Treated the fence construction as an art, not simply a fence. They took time and effort to make the fence flow with the terrain and landscaping. Results were impressive! Their price was fair and their workers were polite, hard working, and timely. Would use them again with no hesitation.

If you are looking for a professional company that is honest and respect your time and property then this company is not it. When Conrad the salesman came to my property I explicitly told him that I have sprinkler lines running underground and they need to be mindful of that. He assured me it wont be an issue as they dig by hand. During the time of install, I explicitly told the workers where the sprinkler lines were and had them marked out. But as you can clearly see from the photo, the workers did not care for it and installed a post directly over it, completely damaging the line. Accidents happened so I reached out to the company to have this addressed. They sent the same workers to have a look. They did such a terrible hack job that didnt even last 10 minutes after they left. I immediately reached out to Conrad and then to the company to have the issued addressed. After months of no response to my inquiries (my front lawn died during that time) they finally transferred me to Catherine the supervisor. She absolutely had no shame in telling me to hire a sprinkler company as they are not responsible for the damages. Thats right, they can damage your property, intentionally or otherwise, and will tell you they are not responsible for it because thats what it stays on their sketchy work order. If you are expecting a good faith effort from their part to do the right thing, then dont hold your breath. Homeowners need to be aware that damage to underground utilities can be extremely costly. This was a relatively simple fix but if it was something more labor intensive like a sewer or water line, then it would have cost several thousand dollars in repairs. If it was a gas line then the cost and fines would have been astronomical. No homeowner wants to go through that. Some damages arent apparent right away. It may take weeks or months to show. Dont normally write negative reviews but Catherine was fine with it so here it is! Prospective customers should be mindful of this companys business practice so they can make an informed decision. I recently had a fence and two gates installed on my property. Mike, our salesman was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. This was a big job and I had many questions and even a few last minute changes. Mike always responded to all my calls and text messages quickly. After the install, I needed a minor adjustment and Jerry was very helpful with that. I appreciate everyone I worked with at All Island Fence and I am very satisfied with the job they did. I recently had a small job done to enclose my outdoor shower. The sales person was quick and timely and I even asked if he could give my neighbors an estimate (2 jobs from one call).When the guys came to install they were on time and were here most of the day. When completed I looked at the enclosure, which appeared fine, a little dirty but otherwise all good. What I did not see was that the debris from digging(dirt and concrete) the holes for the poles was dumped in my flower bed.At first, customer service replied quickly asking me to send pictures, which I did. After, I spent almost 3 weeks leaving messages and receiving a few returned messages. When I finally spoke with Jessica, she stated that she did not know what conversations I had with the guys working, I assured her I would not have instructed them to dump stuff in my flower bed. She put me a hold stating she was speaking to a manager. The solution that was offered was the company could send someone, however, I would be charged for them to clean up the mess they left. When I asked to speak to the supervision she just spoke to, I was told she was not available but would call me back.Jen, called me the next day, offered to schedule for someone to come to my home and said I would be charged for it. I expressed that this was not a acceptable solution, her response was, I offered you a solution, you just dont like it. I asked to speak to someone above her, she said there was no one that she was it. I am extremely disappointed with the custom service and would not recommend this company to anyone.

All island was a good company. They left my wife and I satisfied with he work they done. I would of given 5 stars. But the wait time for something to get done is 4-6weeks out which was pretty unclear to me from the deposit. But like I said the work and overall experience using them is definitely worth the wait and Im glad I used them.

We had them do two projects for us. 1st was in 2018 fencing in the front yard with 2 gates, 2nd was fence replacement after damage from a storm. One of the gates was installed into panels that were not leveled. We spoke with the workers when they installed it but the man insisted that it was just the tilt of the land. That one gate NEVER closed. I’ve called the company multiple times a year, every year since. They send Brian out once a year to readjust the gate and it will close for that 1 day out of the year. I’ve spoken to Brian every time he’s here and it’s the same run around. It’s the springs, it’s the hinge, it’s normal. Really? The other gate works fine, this one, wide open with every single light wind. Even worst, this is the gate that is suppose to secure our pool and it is wide open 364 days a year except the day Brian is here! Don’t waste your money and save yourself the headache, go somewhere else where they stand by their work.Update: so calling and emailing photos for 2 years only got me “annual adjustments”. Reviews online with photos just got me a call saying that they would “look at the posts”. Maybe I should set up a camera and post videos of the neighborhood kids who have been running in willy nilly to play with the water?

