The food was excellent. We arrived on the early side at just after 5 pm on a Wednesday night. The service was great. The people were attentive and detailed in what the specials were and the things that were included for the dinner special which was a soup or salad and a dessert. The bread served was really good with butter or margarine. I got the honey pecan salmon and it was delicious. The flounder francaise was enormous and will clearly be a full dinner tomorrow. Dessert of chocolate cake was simple and good. The Boston cream pie was recommended and I found myself eating another spoon after another. Great service. Great food. Would definitely return.
The place is attractive and clean. But the menu has no identity and is confusing. It is not a grill. They need to decide what they are. Not a deli, not Italian not Greek not island not comfort. What are they? Food is microwaved its all too hot. Rice pudding crunchy. Bread stale. No need to go back there are other places
The Odyssey Diner is no more, it is now the Delray Grill. I have been very impressed going there for breakfast excellent service good portion sizes good pricing. Havent been there yet for lunch or dinner but plan on going there shortly. Highly recommend.
We were there for late lunch. I had matzoh ball soup which was hot and ok. Also had grilled cheese sandwich with coleslaw and French fries was very good. Service was polite and timely
Horrible food and so so service. my husband and I had dinner there last evening. He ordered the prime rib. I came out swimming in grease and was evidently a poor grade of meat. I had the roasted turkey & stuffing. it had a horrible taste with some strange seasoning. Vegetables had no seasoning. Bread was dry and tasteless as well. Very expensive for terrible food. We do not recommend.
I like that you can choose from a lunch and dinner menu different Greek, Italian and Jewish plates. The price is modest and the food has always been fresh. Service is reliable and fast; dont expect a red carpet. Bring cash to take advantage of their great breakfast fares. I have been going for a year and my opinion hasnt changed. Try it, youll like it!
Excellent Diner with delicious breakfasts. I had lox with eggs, onions, tomatoes, and capers. The omelet was delicious. George, the new owner talks to everyone. Very pleasant late morning breakfast.
Greek diner with new York style cooking. Cheap, good size portions, you get what you pay for and the people keep coming back. If your from new your and you enjoyed the local greek diner than its a must to go to. Ask for Dada she is top notch ( really )
Very reasonable priced. I only had breakfast. Service was fast and attentive. Serve staff friendly. I would go again.
The service was terrible, got to the restaurant at 5:45 waited 15 minutes for the waiter to take our order. Took15 minutes to get soup and salads, and then 35 minutes till main course. One wrong order, small portions. No one bothered to stop and ask how the meal was or if we needed anything. We wont be going back .
The absolute worst place to eat...Rude, disgusting staff...They take advantage of their elderly clientele.....The owner doesnt care a bit about how people are treated....Cash for breakfast... Whats that all about???The place is filthy...I dont know how the board of health hasnt closed them down....Id give it ZERO stars if I could.....
French Toast is the best ever!! Ever!! Service is so friendly. Hostess is a sweetheart. Everyone here is just having fun.
Great lunch and service and price. Breakfast menu is good. Apparently dinner menu to come soon. Early hours for coming dinner.
The food was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is in real need of updating Furnishings and Furniture were in bad shape.
The raisins in the French toast were good, they were also good in the oatmeal. Partner said the corned beef portion of his meal was edible. Wish I could say more, but those were the only highlights. Wont be back.
Terrible service. First visit will be the last visit. Sat down, served drinks, ordered. Had to confirm order 5 minutes later. Then sat waiting at least 30 minutes on 4 simple items that never came. Soup and sandwich, chicken wrap, ham and cheese croissant. Left cash on the table for the drinks and walked out.
The French Toast is delicious. Sausage is tasty and I dont like sausage. Daily specials. Good food with reasonable prices.
Sorry to say food was terrible. 3 people ordered ruebens and the meat did not even look like corn beef. It really was a mystery meat. Service was good and manager was extremely pleasant under the circumstances.
If you’re looking for a quaint diner to visit, this one offers a delicious array of foods. This diner serves its community with excellence.
I go here with a group every week. Very accommodating, good food. Well worth the money.
Food was good but not many patrons. Sad as this was a place for a decent meal.
