Its not a bad store but their prices are getting a little high, Also in the meat department the meat Slicer was just disgusting, It had tons of other meat from other customers. Dont think I will ever buy anything from the deli here again, Plus the kid working in the meat department had no idea How much or what kind of cheese or ham they had.

Service is terrible. Went in to get the fried chicken. Its the best in town . Went in and they said be 20 min. No problem I walked around thr store. 20 minutes go back and he goes oh yea it will be 20 minutes. I have cerbal palsy. I was already in pain from walking. Cant do another 20 minutes. No apologies nothing.

Good because its close to me. Not the greatest variety of products. Staff is really great, especially the more seasoned ones. Newer staff often make errors, especially in the deli.

I love going there for their Deli they usually have the lunch meat I want not many stories do. Theyve got a good meat department and there Bakery is pretty good too and convenient with plenty of self checkout

Even though the bagger broke an egg and poked a hole in my shredded coconut bag, the cashier was sweet, and all the products were on sale. So not many complaints all around here. Still my spontaneous food place to go!

Lady behind the Deli counter was not very professional. Maybe she was having a bad day. Otherwise this is my favorite grocery store in DeKalb Illinois.

There are some things Jewel has that no other stores have. Like the BEST baked breads. And theyre the only ones carrying Campbells slow cooker sauces😊.And I do like the $$ of their fruits and veggies. Thank you for being so available for me/us....

Jewel Osco is a good store, Im old school & Jewel has a lot of the original stuff like Tide original powdered detergent, red delicious apples & they have seeded watermelons.

My family, as well as I have, been shopping at Jewel Osco Grocery store, in Illinois, all our lives! I mostly love most of everything I buy there. They have Great Sales! The people who work there, are mostly very helpful and nice. They have long time workers, who have worked at Jewel Osco Grocery store, pretty much all their life. And they have a really good union, for their employees. Anyways I love their food and some of their other products as well. Its a good grocery store to shop in. They take good care of you!

I dont shop as much as I used to. I live alone so I dont participate in these buy multiples to get a decent price. Pop, chips, regular items. I dont need that much. It really penalizes those without families.

Jewel-Osco has a wonderful selection of fresh produce and if you havent tried their freshly squeezed orange juice or apple juice then you should - it will be quickly one of your must have favorites. Their delicatessen department is on par with their closest competitor of Meijer and Hyvee and the price and quality is above average. If you are a high volume shopper and stock for your pantry then the savings at Jewel-Osco when fit your budget but if you looking for savings on single item things then your best bet is to try Schnucks, Meijer or Hyvee where you dont have to buy the complete set to receive the savings.

The building is handicapped acessable with the same for parking. Very clean. Fresh veggies. Check out was not bad at all. I like the human touch. If your in a hurry you can check yourself out.

To be honest... I only really used the bakery this run. Anyone with picky kids? Ive got 2 of them! And their pickiness doesnt extend to just the healthy stuff.So when my sister in law held her kids birthday party in April and my little one scarfed down the entire piece of cake... Cake and frosting alike...I HAD TO know exactly what she ordered and from where.Jewel! Chocolate cake, whipped topping.So there I went... Picture in hand... Because I needed TWO cakes for 2 different days for my picky little queen... One for her day with her picture on it and one for her party in the party theme.Their bakery is phenomenal! Wonderful people, handled both orders wonderfully, the cake really is delicious(Ive had it.. refer to the April party) and browsing the already made treats before ordering.... Yummmmmy!!!!Anyhow... Ive been to this jewel location for other things randomly and Ive never had an unpleasant experience as far as locating what Im looking for or their employees.Great store!

The only place I can find Yellow Tail Jammy Red Roo 💛 Honestly, the cashier was friendly, and directed me to what I was looking for pretty easily. I had my younger sister with me, and she could also pay for her purchases in the spirits section and leave through the side door swiftly, rather than having to walk all the way through the store again.

They had the things I needed but that self-check out needs to be adjusted!