Both my vinyl gate and chain link gates do not open and close correctly. I have asked several times for them to adjust/fix them. The girls in the office are extremely rude and do not care about the customer after you pay. My vinyl gates have been up several years and they still have not bothered to fix the gates properly. The girl in the office actually told me she didn’t care that I was putting in a complaint to consumer affairs and next will be small claims court. I tried to reach out to the owner and still no response. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I had no problems at all with my experience. Mike, the salesman, was knowledgeable, efficient, and polite with me. He called once to see how I was doing in my comparison shopping and to find out if I had made any decisions. He also sent a letter thanking me for the opportunity for him to present his bid, which was several hundred dollars less than the four or five other companies I received. Another Mike, who helped me to set up a date for installation, was also fine to work with. He told me that their workers would show up on February 22nd between 12-2 pm, and they showed up at 1:28. Ramon, their supervisor, was pleasant and helpful in answering my questions about some stumps I had where the fence was going up.The whole installation lasted until 4:15, so it took about 2 hours and 47 minutes. They were able to put the fence in behind one tree stump, and the other they pulverized to mere wood chips. The only negative thing I can say is that the workers could have removed more of the tree stump remains, which I raked up. However, that is the only negative thing I have to say.Mike, the salesman, told me that I could charge the deposit, but if I used my credit card for the balance that there would be a fee tacked on to do that. I opted to write a check to save about $24.00, but I was glad I was informed of the charge in advance.Before making my final decision on which company to choose, I will say I read some negative and positive reviews on All Island Fencing and Railing, but I discovered that all the companies I read up on had the same types of comments. For every 5, there was a 1 rating. I luckily had no problems, and I would recommend them based on my experience.

I am very disappointed in the services I was provided. After the fence was installed I expressed my concern about the gate not being level. I had mentioned it to the contractor when they finish the installation. I was told they could not do anything about it. I followed up with an email to request for the gate to be fixed be altered told I would have to pay an additional cost by the contractor. I was later told by the contractor that if my husband was so concern about the gate not being leveled let him fix it. I had referred a few friends before I had my fence installed. I later told them to run to the hills.

Update:Received call from sales manager, site supervisor came out, still haven’t reached a resolution. Site supervisor made it seem like it’s my fault they measured incorrectly and made a mistake.Horrible company. Installed my fence incorrectly not on property line and now I have an issue with my neighbor. Failed to acknowledge or take responsibility and don’t have time. They don’t prioritize their customers and care about the money. The office staff is rude and lack respect for their customers. Great experience! The team was very efficient and had my back fence replaced within 4 hours. Everyone was very nice, professional, and responsive. Very quick turnaround time from gettting and estimate to install.

Price was great and the fence was installed when they said it would be. Unfortunately they mis measured for the gates twice so they had to come 3 times before they got it eight, and one of the gates is still slightly bigger than it should be. The installers also took it upon themselves to dig up one of the pieces of my slate walkway, without saying anything to me about it at all, so they could set the slate lower in the ground so the one gate could open. That resulted in a few hours worth of work after they were gone of me resetting that slate and adjusting all the others so they were level. I should’ve held money back but I just wanted them gone at that point.

I had a fence installed along my property & one single gate and one double gate, the double gate has never closed properly and when calling the office to have things corrected, such as gates, building liability certificates, they are very rude Jessica Fischetto to be exact. I am asking that everyone PLEASE choose wisely when using any company. I will not be using this company again after my final installation of railing & gate adjustments. UNEXCEPTABLE.

I used them for our PVC fencing and couldn’t have been happier. We used them again recently for an aluminum fence around our pool steps and am not as satisfied as I was with the previous install.The workers who arrived cut my pool cover line, didn’t tell me, and the next day half my pool cover was floating in the pool.I now have to replace the cover which is an inconvenience and an unexpected expense.The sales dept, especially Mike, was exceptional.

