Shipping boxes and products are too expensive! 2 medium sized boxes here cost $8.99. I went to Walmart and bought 3 large boxes for $3.79. Do not go here for boxes. Customer service was nothing to brag about it. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

Best Gujarati food I have had in a long time. The owner really cares about his business and is always doing many things, he is hands on in his business. This business is energy efficient and is also connected to a solar farm which is important to me. They are open past close almost every night because they have a lot of people who love to eat their food. If you haven’t tried their food, I think you will be very surprised how good it is, I live an hour and a half away and I would drive to eat there.

Ive always been happy to get groceries here but I recently tried to buy a 7x7x7 shipping box. The price was 3.99 at the register. Thats insane. I went down the street to Jewel Osco and got 2 6x6x6 boxes for $1.50...I wouldnt recommend buying any shipping materials from here.

I have gotten dhal and spices, frozen roti prata, the batter to make dosa and yogurt to make mango lassi regularly. There are reasonably priced and I am glad I can get this ingredients in Dekalb, no have to drive out of town to get them anymore.

Very nice people! Cheap bulk spices and insence. The Indian Cafe in the back of the store has amazing indian grilled cheeses with all types of vegetables on it. Try the Masala tea also 😄

The only Indian store in town, so its an obvious place to go for Indian products. They have almost everything there but more pricey than what you would get at Patels.The copy service along with the shipping services is an added bonus.They have a small restaurant there but I havent tried it yet. Stories have told me its not really worth it but they couldve improved now that its reopened after the pandemic.

Great experience. Very friendly,helpful and accommodating.I didn t have the check in done online, because of difficulties with data entry. When i came to pick up my truck he understood my problem and without hesitation went online and filed everything out for me and got me on the road quickly. I m so happy that i went to this pick up location, since you dont get this kind of customer service anymore theese days. I am taken aback by seeing the selection of Dals(lentils), Rice, Fresh Veg, Frozen Ready Meals, Crisps, Biscuits & Chocolates from Indian origin. On top of these options, the Indian Cafe, is like the Cherry on Cake to me.Great selection on offer for competitive prices. Friendly & helpful staff. Keep up the great work.

Pretty darn great cafe setting, and just about every single seat has a charging port with easy reach. Owner is awesome and friendly and very happy to make suggestions. Food is down home greasy good. I hope this gem survives in tiny little DeKalb.

Great place to have your documents printed and for general office supplies. The Indian grocery section is a huge bonus, plenty of bulk spices, seeds, nuts, snacks, etc, packaged/canned products, plus a frozen section and a nice little refrigerated produce section that is fresh every Friday- only place I know in town to get fresh tindora or curry leaves. Perhaps a bit under-staffed, though friendly and helpful - anticipate a wait, as they provide a lot of specialty services.

Offers a wide variety of other services, laminating, fax, notary public, FedEx, etc. Plus a wide variety of Indian food, spices, organic, vegan, gluten free, non GMO flour, and other staple foods. The prices of the store products as well as the restaurant food are phenomenally high. The food quality for the price is so-so.

Mostly a member of the staff acted confused- she told me that another staff member will help me but then when he came out she said oh i can help you over here! I attempted to sell a high end calculator as the sign advertises that they will buy but then they requested the original packaging as she claim so they can find the value of it. That place is full of excuses and maybe its just exclusive.

Interesting food items. I recommend the cardamom flavor teas. They are going to open a small restaurant area. Very helpful explaining unfamiliar flavors, today it was basil seeds, turns out they are used in a pudding type dessert.

This is one of the places I love to go. I absolutely love Indian food! Their rice and their spices are phenomenal. And a lot of the things in store is vegetarian. Because they sell Ghee. Otherwise everything in there is delicious. They have spices and mixes for everything that you want to make. They even have stuff for your hair and your skin. The people who are there super friendly. And theyre very helpful when it comes to different spices and recipes you may not be familiar with. Whats even better is if you have something that youre going to make, a lot of the extra ingredients are in the store that you can buy. Its a one-stop-shop! And I absolutely love their naan bread.

I used to be a frequent customer when this was Copy Services for business printing and copying needs. I went in today to have an 11x17 page reduced and copied onto 8.5x11. I was not informed, however, until I went to checkout that there was a $5.00 minimum for credit card transactions (a new policy). I do not carry cash and the clerk informed me that they would not accept a company check from a local business. So I had to pay $5.00 for 15 pieces of black and white paper.Merchant service providers (credit card processors) generally charge a fee per transaction (usually $0.30 to $0.50) plus a percentage (usually around 3%) so I understand why the managers dont want to have to pay a $0.50 transaction fee for a $1.00 transaction. But, the fair thing to do for both the merchant and the customer is to charge a credit card surcharge for transactions under a certain dollar amount for whatever their transaction fee is. So instead of having a $5.00 minimum, charge me a $0.50 surcharge on purchases under $5.00.The staff was very pleasant and helpful, which is why Im giving 2 stars instead of 1, but because of poor management decisions resulting in my experience today I will never return. The copy shop in Sycamore will have my business now.

Everything is overpriced, but understandable as they need to import, BUT the expiry dates are all covered with new dates. Everything is already expired 2-3 months before. The Indian owner is rude as hell.I would better go to Napervilles Patel Brothers rather than here.

Went in there for late night printing during labor day. Guy says 8 cents per page B/W. Didnt tell me about the $1.00 charge for something like EMAIL/DIGITAL PRINTING FEE. Not a big deal, since I needed this sheet and they were open during a holiday.

Fast friendly and professional staff! One gentleman even held on to a flash drive for a week that I had forgotten. They print in a bunch of sizes and have a fantastic little grocery section with Indian cuisine.

