Best transmission shop in South Florida, recommended by my mechanic to rebuild the transmission on my dodge ram. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also stand behind their work even after the one year warrenty was up they still took my truck in to adjust the shift point for free. 10/10 will use them again if the need arises, just hoping it doesnt.

Awesome service!, I Needed my transmission replaced on my jeep and after 7 month of saving up for the transmission I was able to get it installed quick; they also helped me with the ball bearings that were bad.I highly recommend this shop, they are good folks and their service is impeccable.

I have a 1929/79 Model A Ford Shey roadster that is a factory remake of the original with a Pinto engine and drivetrain. I had a major problem with shifting, and did some research online and decided on Duro Tran. Turned out to be a really superior decision, and place to bring the Model A. They tried a few different things to fix it, but the parts on the car were mostly original, and really worn. Almost nothing existed as an off the shelf replacement. They tried a couple of things -- but there were matching issues -- but NEVER GAVE UP -- didnt charge me unless it was completely new work -- all at very fair prices -- and were the utmost of courtesy and professionalism at every single step of the way. We finally got it down to needing to replace the shift rod -- but that part was not available anywhere -- so they decided they would have to refab it on their own!!! They rewelded, ground, and basically engineered a new part out of the old one! INCREDIBLE! The vehicle now works better than the day I purchased it. These guys are the absolute BEST! And theyre honest. And theyre reasonable. I wouldnt go anywhere else if I had a trans problem.

I filed a claim through my insurance company for water damage due to Hurricane Irma. I noticed my transmission was not shifting properly after my car took on a lot of rain water. My insurance company requested that I get a diagnostic report at a transmission repair shop. So I called Duro Tran, mainly because it has a lot of positive reviews. I spoke to Dennis, who is an incredibly helpful, skilled, and honest mechanic.During the phone conversation, he explained how the transmission is potentially affected when water is around or inside it, which was educational for someone like me, who is not knowledgeable about transmissions. He also offered a free diagnostic, which you would think is common nowadays, but it actually is not as typical as you might believe. Most transmission repair shops charge for the diagnostic.Dennis and his wonderful staff performed the diagnostic and determined that no water had entered the transmission and it was simply needing transmission fluid, which had run low. He called me back within only 2 hours of dropping the car off. He filled it up with fluid and when I drove it away, the transmission was shifting smoothly. I am writing this a couple weeks after the experience, and I can tell you that the transmission is still working properly.So I closed my claim with the insurance company and saved a lot of time, money, and energy thanks to you guys! I only paid $21 total for the whole job! These guys truly care about their customers and removing hassles while being honest, which you don’t see often these days... Between being treated fairly and like family and seeing someone else’s beautiful, majestic, classic Cadillac being worked on inside the garage, I felt like I traveled back in time to much simpler and friendlier days! I give you all 5 stars, and if the transmission acts up again, I know who to call!

I brought my 1974 CJ5 in for a complete suspension rebuild as it was completely original. They replaced the springs, shocks, shackles, and steering linkage. I also had them replace the entire floor, custom roll-cage, new seat brackets and new seats. The job was completed efficiently and at a cost effective price. Justin G. is a master welder and fabricator! These guys are true professionals and are great at what they do. The guys there know what they are doing! I welcome anyones call to talk directly. These guys recently rebuilt the transmission on my 2013 Chrysler 200.The car shifts better than ever.Duro Tran came highly recommended to me from several people in the automotive field and I am highly recommending them to you.

I bring a rear differential, a 9 inch for an inspection, since I am restoring an old F100 truck from 1974. When I dropped the axle, they ask me if the tag was still on it, and it was. They charge $320 to do the inspection and replace one bearing. When I got home I realized the tag was not on the differential, I went to the shop and ask the guy who did the job, but I guess it was already too late, the tag disappear (garbage)!!! Very upset when you are trying to keep everything original and those guys just lost one important piece, the description tag of the axle! I called them a few time, they ask me some detail about the truck, that was 2 month ago since no news from them! Not very professional, and no customer service!

I originally brought my vehicle in because my check engine light was on. I was told that I would need 1700 dollars worth of work. We did that one-month later while I was still in warranty. I brought it back. They say that Ive driven almost 1000 miles, which we have a 12,000 mile 12 month warranty on the work and they say that now I need it for my transmission to be rebuilt, which costs $2,950. We did that. Now my check engine light is back on. Its been there for over a week and theyre saying that they cant find whats wrong with the car after I paid almost $5000.

These guys should stick to exhaust. They really dont know transmissions. My mustang was there for over 4 months after the say they rebuild it and I paid $3,016.56. The car drives like a tank. It shifts hard, i have pink fluid in the drive way and i am not going to bring it back as i dont think they are capable to make my car shift propperly. Dont take your car there, they are very expenssive and they wont fix your vehicle correctly.