This has to be one of the worst companies Ive ever dealt with. -5 stars would be appropriate.BEWARE! This company will not stand by their natural (wood) products. Supposedly this is written in their contract. Of course this was never stated during the sales process otherwise I would have never dealt with such a shady companyMy woes began back in October 2016 when I had a major wood fence installation performed. I spent over 6k having a combo of stockade and cedar fence installed.Ive had nothing but problems with one Cedar fence section. Three weeks after install the cedar gate wouldnt close and the wood railing in back of the gate came loose. In addition I noticed a gap in one of the panels.Initially All Island instead of replacing the gate wanted to put an aluminum brace in back of it. Really? Eventually the gate began to warp and All Island replaced it.Now I have a major problem. The posts are starting to warp and twist. In addition the gate they replaced is now warped again. Hoping All Island would fix the issue instead I was told the wood is not covered under warranty and they would have to charge me to fix it!!What kind of company operates this way? This is a 8 month old fence and they are not going to back their work!

Mr. Robert Lundy, a true gentleman, led me through the process of removing an old fence and planning a new, vinyl fence. Mr. Lundy was always very accessible and made several on site visits to smoothe the project. I would definitely have this company put in a fence for me.

I had a Fence installed and months later I added 2 gates. The installation was quick and clean and looked great. Many months after installation i found that my escape artist dog was able to go underneath one of the gates, i sent pictures and they came and adjusted to make it escape proof. Thank You

Everything looks good but I thought one of the gates wasn’t going to have so much lapse in space on the top and bottom. It wasn’t explained to me specifically like that. Also the guys did a terrible job cleaning up and they dumped all left over cement and rocks on the side of my garage which still hasn’t been cleaned up to look as it did before. I’ve used all island for all my previous fencing and I wasn’t completely satisfied this time which will make me question using the company again

Although the fence is fine, were not too happy with 1) the mis-measurement and poor math skills of Michelle...which caused the cost of our fence to increase exorbitantly;2) the amount of sand/dirt left in our yard that we now have to pay to have removed; and 3) we were told in Michelles presentation that no concrete/cement would be used, and yet the workers (who were all very nice, btw) were mixing something that resembled cement and left a big patch of it in the middle of our yard, which we had to clean up.

I would not recommend this fence company anymore to anyone. This was a recommendation from a supervisor and I thought after 3 other fence quotes this one was the best price and of course same experience like everyone they want you to sign that same day or the price is jacked up and thats just business, but unfortunately it cost me alot more money because of the unprofessional installers they hire. I just hope this doesnt happen to anyone. After the installation which was fast my main sewer line backed up in my house which Never did before in the time of lived at my house and it was strange to me but I did not think anything of it so I hired a plumber and I got it unclogged thinking it was the end of it. Little did I know it would keep clogging and water and waste would back up into my basement causing a hazardous condition and not to mention damage to my rug and appliances that I had to hire the plumber to make an emergency repair which I had to wait for a couple of days due to snowstorm to start the work costing me over $4000 plus concrete work to repair a section of my driveway and backyard due to excavation which cost me another $ 2800 all due to the unprofessional installation of a post that their installers did by damaging my main sewage pipe with the fence post. Im currently working to resolve this I just hope nobody has to ever go through this. I will update my review and progress as this case gets resolved.UPDATE: Unfortunately this Company disappoints even more based on the quality of the material used for the vinyl fence panels. I got the installation done in mid October 2020 and a couple snowstorms later that occurred this month Feb 2021 only 4 MONTHS later I already have 2 fence panels that broke off and dislodged and 1 that broke from the bottom and came off. I completely regret ever hiring this company.

The woman came to give an estimate was very nice. I was given a fair price for the work that needed to be done. Sections of fence in three different areas six foot, five foot and three foot. The guys that came to install the fence were nice, but talking to the lead man about spacing the fence according to my survey, he didnt know how to read it. I explained it to him but I guess something got lost in the conservation. The three foot sections of fence was installed to far in from my properity line, which took away from a garden area we were planning. Another thing I said to the lead man was I wanted the fences to be level, and up from the ground so it didnt get destroyed form the landscapers. The four foot sections was off level and close to the ground. They did come back and leveled the fence, but there was nothing they could for the height off the ground or the lost space from my properity line. The five foot section was done perfect. The six foot sections needed to put in between two existing fences. I told them I wanted it level, even if it meant adjusting the cut outs on the existing fences. They were also not level, but not to bad, I let it go also. I also told the lead man that there were possible in ground sprinklers and sewer lines where the fences were going, so he needed to be careful, he went through a line while digging. He did repair it. All in all not a bad job, just a lack of communication with the workers.

