I had a very certain imagine in my mind on what I wanted out of a wedding dress. I knew from the very beginning that I wanted grey, which was hard to find in something that would compliment my body type.Dawn and Marissa were great to work with, I had my dress custom made from over 2 states away during a pandemic! They are both very passionate about what they do!

My husband and I recently got married at a Barn venue in TN. I wanted a short lace dress so I could wear cowboy boots. I knew I needed to find someone to make the dress and I’m so happy I found Alexis Kay Designs. Dawn and Marissa are AMAZING! They are the perfect team. I showed them a picture of what I was looking for but in an above the knee length and they nailed it. We added a keyhole to the back. I got exactly what I wanted for an awesome price and working with them made the whole dress experience stress free. Everyone at the wedding including the venue owner and staff could not stop telling me how unique my dress was and how much they loved it. Thank you so much, Dawn and Marissa!!

If you are looking to feel self conscious while looking for your wedding dress, then this is the place for you. They will make you question your beauty and doubt your ability to find a dress. I have never been more disgusted in customer service, and that is an accomplishment considering I worked in customer service for 10+ years. I wouldnt send my worst enemy here, because everyone deserves to feel comfortable while trying on dresses and beautiful in their wedding dress. We were really looking forward to a comfortable and fun shopping experience, which is what we were promised when we found this shop through two different bridal expos. My sister was made to feel uncomfortable in everything she tried on. A few days later, she looked back through photos and could not stop thinking about the first dress she tried on. However, she would have rather went naked to her wedding than give business to this shop. Thanks for making us realize what a good dress shop is not like.

I am finally able to write a review regarding the service I received for my wedding dress fitting..unfortunately, my dress was extremely big after my final fitting. During each fitting, i explained to them that my wedding gown was too big and that it should fit me. They both recommened that I use carpet tape to help the dress to stay in place, but that was a total disaster..It didnt help at all..I paid money to have the dress altered but I didnt get the correct service.. I am still disappointed. Future brides, Please make sure that your happy with your service before paying or leaving the bridal salon.

The owner was absolutely wonderful, and the woman that does all the alterations was on side and equally as helpful! The ordering process was seamless and easy, even with custom work to my dress, and bridesmaids dresses we also found there! I was blown away by the friendliness, atmosphere, helpfulness of the staff, and variety of beautiful dresses. WOW!!!

My dress was so beautiful. Everyone commented how much they loved it, and they couldnt believe that I got such a great deal on it :) I loved coming into the shop. They are very accommodating and dont pressure you at all. I was able to try on tons of dresses and styles. Alterations are done on-site and the bustling that was added worked perfectly! Id highly recommend Alexis Kay for beautiful dresses as reasonable prices!

I had a wonderful experience with Alexis Kay Designs. Dawn made a beautiful coverlet for my dress from lace that I picked out and with lace from my mothers wedding. It was a very special piece, and she did a great job. I intended to wear it only for church, but I loved the whole look so much that I wore it all day and night. A few months before my wedding I became very ill. We had to cancel and reschedule several appointments and let my dress in and out due to drastic weight fluctuations, but she was nothing but genuinely kind and accommodating. At the end of it all, I felt and looked like a classic, beautiful bride. Thank you so much!

This bridal boutique is AMAZING! Both Marissa and her mom made sure I tried on some different styles along with helping keep my 2 year old preoccupied while trying on dresses! I suggest anyone who is remotely in the area to go here! I love my dress and I loved working with these wonderful women!

Took 5 days to call back just to book an appt. If they cant handle answering a vm, would you trust them with the most important dress of your life, Ill be going somewhere else...

Grateful that I’m not from around the area, as I would not come back. I’m sure the dresses are great, but definitely not worth it, given the kind of customer service we received. The woman at the desk was quite rude, and unfortunately spoiled the experience of looking for a mother of a bride dress with my mom. I was quite surprised to be treated in such a way- I would hope that an owner of a dress shop such as this would understand how stressful (and overwhelming) a time period it is planning for a wedding. Our intent was to come in, browse, and hopefully gain an understanding of my mom’s dress size, and if things worked out, we wanted to purchase a dress. Instead, shortly after entering the store, the owner listened in and barged in to our private conversation, verbalizing her offense at the fact that we had mentioned finding my mom’s size and buying a dress online. I explained that we did not mean to offend, but simply trying to break this up into small pieces so that my mom would feel comfortable. At an hour before close, we were told that we would need to come back at a different time with an appointment, despite their knowing that this was the only time I would be in town. Quite a disappointing experience, and I’m sorry that this was my mom’s first experience. I’m sure we will have a better experience elsewhere.

Dawn, one of the owners of Alexis Kay Designs, and the main seamstress for the store, made my wedding dress many years before she and co-owner Marissa, started Alexis Kay Designs. I went shopping for and found a dress I just loved, but could not afford. In addition, it was not available in the plus size I needed. We took pictures of the gown I found along with others that I loved and sent them to Dawn. She in turn used the pictures to design a similar wedding dress combining the elements I loved with ideas I had and then made a pattern. My Mom and I went shopping with Dawn and purchased the fabric for the dress as well as fabric for the dresses of my three bridesmaids. My dress and those of my bridesmaids turned out awesomely, and I am proud to say where my dress came from. I highly recommend Alexis Kay Designs for your wedding and other special event dress needs. They are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have an amazing day!

I got married back in May, and one of the best parts about the whole process was getting my dress from Alexis Kaye. Dawn and Marissa are wonderful and so helpful. They are very knowledgeable about all the dresses, they make the dress shopping experience so easy and fun, and are so helpful and flexible through the whole process. Alexis Kaye was the first and only dress shop I went to, and ended up buying the 4th dress I tried on. They also do the alterations in the store, so there is no stress on the dress being shipped away and back. They also offered to be on call the morning of my wedding in case of a mishap (thankfully I didnt have any). Everyone told me how beautiful my gown was and where I got it. This place is A+ 100% and I am so thankful this is where I chose to get my bridal gown!!

I chose Alexis Kay Designs because we had a unique wedding planned - tiny church, 50s themed, not as formal. Dawn and Marissa, the owners, took my suggestions and created a lovely tea length polka dotted dress for me - just what Id always wanted but never thought I could have. I had a fun day and got to stay comfortable in a truly unique dress.

I bought my dress a year and half before my wedding. The ladies did an awesome job altering the dress so it fit me. Appointment times where very flexible! Thank you!!!

Down Home experience. Daughter and Mother worked together to help me find my dress. I stayed below my budget. I fell in love with a dress without sleeves, I want sleeves. They said no problem we will add sleeves. Wonderful experience and kept my business local.

They were very professional they were very nice I found my wedding dress and you couldnt ask for better people to take care of you and a stressful time and I found what I wanted and they were very accommodating and I really appreciate it and I would recommend this place to anybody to any bride that is looking for a very special one-of-a-kind dress cuz their dresses are just absolutely gorgeous
