My alternator on my 2012 Mazda 6 went out and I got it rebuilt here today. Then another piece got locked up so they just put new barring on it. It was really cheap for everything. I wish I had known about this place for awhile but my friend who is fixing my car told me about this place. WAY cheaper then auto shop. Will recommend for my friends and family. Thanks!

We use them at my job. Theyve been around forever, used to be in Downers Grove. Very friendly, always do excellent work, with quick turnaround on rebuilds. Fast delivery too. Its unfortunate that the cheapo chain auto parts stores have put so many starter and alternator shops out of business, fortunately we still have M.A.R.S.

It was a great expirence working with a small family business, you can tell they care a lot about the customers and quality of service.

So there I am on my way to work just left the house and a grinding noise started to come from underneath the hood thinking it was the alternator I stopped in at Mars to have them check it out for me and as soon as the gentleman who came out to take a look at it points out its not even the alternator its the bearings in the belt tensioner pulley so he gives me his tools I take the belt off take the tensioner pulley off and he replaces the bearing for five bucks I am so glad I thought it was the alternator but it was not because of the help of this gentleman. I wouldnt have made it to work on time thank you sir