Made appointment 3 weeks ago for today at 10:30am. They were suppose to come today to give an estimates for a fence. Never showed up. I called they apologized and said they’d have someone out to me this afternoon at 2pm. 3:35 still no one. I called them again. If they can’t handle the simple task of keeping appointments how can I possibly feel comfortable with them installing a fence. Totally unprofessional. I won’t use them.

Wonderful experience! In home estimate came in much more competitive than 2 other companies I looked at. From the day of the estimate to installation it was only a week! My 6 ft privacy PVC fence install was done in January (winter pricing). Manuel, the install lead was amazing! The fence looks perfect and the work was completed in one day. Cleanup was wonderful! The entire process was so smooth. I will update on the quality after several months, but I have a feeling there wont be any issues.

Island fencing reinstalled a gate post and rehung a 6ft gate that need to be removed for construction. The post was installed on one day. The concrete was allowed to cure and the gate was rehung 2 days later. The installers came back to make sure that the gates were properly adjusted so the open rings were even.

All Island installed my new PVC fence around my property. I cant give them enough praise. They showed up on time and worked diligently. The crew was professional and meticulous. We ran into a few property line issues which we solved together. I would not hesitate to recommend them. If you want quality and good workmanship give them a call.

Overpriced and unprofessional ! So-called lifetime warranty is not transferable if you sell the house. I went into the store to purchase a gate for a deck. I was quoted $250 for a deck gate but they did not have any pictures to show me or floor sample.I was told the person in charge of this would speak to me in a minute. I waited 15 minutes and nobody came out to speak to me. I left and called the store and was told that they would not discuss anything over the phone. I do not recommend using this company at all!RESPONSE TO RYAN:Regardless of my budget I am still entitled to my opinion that your service and product is overpriced. I can afford the $250 for a gate. $600 to install the gate is completely unreasonable & overpriced. However, what I found unprofessional, besides your response, was not even having a picture of the gate or a floor model . I am well aware of the social distancing requirements and had no problem waiting. My bigger issue is your warranty policy. Most warranties are transferable. I just had a new roof installed on my house from Lowe’s and the warranty is transferable if I sell the home. Regardless of the name on the property your company installed this fence. If the fence fails it fails, the change in homeowner should be irrelevant . If I bought a car that was one year old with 20,000 miles on it the three-year 36,000 mile warranty is still in effect.

I have used All Island Fence for two decent sized jobs at my home over the past 5 years. Both times I worked with Bob L, who was an absolute pleasure. There is ZERO pressure to buy, but a thorough knowledge set and all options are laid out. In several instances, Bob made suggestions that saved me money. Not only did they come in with a great price, but when I had some damage occur, they came and fixed it quickly without question. This is a company that I will continue to use and recommend.

I agree with the below reviewer about the best material/warranty being useless when an issue arises. They can blame any issues as an owner error, misuse or act of nature to avoid being accountable for the repairs. My husband and I spent over $11,000 on a new PVC fence installation in May. There was a section of fence that was spaced differently by a few inches from the rest of the fence around the home. When a storm hit in August, that one section of fence buckled completely in the wind (which we were told by the salesman wouldn’t happen because their fences don’t buckle and we’re high quality unlike Home Depot fences). We were also told they have a lifetime warrantee on PVC materials and a 5 year workmanship warranty in case we ever had an issue (except that they can argue any issue into being void of the warranty). 6 posts completely bent at the bottom taking down 7 panels of fence. Not a single other area of our huge fence was damaged at all, just this one spot where we saw the measurement difference, which of course we can’t prove to be the reason. We figured that the fence was brand new and we had the warranty so they’d just come out and fix it. We were wrong. It took a little while for someone to come and take a look at it and the job supervisor didn’t agree with us said it was solely wind related and that we would have to pay more to repair our brand new $11,000+ investment. We were told to contact the manager to see if she could honor the warrantee since it wasn’t up to him (the supervisor who visited the property). The manager said that the decision was up to the job supervisor who had come to our house and not her and that he wasn’t budging on the repair cost. She then said maybe they’d be open to finding a cost compromise and meeting somewhere in the middle on the repair and that she’d check with the job supervisor and let me know the next week. After multiple calls to follow up had gone unanswered, we finally reached them again and were told the repair cost was firm and they weren’t budging and that we could contact BBB. I’m so disappointed about how this was handled and how they responded to us. $11,000+ is a lot of money to spend on a fence and we’ve had this less than 3.5 months and now have to invest more to fix it because they refuse to consider that the measurement discrepancy in this area could also be to blame for the buckling of the fence. Anyone who walks by our property and asks us about our fence is curious what the company was going to do because they couldn’t believe how the one section of this brand new fence just crumbled (no trees or branches or anything fell on it) and they also assumed the company would just come back and fix it for us. I unfortunately don’t recommend them unless you are prepared to cover any issue you have with your fence yourself. We are now left still trying to figure out how to get this fixed.

