Rude people work here, in August of 2021 still telling people they must wear a mask in their store. Lady that insisted I wear a mask was not even wearing hers over her nose so what good is her mask? If she was truly worried about me you would think she would protect herself by putting her mask on correctly. I have decided to add all the actual events that have now finally made me decide to NEVER buy from this store again. My wife always goes to Wizzard Liquor and I convinced her a few months back to go try Ralston. She loves Wizzard Liquor because they are so friendly and act like you are their best friend and that they appreciate you. Their prices are a bit higher and I am more about saving money. My wife went there with our 18 year old daughter and they made my daughter leave and stand outside stating it was TEXAS LAW. These people make laws up because she was accompanied by an adult. A minor can drink alcohol of in view of a parent and can actually serve alcohol in Texas. . A minor may not enter the premises of a package store unless accompanied by an adult parent, spouse or guardian. Here is a copy of the law. Another incident that happened at this store about a year ago was I went in drinking an energy drink and the same rude heavy set lady told me I could not come in with any drinks and it was Texas Law. Really??!! If you like being treated rudely and let them make up laws then go there. I will take my 2k to 3k yearly business somewhere else for now on and I recommend others do the same unless they like rude people.

The lady that actually rung up our purchase was wonderful, however the heavy set lady that was stocking the display case was incredibly rude and unprofessional. After shopping around for a few minutes she asked if we (me my older sister and my gf) had our ids to which we all responded “of course!”. No big deal. Then she continued to watch us walk all over the store (looking for bar supplies). When we got to the counter to ask if they had shakers the woman stocking the display very rudely shouted to the lady taking care of us “you need to ID all three of them” to which we all presented our identification. I let her know next time we’d like to shop in peace so which she yelled ITS MY JOB.Like okay we all are tabc certified as well as have bartending experience I know you cannot sell to minors and that you should id anyone who looks suspicious, however we were simply minding our business, let her know multiple times that we had our IDs and she continues to harass us. My sister was trying to stock her home with supplies but after being harassed multiple times by this woman we just got the one bottle we already picked and left. Definitely lost a big sale and THREE future customers. What terrible service. Will never return. Judging by this review section your business is going to die with that lady tainting the environment 🤮

Always a well stocked place with friendly employees working. If you have a question, they are happy to answer without a problem. There are no stupid questions in their eyes, so they will answer all. 🙂

Still enforcing masks.(4/20/21) First Sip Liquor by Chilis and Brewingz is better priced and no enforcing masks.

After reading some negative comments, the heavy set woman was very rude and disrespectful. I can confirm that. She is extremely rude and we will NOT be going back. We were loyal to that place for quite some time. They need to replace her. Seems like others agree.

This place is awesome!!! The people that work there are always nice and friendly. And for a small town liquor store the prices are very reasonable if not right on par with the big guys. If you live in the Deer Park/ La Porte area you should definitely make this your go to stop for BooZe 😂

Your heavy set girl that works the counter is rude as can be.. Has a sense of higher than thow. You lost my business. Ill go to first sip for now on.

The first time I had been in this store they had a young man that was very nice and helpful but..... on all my return visits (5×) there was a heavy set woman behind the counter that could not be anymore rude she never looks pleased that we walk in the store the last time we were going in she met us at the door at 30min before the store was closed and she told us we couldnt come in that they were closed I will definitely not ever step foot in this store again!!

The best liquor store around!! manager Jolyn is so sweet and her cashiers as well. Store is so clean, prices are great, staff are the best. Will definitely be back! 👍

I like the store.it is convenient, fair to better prices and the clerks are nice. The one and only complaint is the woman who sits behind the counter and appears to be absolutely miserable. Never a hello, thank you or kiss my behind. And what she dies say is dude.

Lady who doesnt know the law but claims she does,proof of identification could be a drivers license or identification card issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety, a United States passport, a military identification card, or any other photo ID issued by a state or the federal government.So a store, bar or restaurant can sell alcohol to a person with an out-of-state drivers license, military ID, or passport – or with no ID at all. Whats acceptable in any establishment is a matter of that establishments private business policies.Lady you are wrong if its store policy thats fine say so. Dont say its Texas law though. Also the S in Illinois is silent. Its not illinoise

Fantastic Service.Was trying to find some Crown Peach, at a competitor in La Porte, guy screamed at me. I left and came here. They had 6 cases of the stuff. Bought my bottle, was cheaper here anyways other guy was a rip-off. This will be my go to from now on!

Ralstons liquor store is awesome great prices and the people behind the counter are very nice very good experience go there all the time

LOOOOOVE this place, their weekend deals rock, they dont have a huge selection, but they do have items you cant find at Specs, like Vikingfjord Vodka! Their prices are outstanding, sure there are some things you can find cheaper elsewhere, but if you hit them up on a weekend, stock up! Wife gets all bent out of shape when I come here, shes knows Im gonna get stupid

This place knows what customer service means! Unlike the 5 stores I called before them whom would not go look in the store to see if they had what I needed,moreless speak ENGLISH! Ralstons employee not only knew what I needed knew if they had it in the store,the sizes it came in, and the prices! They are very easy to understand too! Thank You Ralston #32!

Just stopping by my neighborhood Ralston Liquor store the district manager was there she very rude nasty attitude. A thot ...She should really take some point from her staffs- the staff is always pleasant if it wasn’t for her I would have given the store 4 one person want they do it. And she’s the district manager... 😞

I have been a Ralstons customer at the Deer Park Ralstons for over 20 years and this afternoon when waiting in line to make my purchase a man came along the sidewalk in front of the store with his middle finger up and yelling vulgar rude things directed at the store and pulling slowly in the the parking lot was a white truck with the former manager in the passanger seat glaring into the store. I know this former manager and always thought highly of her she always appeared to be a respectful person until today. I am shocked and her actions are disgraceful not to Ralstons or their wonderful employees but to the individuals whom think it is appropriate to act in this manner. This lady and her sidekick should be ashamed. This liquor store is the best liquor store in this area the have great prices and varieties the store is spotless and always smells clean. This store has never looked so good and the new manager and cashiers are friendly and professional. Great job Ralstons!!
