We recently purchased a mattress set and a dining room set from this location. Our salesman Ira was very friendly and knowledgeable. When our furniture was delivered 4 out of the 6 chairs were wobbly. The mattress had a dirty shoe print on it. The customer service is horrible. They never answer the phone. I would advise you to make your purchase elsewhere. Its been two days since they delivered the furniture and no one has called us or responded to our email.

Barbara Graff in Guest Relations is AMAZING. I ordered furniture that did not fit in the intended space, went to the store and selected something else. There was a few snags in the system I was in there twice and Barbara took the time to resolve all the behind the scenes issues with a smile on her face and it was a bit time consuming for her. But none the less she made me feel as if I mattered, she followed up with phone calls to me to ensure that I knew the outcome. Barbara went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy camper. If I could give her more stars I would.The sales reps that I worked with were not pushy and did their best to accommodate what I wanted without pressure. The initial selection was for the basement which I had measured to make sure it fit in the space, I didnt realize I needed to measure the landing of the wall to floor of the basement. Even though I told the first rep it was going in a basement perhaps he didnt realize to mention that or didnt know. When I returned to the store and explained my issue to the next salesman Ira he suggested I get reclining furniture which normally the backs come off and accommodate tight spaces. Yeah for me, the furniture is beautiful and in the basement. Hats off to Barbara :-) Thanks to Ira and other rep. I recommend shopping there my experience was filled with blessings and I absolutely love the purchase.S. Dixon

He answered all of our questions and was just as patient an hour later as he was in the very first minute. Thank you mark! This was the 5th furniture store I went to and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did they have all four couches I was interested IN STOCK!!! 🤯 but they also had the highest quality furniture along with the most unique pieces. Loved the huge selection of “one of a kind” pieces in the front of the store. Can’t wait to get my new couch, entertainment center and coffee table NEXT SATURDAY!! Friendly helpful service! Love this store. Only place I’ll go from now on.

We went to The Dump for the first time and were so impressed with the quality of high end inventory and even more so with the service. Within about 5-8 minutes Ira came up and simply asked how we are doing and if weve ever been in the store. He then talked to us about many things like the area we live, golf, children and a number of things in addition to the piece of furniture we were at that time contemplating. Within 30 minutes we had decided to purchase the table and chairs we liked as well as an upgraded bed for one of our boys. We had a wonderful experience and its thanks to Ira for his time, attention and personal care. Thank you for the experience Ira, we will be back!

The service person was good. The delivery time wasnt. I ordered 4 mattresses. They said 1 was out of stock & it should be about a week, 2 at longest. No calls for updates. No one would give me info & my sales person wasnt in. I left msgs. No call backs. I called sales person to send what they had. Still waiting 2 more weeks & the last mattress still not here. Followup sucks. Customer service should be from start to finish. I shouldnt have to keep calling wondering when my stuff will be delivered. If it was going to take a long time they should have called the supplier to find out why then the customer to inform them of time frame.
Cool selection, helpful staff, especially Nancy Haynes. We were approached by Nancy after a few minutes of browsing. She wasnt pushy and told us she would be around if we needed assistance. We found an amazing dining room table after about 20 minutes of browsing. Nancy was there to assist us in securing the last table they had. We were then on the hunt for a recliner and sofa. Found something we liked but wanted to check out a few other stores. After traveling to Ashley, The Room Place and Macys, we headed back to The Dump. We found Nancy again who searched for a matching set that we were interested in and scheduled our delivery. I was surprised to find out that the Dump delivery on Sundays which was the best option for us. I really appreciated that Nancy wasnt your typical pushy sales person unlike at one of the other stores we visited. I was really impressed with their selection, the way the store was laid out and the prices. They also opened an hour earlier than other stores in the area. Ill definitely check out The Dump first next time I need furniture. Thanks for the assistance Nancy.

First day looking for a new mattress. Told the sales agent up front that this was our first date and no purchases today. Nancy the sales was informative and initially helped with our needs until she decided to call Jennifer who I guess was her manager. We told her we were just looking and she refused to accept why we werent willing to purchase today. Offered to give more money off, tax off, free gifts, finally she just walked away without saying anything. Totally unprofessional atmosphere and bush league! Talked to her manager who said he will notify corporate office. BEWARE OF USED CAR SALESMEN antics.