I am delighted with my new PVC fence. From start to finish everyone at All Island Fence and Railing was very professional. The salesman who came to my home took his time explaining my many options, showed me samples and helped me select the fence best for my needs. The installers arrived at my home at the scheduled time, installed the fence in just one day and completely cleaned up my property before they left. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new fence.

Second time I’ve used this company. They are all very respectful and professional from the people who answer the phones to the people that come to your house. Good price. Great quality they get the job done real fast. I’ve had my side fence with gate in driveway and now I’ve done the back fence atleast total of 130-140 feet of fence. My neighbor used them as well I would def recommend them to anyone.

These guys did a great job. Start to finish on a full fence in less than a day and were really accommodating to any request. Since installation its been a few really windy days and the fence looks as good as ever. I would definitely recommend All Island for your fencing needs.

This company is a joke. They provided me with the wrong size gate and then stated it is their company policy to not accept any returns and that I would have to pay for a new gate in full. I even offered to pay the price difference and return the original even though it was their mistake. The gate was still wrapped and kept indoors during the time I had it in my possession. I will take my business elsewhere, incredibly unprofessional.

I was recommended to All Island Fence by a friend and they by far exceeded all my expectations. Bob was wonderful he answered all my questions prior to starting the work. I was very happy with the work that was done and the workers were very professional. All around my property looks absolutely beautiful and i have no complaints. I would recommend them to anyone that is in need of fencing.

We had a wonderful experience with All Island Fence & Railing. We recently bought our house and the railing on the back steps was not completed. I needed to get ankle surgery and had to have it finished before my surgery. I thought for sure that it would be a waste of time since it wasn’t a “big” project. I was assured by Bob that no job was too small and that they took each job seriously.Well, we were very impressed with the outcome. Our railings look beautiful and was completed before my surgery. We will be using them in a year or two when we are ready to replace our fence in the backyard.

Just had a 6ft PVC fence and a railing for my front steps put up yesterday and I could not be more happy with the results. The crew was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. One side of my yard slopes down toward the street and the crew on site explained my options with me and made sure I was happy with it before they locked it all into place. They were very careful with all the dirt they removed during the process and when they finished they took all of the dirt and went around the entire perimeter of the yard to fill the gaps so my dogs couldn’t get out. Once the job was completely done they were meticulous with clean up. They wiped down the entire fence and railing and made sure that everything was picked up and left the way they found it. I cannot day enough positive things about All Island Fence. If you’re “on the fence” about using them don’t be. They were fantastic start to finish. I will absolutely be recommending them to anyone that is in the market.

All Island Fence & Railing just installed a Key-Link Railing system at my home. I am very happy with the way the project came out. Sales Associate Michael Gelbaum was very professional and the installers were prompt, clean and did a great job. They even came back to swap out our post cap selection without a hassle, delay or fee. Overall a great experience.

Super friendly sales rep and staff. We only needed a gate and a little over a foot of fencing installed. They were done and had everything cleaned up in a few hours.You can tell they really care about the work they do which is always appreciated.

