Our experience began July 2020. Too many problems to list. My wife and I went there. After multiple test on my wife and never ordering her glasses, he told my wife to go elsewhere. 9 month later they refunded cost of wifes glasses they never ordered. My glasses were ordered wrong and I paid more money to reorder right, that was in August 2020. Today I received the right lenses and had them installed on frames I bought 10 month ago. I dont believe they know what they are doing, they billed all our statementswrong. I kept hearing promises but no results. Worst business I have ever dealt with.
We had a ugly experience. First thing we got there 10 minutes before our appointment time.. it was time for our appointment and we still werent seen.. 2 hrs later we finally got in. All the wait to see that the man was rude and not very kid friendly. You dont scream at a child to pay attention because the child was already so tired from waiting the 2 hrs. Ridiculous.Now they want to charge me for something they didnt finish.
Beware of Amaro diagnosing Glaucoma. He diagnosed me with glaucoma and said I would have to use eye drops for the rest of my life. So I got a second opinion from a real doctor in San Antonio and he put me through the same test as Amaro did and he said that I did not have glaucoma and wasnt even close to having it. Glad I got a second opinion and I have never returned to Amaros office and never will.
This is the worse experience I have had. I ordered my contacts mid April and we are in May 21st and I still have not received them. They rather cancelMy order instead of trying to figure out and do their best to get my Contacts to me. I call they say they will cal back and never do. This has been over a month. And when I call each time they can never find my files or say it’s been processed or it’s processing. The worse experience... If ur looking for a place with great communication and that actually care about their patience DONT go here.
So far off to a bad start with this facility. First they give my daughter the wrong trial prescription like it was okay for a week. Then they send off text messages instead of phone calls 20 minutes before they close so now finding the time to pick them up is only convenient for them. I have an appointment with them in two weeks and that will determine my final review of this facility. I hope the review this and see how they treat me when I go. The receptionist seems to be the issue not the doctor but he should be following up with them on there work. They didnt make the effort to give me a chance to run over 5 minutes before closing to pick up my daughters contacts.
Very friendly extremely professional also the most affordable eye clinic in Del Rio every other place was extremely expensive. Highly recommend!

Doctor was very passionate and went above and beyond in explaining everything. This is a family owned business. Very nice people. We will definitely be back for our eye care here.
Yall should get a working phone. I called twice and couldnt get any answers because supposedly tha girl on their end couldnt hear me.