I was greeted nicely and told to look around and to come find him if I had any questions. I was happy with not being pressured. Everywhere we went that salesman was a few sofas away pretending not to watch us. I really didnt appreciate being followed like that. They have a lot to choose from. The prices are not that great.
I went to the Deerfield store. When I walked in, there was no one to greet me and ask what I was looking for. I had to walk around to find the mattresses. I looked at the mattresses and saw several salesmen, but they only seemed to be interested in servicing couples. I guess they think if couples come in together they are serious buyers and single women are just looking.
Zak did a fabulous job helping my 91 year old mom find an area rug and couch. He had a lot of patience as my mom was very specific about what she wanted. A big thank you for a very pleasant experience. Zak was very knowledgeable about what he was selling too🤪

Terrible customer service. Called to cancel online transaction as most of the items purchased were either out of stock or discontinued. Nobody answers the phone and they dont return voicemail. Texting is no help either as you only get a bot response. Wayfair has much cheaper prices anyway.. go there.
I ordered from them, and they promised to deliver the furniture to me on June 6, there is still no furniture. Never buy from them. They cheat and only promise. I have been waiting for my order for 1.5 months. Better to order in any other store, everything would be faster. I paid a full payment with delivery, and there is still nothing.
Terrible post sale service. Ive been waiting over 4 months for a piece to arrive in stock and the only update I get is after I chase them when they fail to deliver again at the promised time. Forget calling the main number - talking to a person is almost impossible and the robo-voice on the directory is incredibly annoying. Youll sit on hold for over 20 minutes only to be sent to voicemail and never receive a call back. If this place doesnt get it together, theyll go out of business like every other furniture store thats ever been in that space.Have to chase their team for answers to basic questions and get repeatedly blown off. Canceling my remaining order today and not dealing with this company anymore.
The Dump staff is always friendly and helpful! The store manager Jennifer is always ready to help you get what you need and if its a problem with an order its no hassles or problems with getting it corrected! Not to mention they have a great selection of furniture!

Very good quality furniture and everyone I spoke to was kind. When I went in July, I ordered a mattress, sectional, and ottoman. Understandably, there were delays on the sectional & ottoman. It was no problem as I understand this is out of The Dump’s control. We were told they would be arriving in early September, and that I would receive a call from the sales rep when it arrived to their warehouse. I marked it on my calendar and waited. By the end of September, we still hadn’t received any calls or emails on the status of these items. Finally I ended up calling and was told that the sectional had already arrived to the warehouse. I was a little irritated - why was I not called when it arrived? Especially with delivery delays. Nonetheless, we made the delivery appointment and I received the couch in good condition. I was then told the ottoman was looking to arrive to the warehouse on October 4th, and again that I would receive a call from the sales agent to book delivery. By October 7th I still hadn’t received a call. I called and the receptionist, Barbara, was lovely and helpful and confirmed that it had arrived + scheduled the delivery. My complaints here are: if I’m told I will be called upon the arrival of my furniture, why was I never called - twice? Especially after waiting 3 months for the furniture to arrive. I understand there are delays out of the store’s control, but once the furniture arrives I expect a little more diligence from the sales rep to contact customers and let them know that their furniture has arrived. It’s disappointing that on both of these I’ve had to go out of my way to call and ask if they’ve delivered.

If I can give this store 0 stars I would. I placed an order for my 3 piece furniture set in December and I have yet to receive my complete order. I have been given a different date 4 times already and I feel like I have been cheated by THE DUMP. I just called the store and they refuse to transfer me to a store manager or give me a managers name. All I got was the typical the managers IN A MEETING and cant talk. I am paying monthly for furniture that I have not received and feel cheated out of my hard earned money. Please be aware that all they want is your money and do not value customer service after the sale is complete.

I purchased a couch from the Deerfield location in April. By May it needed repairs. That should have been my first red flag. In June a tech came out and said he needed to order parts to repair it. A month later I asked customer service for a status update and all I received was that The parts were just ordered. Why does it take a month to order two cushions to attach to a couch? Despite attempting to contact customer service numerous times since then, I have received no answers in return other than Ill check on it and get back to you. This has been some of the worst customer service I have EVER experienced and I will never do business with this company again.

Michelle Fuentes at the Deerfield, IL Dump location helped us find the exact recliner we were looking for, notified us that us was the last one they had and secured it for us. Within an hour or so in a Saturday afternoon we found the chair we need, bought it, got a discount, paid for it and setup delivery in the coming week. Ira was our salesman, and he was very accommodating! I saw in an add for a power recliner with usb port and cup holders for $399.99 they were out of that particular one so we walked around and found another which was similar but this one is leather with lumbar support and usb port and storage and power and it was last one on floor and was $810.00 as is and they let me take at $699.00!

Ira knew what we were looking for as we explained it and showed us pieces similiar never pushing always explaining everything, from the items all the way through purchasing, delivering and went out of his way to ensure we were happy. Went there looking for a bed frame. Selection was pretty good but didnt find anything we loved. They have a huge selection of mattresses as well so we went to try them out and found a few we liked. Original salesman was okay (standard salesman stuff to get us to buy) but then manager came over and was insanely aggressive in trying to get us to buy stuff. Repeatedly told her we were gonna think about it and she would not let up which made us very uncomfortable.