WOW...... I had my fence installed by them and needed help removing ONE post and 2 panels so Machinery can fit through my backyard so I can have my cess pool replaced and they had the nerve to tell me $600 is the min they have to charge to come out are you freaking kidding me how much is a new post 40 bucks is it really that much work to take ONE POST out and put one back in.... if I knew this I would of never given them my business over 10k I spent on my fence and they can’t even do the right thing to try and help me...then they have the nerve to tell me it would be about 6 weeks before they can come!!! Ok let me tell my My collapsed septic tank to not overflow anymore for six weeks until they are able to remove the fence .....how long would it take them to remove one post 10 min you have to be kidding me

Too be fair, their price is some what competitive and warranty sound very good on paper, I had overall great experience until below incident. Originally my google review was 5 star but we had to re-value our review after below experience.We had our fence installed back in 2015, however one of door hinge was not installed properly as they only put 4 screw out of 8 screw on both of L shape Hinge( 4 screw were on the left side of the L but nothing on the bottom of L ). This resulted the gate door became lose and fell off. I called and request a repair job as part of their promised installation warranty they offered at the time of the sale, but sales manager Ryan refused and wanted to charge $600 to replace the single door post (my whole fence job costed 1.8k with 2 doors). after explanation of what happen in more detail, he came back and offered $100 to tighten the screw back on. he said this is not part of warranty and the damage is resulted by wear and tear.I can understand the wear and tear rule if all were installed properly. however this was simply a poor installation job, you cant expect a hinge to last if all screws were not install from the beginning, weight on the door is just too much!! Simply put they lost me as a customer for future fence project.

These people are first rate when it comes to vinyl fencing. They ran 75 feet of 6 foot high fence in 30 degree temps in 3 hours flat. Bob Lundy did the estimate and the installation fellows were terrific too. Highly recommend this Company

Had our fence installed 2 weeks ago and it was the quickest and easiest process ever. From Mike to the installers not one issue. Crew took care of questions and concerns with our neighbor who have been using our property without our consent for years. All island fence was respectful to them but delivered what we wanted ... a clear line of what is our property and theirs - plus a big safe play area for our dog. I would highly recommend All Island!!!

I am very pleased with everything from sales, to installation to post installation. They were honest setting expectation every step of the way. They made good on a small issue immediately without any fuss. The price was on-market so no complaint there. Communication was also excellent from the sales person, to foreman, to the guys on site installing.

Unfortunately my previously good experience with this company was tarnished with my most recent experience. The same sales representative who sold me a fence for my business, came to quote my home fence. The price was good. However, I was pushed in to the financing option. I was told it was a line of credit with year to pay in full with 0% interest (same as my business purchase which I made 2 large payments within the year). In actuality, it was a retail CREDIT CARD that required monthly payments with HUGE fees and hit my credit HARD. When I called the sales representative I was told We were not trained on the new financing protocol. This is new to us, I thought it was the same as your last purchase with us. How can a company push something they no NOTHING about? When I called to speak with a manager I was told there was nothing they can do about the negative effects on my credit score. I was stuck with the retail card in a dismissive way. I get that I should have insisted on reading all the small print, but when someone who has worked with you in the past assures you something and does all the leg work (submitting application) you just go with it. I guess I was naive to think they had the customers best interest in mind... needless to say Ill be using a different company for my new business location.

I had All Island at my home a few weeks ago for a small job, I was impressed with their professionalism and he standard of the work they did. They just left my home after doing a much larger job. Again the crew was great, they did a wonderful job, spoke to me through out the job to let me know how they were going about each aspect of the job. They took extra care when working near my flower beds. They did an exceptional job doing the clean up. I highly recommend All Island Fenced. 5 STARS.

I was referred to All Island Fence and Railing by a friend of mine who gave me a heads up that Bob is a great guy and a perfect Gentleman.Well that was proven as soon as I met Bob.This fence that was installed by All Island Fence & Railing and Is being paid for by a fundraiser I am orchestrating (F&AM).I had three price quotes that we could not afford. Then I met Bob and his heart was touched by what we are doing at this small cemetery in Babylon NY that holds Military men who served in WW1 and WW2 and their children, including 13 children.I can’t believe the price he gave us. To top it off the installers did a wonderful job, going over and above I could ever imagine.They dealt with obstructions that I thought would be a problem but they trooped through it all. The fence is sturdy and looks amazing.It is far and few between that a job goes so sweet.Allison and everyone in the office was also a pleasure with all the administrating aspect of the job.This company is highly recommended to all residential and commercial.AAAA Plus!!ASK FOR BOB.