What can I say? Its a Jewel-Osco; reasonably well stocked and pretty easy to navigate. The employees were all very friendly, especially the pharmacy manager.

The first time I ever went inside of Jewel-Osco store was 2017 they had Halloween Oreos now what was it about 2017 there was no pandemic the store is still looking beautiful its amazing they have good pizza puffs amazing Submarine sandwiches even delicious donuts you can take home make sure you bring money in the best way it has the best desserts even Airhead candy they even have Hershey chocolate cake and Oreos

Jewel-Osco is where high end meets convenience. They have a great selection of products, their customer service is great, and I appreciate the services like iPass support as well. The biggest con of Jewel-Osco is their prices. Even their sale prices seem higher than the same products at other, larger grocery stores. But again, Jewel-Osco has great quality and theyre a little closer and more convenient, so that can be worth it.

I ordered three meat trays for a funeral dinner. They were short-staffed and worked hard to get them done for me.

Really tired of red tag clearances for items that are not there. Instead, entirely different products are displayed under, over and around the tags creating (intentional?) confusion about whats discounted.

Many times I’ve been here and found expired stuff. Found peanut butter Cheerios, brought them home and they were expired by a year! Kinda my fault because I should of checked but went back to the store and all the ones left on the shelf were expired. Today went to get almond milk from the aisle and they expired 9 months ago! I’ve worked at a different Jewel Osco before and I’ve cleaned out aisles from upcoming items that are expired or expiring within the month. Must not be happening here.

I love their produce and bakery. Try their walnut turtle cookies, theyre my absolute favorite. In the deli, the primo taglio turkey is made in house and offers amazing quality, taste and value

Not too happy with this location, they tend not to have the products i use, theyre liquer is pricey, the location in sycamore always have what i need, and the liquer is cheaper.

For some reason i keep getting beverages from this Jewel that have been expired for many months. A few weeks ago i bought coconut juice that has been expired for 6 months. Today i bought beer that expired 3 months ago. And that is not good. Beer shouldnt taste funny but this one did, it tasted sour.

All went well. I like this store

Im rating this solely ! Off product availability which they didnt have a big variety of the only reason I gave you the two customer service was great so maybe a two and a half.

Great selection of produce, bakery, seafood well stocked groceries nice prices and fast checkout. Think its also got flowers, tcf bank, mailbox, you can buy a I-Pass there, alcohol, pharmacy, lottery tickets, stamps.

I always can find everything I need and want every time I go there.

What more can you say other than the fact its like any other Jewel-Osco you have been too.

Jewel is a good grocery store that has lots of sales and good prices. Our family likes going to Jewel because of the great prices and good quality food. And many other people in our neighborhood like to go there as well seeing as Jewel is right in our neighborhood.

Typical jewel store, this ones a little old and lines can ruin long. They have pretty good sales but most other items priced a little higher than other places.

Everything was stocked up. The only thing they didnt have was the honey chicken wings they are on sale Friday also!!

Sadly, a customer was wearing her mask down under her face. She was also drunk. I told her to back off from me....she was argumentative when I said please put your mask on correctly. I asked the cashier (in the liquor department) if she could tell her to put her mask on or tell her to leave the store. Her comment was we have not been authorized to do that.. Well, that makes me not want to shop at your store!

Each grocery store has its own strengths, even between stores of the same group. Jewel is strong on canned seafood, beverages, a small but nice kosher section. With the Osco attached, Jewel-Osco is a valuable member of our business community.

The was organized really well .I was able to find all the groceries I was looking for and a few extras. Location was easy too.

Nice staff, and selection all around. They have a small pet supply section, small seasons selection. They sell liquor on the far side of the store, wide selection of cards for things like birthdays, anniversaries, ect ect.

Love Jewel... Has thoselittle things that big box stores overlook. Its also a calm shopping experience-you dont feel that frantic where is that feeling. The employees know where things are...ahhhh.