Went in primarily because it was an Indian store and it means lots of good tasty delicious foods, savories, aromatic tea and coffee etc. but in reality was disappointed a lotGood1. Owners run the grocery store and the restaurant hence they were friendly and kind and welcoming.2. Good options available wrt grocery and saw lots of Indian food items.3. Though I didnt use the copy services etc. saw that they provide various servicesBad1. No, I wouldnt recommend drinking tea [ masala or any other type ] from here. Its a complete waste of money. Tea was over burnt [I suppose it was old tea leaves they were using again and again] or the tea was a day old.2. Bought Chole Batura - was super oily, size was disappointing and just spicy, nothing but spicy. Nothing to say about the taste.Worst1. Billing - I bought a medium tea [ item in bill was mentioned as medium size] but price was for the large size tea. When I asked for the difference; the guy asked his wife, pretended to say that price was wrongly entered etc.Somehow, I wasnt convinced it was an error.2. If youre travelling by this place and enter to just have a meal and go; beware of such things that can happen.General thoughtIndian food isnt that spicy at all; its known for its balanced and blended spices in the right quantity, richness of taste, freshness of the food etc. But what I saw here was just some food prepared in a rush with just chilly powder poured into it.Will I go into this place again..... no, never, I am happy to get into a Starbucks for a nice cup of coffee.

Love this place! It has everything you need to cook up an awesome indian meal. The couple of times that Ive been here, I have always gotten great service and they are really helpful. So happy this place opened up in DeKalb. Now I dont have to worry about going out of town to stock up on my ethnic groceries.

OverpricedI needed several hard copies of my dissertation. I chose b/w because the cost of color was very high. They were not able to hole punch the copies for me for some reason.When I needed more copies, I chose Office Max printing services. Hole-punched COLOR copies were just a few dollars more than the b/w prints from Copy Services. Further, Copy Services charges about twice as much for generic three-ring binders as Office Max. WalMart and Amazon are definitely the cheapest option for binders, though.Also, the store is very disgusting. There were roaches and visible fecal matter in the mens room. Organization is poor at best, with most goods haphazardly disheveled throughout.

Extremely useful. Only thing is, they are afraid of low sales and thats why their minimum purchase is $10 for card. Give them a try, DeKalb folks (if you like Indian food)! 😊

Used to be a plain old copy place (that had iffy service tbh), but it was bought and revamped into a copy place and! an Indian grocery! Really great selection, including fresh produce, a wide frozen area and plenty of dry goods. Indian food is a fave of mine, so this place has given me the tools to start making recipes at home when Im feeling adventurous or just pop some tasty frozen samosas in the toaster oven for a quick craving. Ive been here with Indian food novices and theyve found everything to be as welcoming and exciting as I have, so I think Gurukrupa is a winner! So pumped to have them in DeKalb!And I suppose if you need copies, itd be a good place to do that as well.

I was very pleased with the price I paid for the services. They were very accommodating with the large documents that I needed converted into electronic files. FedEx would have charged me per square foot to have them scanned, but Copy Service only charged $1.25 each. I walked out paying less than $15 which could have cost me over $50 somewhere else!

Being an indian this is the worst indian food I have ever had, would not recommended it. I would have given it a 0 star but google doesnt allow it.

Not at all friendly. Will talk sweetly to get you their products but if you face any issue then they will say sorry “once it leaves the store, we don’t take it back”.Do not trust them and avoid their frozen stuff as their expired stickers are not trustworthy. This is the second time I faced such an issue and both times there were no refunds.

Went in there to print my resume on 25 color copies in total. They printed to the wrong trey on the printer. Got the right tray selected and printed 25 new copies. Ended up paying full price for 50 copies when I was done. When asked how that was fair since he didn’t show me how to select the right tray from the beginning and he said sorry it was really busy. Beating myself up after paying $30+

It is good place to grab some Indian spices and snacks. They also have a copy services which is helpful for the NIU students.

They have a huge selection of spices, dhal ( lentils), and herbs. They also have some nice fresh ingredients such as mint leaves, curry leaves, ginger, Asian eggplants and Thai birds eye peppers. Their frozen section has seasoned vegetables, side dishes such as samosas and breads including naan, roti and paratha. Service is helpful and friendly but understaffed so can take a while. They also have a quite large selection on Indian sweets and snacks. Prices are quite reasonable. Plenty of free parking and they are wheelchair accessible.

Finally an Indian grocer in Dekalb! Love it! Also, their cafe finally provides some of the favorites my mom makes away from home.

BEWARE!!!!!I utilized this store to send a cancellation of my health insurance to the post office by certified mail. Owner told me he had to put it in his own envelope. He put the addressed it incorrectly, it was returned undeliverable, no such address. I am now unable to cancel my other insurance plan due to his incompetence. When I complained he handed me a receipt that he typed a note on saying, Customer VARIFIED address. I brought this in to them on December 7th, and told them it had to be out that day. They assured me this would not be a problem. When I picked up the item today, after it was returned, the shipping label they printed out is dated December 11th!!!!!DO NOT give them any business, stick to the post office or Office Depot.

Very sad and unfortunate that owners/managers dont know or dont care that they have such terrible customer service and even worse quality of their services. They cant seem to get printers to align correctly. they never have enough staff to handle customers. It took 45 minutes to print 12 11x17 color copies. While there, I heard 3 people and one caller complain about the poor quality of their services. Including the double booking of a moving truck, so the poor guy had to delay his move by 4 hours. The supervisor actually stood in the middle of the floor and apologized to everyone in the store saying, I, sorry, but Im the only one who knows how to do anything today. Clearly didnt make her co-workers fell good, and didnt give the long line of customers much confidence in the service they were waiting to receive. Will not give them any more of my business.