Very disappointed. The wait time once we were seated took forever and when the waiter came he just stood there, didn’t say hi or ask if we wanted a drink so we just gave our order. Ordered pasta with butter for my kids and was told it was margarine (totally fine)...when it came I dumped so much of the margarine out onto my plate. It was completely drenched in margarine. When I told the waiter it was drenched in “butter” and showed him my plate, his response was “it’s margarine”. That was the end of that. When I went to pay I was asked how everything was. I said not great and the reply I got was “ok”. Needless to say we won’t be going back!
Ive had the pleasure of eating there twice. Both times it was for Breakfast. The food was always delicious ! The service staff seems to have their hands full with a large customer crowd. The wait for our food was definitely worth it ! I highly recommend this location for a great bite to eat.
Decent food and service and cheap prices.
This establishment is under new management and it is now called the Delray Grill. We tried it and like it so far. The previous diner was just shi#tty service and food.
Very good Chicken Souvlaki, homeade soup & the service was great!!!
Nice food. Good Service
Good fast service. Good food good value. Now called Atlantic Grill. Just fixed up.
I mean, its a diner, but the service was incredible, the price was great, and the food was good. Really about as good as diners get.
Went for breakfast on a Friday around noon, wanting diner food. Waiter was confused about everything the 3 of us ordered. Including coming back and asking what I ordered after 10 minutes had gone by. Brought out our water and coffee and never came back. We walked out after 30+ minutes.
Dont bother. Says New Ownership, was a 3 prior, now a zero. Staff argues over customers across the restaurant. We felt bad watching how they treat the elderly that come in just to have a meal. Yelling and arguing at the elderly is a standard.
The gyro meat was burnt. Fries were ok. Bacon was good. Matzah ball soup wasnt that good. Sorry, not going back. But service was decent.
Bad my omelet was feta cheese the feta was so salty you have to buy a better quality feta not cheep? my friend had deluxe burger it was so thin you could hardly see in the bun I dont think Ill be back soon
Decent food, Good value. Occasional surly service.
Food came out fast it was hot and it was great.
Was there at lunch time and had a western omlet it was excellent my friend had french toast that looked very good and tasted VERY GOOD it was busy and our server was on the ball, looking forward to next time and the french toast, parking is no problem.as of afew weeks ago the Odyssey is now called Delray Grill
Love this place for breckfast...wait staff is the best....willy and Lilly live you...
Great value at a good price. Large portions that include drinks and dessert.
Friends raved about the double dipped French toast. Had it this morning tasteless and in my opinion it was because the egg batter was watered down. No distinct egg taste. Added cinnamon did little to enhance the bland tasting challah.
Great food and value, staff really nice
Excellent food and service at reasonable prices
Eat in diner atmosphere. Prices like a restaurant
Great bialys. And nice people
Fair food and service. Needs a lot of repairs.
Great place good food, hostess needs so customer service traing
Recommended by a friend. Went last night, Aug. 5th. Service and food was fair. No one cleared the table before dissert came. Upon leaving, employees could not find the cashier. I wont go into details of what happened when I got home. I got a bad case of food poisoning. Spent the whole night in agony. .I must have been the baked halibut. My recommendation. DONT GO. Its not worth it.
Everything was as its supposed. Not a grade A diner but I always leave satisfied with my belly full.
Good food wonderful service
Staff is friendly, food is great and prices just right! A winning combo for me!
This place has the best French toast in town! Reasonably priced as well.
Pleasant place for a meal alone or with friends.
Lunch specials!!! Big sandwiches salad and beverage good prices good subs!!!
New owners, new menu, newwaitstaff, abysmal service and food not much better! Ugh....
Odyssey Diner is closed. Now its Delray Grille, and the food was delicious!
Grilled chicken on Greek salad was great, not dried out, with good oregano and rosemary seasoning. Responsive and friendly staff.
Excellent service and food! Already cant wait to come back.
Customer service sucks!!!!!!! There are only 2 waitresses in this restaurant thats very polite. The manager isnt customer friendly, cleanliness is not their priority, came in one morning and a big roach greeted me at the door!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable, dont even deserve a rating!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a great time at the Odyssey, the service was good, the food was excellent. I will be returning.
Name change good food
Awesome dining experience, great and kind service!!!

Food is good priced right.
Good fish, but limp, possibly canned green beans were served. Iceberg lettuce based salads.