Went to the store twice and found four kitchen chairs that had a sign that specifically said “ sold as set of (4)” price on the tag was $215. As ready to get them they told us it was $215 each. The sign said “sold as set of (4)”. The parrot nose lady who is not the manager explained that the price tag said there is a set of 4 chairs with the price of $215 each. She doesnt know how to read and makes excuses for there mistakes.Go somewhere else!!!!

When can we expect the “technical difficulties” with the computer systems and phone lines to be resolved? We have been trying to get an update on our order for over two weeks and have not been reached out to. I see other reviews stating the same issue we are having... You need to give some sort of update to your customers, we are being left completely in the dark.
Was there to look at chairs. And found a set of 4 chairs and on the price tag said “set of 4 for $215” but when trying to pay for them they said each chair is $215 each which overpriced. Definitely not truthful about what the price tags say, they try to make excuses about they were misplaced or written incorrectly.
Great shopping experience especially since other stores were telling us that we would have to wait 6 months for couches. I will shop here again.

Worst customer service you can ever experience. I purchased 3 pc office set in store, they took my personal and credit card information, but didn’t charge me since their system was down, 2 weeks passed and I tried to call them several times to check on my order, but no success. I drove all the way back to the store to check it myself, since I needed my desk for my office urgently, they said system is still down and my order will be shipped next week. Today is the day that I cleared my calendar and stayed home to get my delivery, I have no update from them and tried to contact them different ways and unfortunately no response. They are one of the worst companies ever. Do not trust them
Vast selection, very VERY kind and knowledgeable sales professionals that are NOT pushy, more attentive than anything. Bad is location (Crook County) but a sales professional indicated that pricing can be adjusted to save a drive for lesser sales tax! Pleasantly surprised and may help seal the deal!
Had a great shopping experience and so pleased they found the dining room chairs at another location. When my plans changed from pick up to delivery, they made the transition seamless. No additional stress and no extra cost to deliver from the Lombard and Deerfield location. I only wish the furniture had arrived in some form of protective wrapping but maybe that’s something that has to be requested.

So much variety! We loved so many pieces here but settled on two accent chairs for our living room. They were excellent quality and the best part is that they were delivered within three days - every other furniture store has been quoting 9-12 weeks for delivery! Be sure to ask for Ira if you stop in! Super helpful and not at all pushy to force us into a decision.
I’ve been to several furniture stores and was dreading coming into one that is this big and get hassled by sales people, but Kevin was not pushy and just gave us the information we needed to make a decision. We will be back.
Wish I had come here sooner. We were in the area and went browsing but the selection and the prices here were better than the previous furniture sets that I recently bought so sadly I didnt buy anything but I wish I had. I will be going back for future items because they had a great, huge selection and the salespeople arent all up in your face or following you around like at other places. Nancy in particular was amazing. Prices here were great and spot on. 499 for any size mattress is an incredible deal.

I just ordered a second mattress set with Zak over the phone. It couldnt have been easier - he emailed the documents to me which I was able to electronically sign and delivery is in 2 days. I appreciate not having to venture to the store just to do the paperwork.
I ordered a mattress on 3/21 and I was told it was in stock and that Id get a email for delivery in 3 days. I waited the 3 days and got no email. I contacted the dump and was told it was on backorder till the 31st, I wasnt even notified, I had to call THEM! On the 31st I received a call stating that I have a delivery day of April 3rd and that on the 2nd I would get receive a delivery time window. I never received that call and proceeded to call the Deerfield location thats when I spoke to Diane the manager and was told that I was not scheduled for delivery. I asked what had happened and when can I get my mattress? She had no response except that she can get me on the schedule for next week. She then said she got me scheduled for April 6th and that I would again receive a call with a delivery time window. Well its now Monday April 5th and I still havent gotten my confirmation call for my supposed delivery that the manager diane set up. Ive also called the store over 18 times and nobody answers!! I will never recommend the dump to anyone after this experience with them!!!

Awful customer service!! I placed an order online several weeks ago. The webpage said the product was in stock and I received a confirmation e-mail that someone would reach out to me within 72 hours to schedule delivery. My credit card was charged and no one reached out to me. I reached out and they said the product was on back order for a month or two. I asked for a refund because I needed the product before then and this was the first I was learning of a delay. They said theyd submit a request for a refund and it would take at most a week to process. It has been two weeks since then. Ive followed up over the last few days and they keep saying they cant connect me with the Web Services Team due to resource issues and/or power issues and/or simply not available at the time (Im reaching out during regular business hours). Ive called and left voicemails and reached out through live chat. While at least I get a response on live chat (still no response to my phone calls), its always that theyre submitting a request to the Web Services Team who will contact me. I leave near a Dump Furniture Outlet location and have often looked at their website for products but this was my first purchase and this experience is so awful Im very disappointed and simply want my money back.
