I had to get copies of photos and was helped by Aida. I greatly appreciated the friendly way I was greeted as I entered. One of the cash registers froze but was immediately taken care of by having me go to another. People entering forgot their mask and one didn’t have their mask on properly was told in respectful manner to wear a mask.
When another CVS in the area failed to notify me that a prescription I needed was not in stock and insisted I had to wait three days… I demanded that the prescription be transferred to this location. Immediately this location had it filled and notified me within 20 minutes. I am so grateful. I was so sick and in so much pain their urgency was incredibly appreciated.
My child was most recently helped by cashier CECILLIA. My child needed a product that was locked up. She asked the employee and the employee blew her breath. She called for someone and when she didn’t get an answer, she blew her breath again. She wasn’t even helping any customers. And no one else was around. So why the frustration? My child is 11, would she have done this to an adult? Doesn’t matter if she’s 11, 21, 51 or so on. Respectful customers deserve the same no matter the age.
“Pharmacy closed today due to scheduling error”People have appointments for vaccines and need their medicine. Be better.
Time after time my experience at this pharmacy has been worrisome and inconvenient. I can positively say that the reason I buy drugs on the street now is because of the staff and pharmacists at this CVS location. I trust street vendors more than these evil people.
I am 8mo pregnant and I must be put on insulin due to GD. I have called them time and time again since Friday for my prescription, been given the run around by what seems to be kittens and Doogie Howser running the place... my prescription sat in their fax machine for almost 3 hours and I still do not have my medication I need. They apparently ordered it since it wasnt in their store, (and the pharmacist verbatim says I can check another location to see if they have it but I highly doubt it- in the most Valley Girl voice I have ever heard) but there was also no proof of that ever even happening. They made me create a profile since Ive never used the pharmacy before, switched associates, and then they still couldnt find me, so they started to create another profile for me..... POOR COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Who wants to hear their pharmacist say they highly doubt they can find what I need?! What if this was life or death? Youre gonna let a fax sit there forever? I get that we are in a pandemic, but thats no excuse. Period. The ONLY reason I was told to use CVS was because my insurance has a better contract with them so my medications would be cheaper but no thank you... it is not worth the unnecessary stress for my pregnant self! I work in customer service as well, so when someone says theyre not going to come back for your business, youre kind of just like yeah whatever, but this is embarrassing!
This is the apreciation the store manager and employes from this location show to their customers. Full blown severe thunderstorm its 35 minutes these people have been waiting in the rain because the store is suppose to open at 8:00. But oviously their medicines are not that inportant they saw us standing there and just walked back into their break room
Every frickin time in the pharmacy drive thru for over 30 mins with just ONE car ahead of me! Im only picking up for family. I personally use Walgreens pharmacy.. always in and out quick.
Pharmacy is great! I have seen people fly off the handle because their doctor screwed up and think its the pharmacists fault. Or they get there before their script is ready and think its CVSs problem. If you know how a business works and respect that you will have no problems here. Everyone is so nice and helpful! Prices are a bit high, but come on people, you are paying for convenience...its CVS....you shouldnt be shocked by that lol. I have never had a problem with this store and have been using their convenience for about 2 years now. Good store, good location, good service and good people. Shouldnt ask for more out of a business.
Worst customer service at the pharmacy, doesnt matter if I’m inside in person or over the phone. Every time I go in I feel like I do not matter, it takes 20 minutes just to grab my prescription if they can even find it. They never pick up the phone just leave you on hold for over 20 minutes when your just trying to return the phone call. Wish this wasn’t the only CVS near me.
The ladies at the pharmacy were the nicest people to do business with and had great charisma!
Its overpriced, but its on the corner. Its CVS, what do you expect? They do have great deals in the summer on Arizona tea, 50 cents a can. The pharmacy is always quick and has great service. They also have a rewards card; just buying things on sale has gotten me some 20% off your order coupons, so you can get some of their expensive stuff at reasonable prices, that way.
Perfect place to buy some Goldfish crackers they are cheddar
Short, short blonde haired person at the pharmacy was rude and blue is off because it was almost time to leave. Very unprofessional. I know you want to leave but blowing us off like that is not okay. Only reason Im going to store 2375 is because its what insurance says I have to.
I work literally across the street. My prescriptions can no longer be filled at Walgreens so I have to come to CVS now. I am so sick of waiting 10-15 minutes through the drive thru to pick up my prescrips on my 15 minute break. It is ridiculous. Every single time.
Pharmacy is awful. Made this a year ago and still true. They don’t have meds, they taken at least 30 mins plus for a prescription, I had another prescription pending for over a week, I called, and they assumed I wanted the brand instead of the generic. They didn’t even have the decency to call and ask. Some of the people at pharmacy are nice, others have the worst attitude. I was told to “come back tomorrow because we’re getting in an order” and when I came back the next morning they still didn’t have enough. I miss Walgreens. I only go to CVS because of my insurance
1) Sign out front said WALK IN FLU SHOTS. I walked in. They said they didnt have the flu shot. I went to the Walgreens on first street instead.2) Because there isnt a Chase bank within 20 miles of DeKalb, I started making small purchases here (pack of gum, etc) and using the cash back option when i needed a quick $20. I soon discovered they dont offer cash back in the first couple hours theyre open. Id forgive a small business for not having cash on hand like that, but CVS is a large corporation and should be able to swing it.3) Prices are high even by corner drugstore standards. A Powerade that goes for $1 at Woodmans or Wal-Mart is around $2.50 here if i remember correctly. One advantage to going to Northern instead of a city school like DePaul or UIC is DeKalbs lower cost of living. This CVS, however, shows you can still find city prices out in the boonies.Employees are nice, though.
No one there knows how to run the photo dept but everything else is as expected. Pharmacy is decent.
Go in, buy your stuff, get out, easy.
This CVS is a good size and has a lot of variety.
Sitting here now close to 30 minute at DeKalb, IL CVS waiting for a prescription to be filled that was called in two days ago
Employees seem to be friendly
Horrible service at Pharmacy never gets the scripts right always told my wifes stuff isnt ready after being sent over a week ago half the time we have to call docter to have them send it through again
The phone line is a disaster it shouldn’t take me 3-4 tries just to speak with a pharmacist annoying and terrible.
A++++
Its poor service
Its OK
The staff have no manners or professionalism. About the rudest and mean spirited people work here.
