the results. Thank you guys.

Quick backstory: I lowered my car on springs in August 2019 and also got steeda parts installed by a performance shop local to me 6 months ago. Since that “performance shop” installed adjustable camber arms, subframe bushing, lowering springs and an alignment. Since then my car has been having drive ability issues and every time I would go back to them they would “fix” it and again it would happen within 2 days. The issue I was having with my car is it feeling loose In the rear end and swayying issues. The shop local to me put my rear springs In backwards and also the camber arms had excessive amount of washers which was causing the left rear wheel to be loose because they didn’t use the proper hardware..So i Came on Saturday to mustang Magic hoping it was worth the trip and it was 100% worth the trip. They took good care of me and my vehicle made sure I was comfortable with all of their work and explained what they found was wrong. They found many suspension issues that the other “performance shop” caused on my car and Mustang Magic fixed the issues on my car and the. Took me for a test drive. Everything feels 100% how it should and I’m very happy I took the trip there. Affordable pricing, very respectful, if you want quality work on your car and not cheap work then take it to Mustang Magic.

Ive been having issues with my 2004 Cobra for a bit over 2 years. Other performance shops werent able to help me. I got my appointment within 2 days of calling. My car has never run better! Joe and his staff are great people, and I will be back for more upgrades!

(From 2021): Two years and a few thousand miles later, I returned from out-of-state to get new tires and brakes installed. The workshop felt like home. Parts been hard to acquire but AJ worked with me fervently to make sure everything was in order. At the shop, it was discovered that the brakes I had ordered online didnt have hooks on them. LJ quickly improvised and fixed the problem, explaining everything along the way. The work took much less time than I had originally envisioned. I am grateful to LJ, Ron, Alejandro, and Dave for all their work on the car. I will reiterate what I said two years ago: these guys are Mustang experts, and this is not a job but rather a calling for them. My car got more personalized attention and care than any other place Ive ever had to go to. The staff are all very friendly, and their honesty and professionalism is unrivaled. I simply wouldnt think of taking my car anywhere else. If you have a car you care about, just take it to Mustang Magic. If you have a Mustang, you really really should NOT be going elsewhere.(From 2019): I needed a replacement of rear and front brake pads and the rear rotors. Joe and his staff were very friendly, and took care of it. They welcomed me on a busy day for them and explained everything. Joe was very patient and considerate, and understood my initial hesitation in getting something major done on my car and was willing to accommodate me in a later visit (which I am glad I didnt wait for). Their workshop feels like home, and you can tell that the staff is extremely professional and consists of Mustang experts. The personal attention given is impeccable, as is the transparency. Their charges are very reasonable. As someone who deeply values this, I can confidently assert that their staff really loves working on Mustangs and this is more of a calling for these guys than a job. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable at what they do. after the tune and dyno I ask if they could swap out my gears and they were able to do that right on the spot as well. I understand how hard it is to make a buck now-a-days because Im an active duty veteran. I called the owner Joe and asked him to email me a custom tune performed by his shop. The owner Joe, wants to charge $100 to send a simple email with a Tune attachment because he has to make a mechanic stop working to send an email. Damn, I really cant believe that was the response I got. So, while Im out fighting for Joes freedom, my vehicle that HE custom tuned, will be sitting in a garage un-drivable because Joe needs to make a buck. Avoid this place at all costs!

Had a pleasant experience with MUSTANG MAGIC. Drove from Bayside, Queens to Deer Park LI without an appointment. When I got there it was extremely busy and was told I might have to come back. After explaining the situation with my Mustang, LJ went out of his way including Jose to accommodate me by putting the car on the lift and fixing the problem. LJ and Jose are definitely an asset to the company. The 60 mile drive there and back was worth it. I highly recommend MM to all Mustang owners and other muscle/classic car owners.
