If I had the option to select no stars, then I would in a heartbeat. My elderly parents bought lumber from this location recently and had a terrible experience.My parents speak English and Spanish but prefer to converse in Spanish being that it is their native language. They approached a senior staff member (older in age) who spoke in Spanish to two previous customers. Well, the staff member refused to speak in Spanish with my parents.A younger staff member stepped in upon noticing the situation and took it upon himself to assist my parents in Spanish.I am contemplating reporting this discrimination to the BBB.---Update 9/30/2021I received a response to my review submission in a promptly fashion.I have faith that Daniel, VP of Marketing will address and remedy the situation. Thank you.

I like foxworths I go there all the time its the only place to get materials to build with here in Deming the people are always friendly too

Had no issues with my purchase of wood. Went inside to check on a couple of windows. I measured the one in the home 36 x 36 was looking a guy came out of the back asked if I was finding everything ok. I explained what I was looking for, and in a very condescending attitude, they are 35.5 x 35.5. So I am ok cool, had 2 there one was missing trim. Ok, when do you think this can be replaced? His response was very e have more important things to do. Ok, so do I. Rest assured I do not need or have I ever needed foxworth. But I do support local businesses, But this one I refuse to support. I can dive to Las Cruces.

Bad customer service. The lady at the front counter has a really bad attitude. I came from T or C to pick up a window and they will not price match there own store. I paid $110 for the same window in T or C and. $120 for it in Deming. I will not come back to this Foxworth. Makes you think about just going to the big box stores instead.

At first I was frustrated I could get no one to help me. I asked several different people for help and waited 20 minutes. Just when I was going to leave and go to True Value a young man came over to help me. He got my paint mixed and told me where to find other items I needed. Dont even ask the dude in kitchens for help cause he DISMISSES you with a hand wave. The young lady at the register is sweet and the yard man was awesome and very helpful. I gave him a tip. Never had I had such frustrated experience at foxworths before. I have always had a better experience there. This morning must of been an off day...but that dude in kitchens just pushed my buttons! Heck, he probably does not even know how much he pissed of a customer cause he is so clueless.

They have many lumber needs as well as equipment for household use.

Prices are higher than in Silver City. Culled lumber is much better in Silver City. Some culls from Silver City is better than the standard stacks in Deming. Folks at Silver are more friendly and helpful than in Deming.You always HAVE TO ASK to get help loading in Deming. A little the same in Silver, too. Maybe it is SELF SERVICE. I dont really know the policy on that.In short, if I were closer to Silver City, I would never set foot in the Deming store.

I was surprised to see all that they had and a nice selection too. Prices werent overly high and if you consider your time, not to mention traveling and soaring gas prices. Your employees are great. But what I have a problem with the company is when you give a GIFT for 25 percent off you limit the days and products that can be purchased. In essence it is not a gift. It is better I never receive any more of your so call gifts in the future. It is double talk and false.

There is a man by the name of Daniel, he is the rudest person, has no business working with the public. First time I thought maybe he was having a bad day, but it happened again. As old as he is, he was never taught that his paycheck comes from the customers. We always hear buy local, but how can you go back when you have a person like that with such a bad attitude.

Knowledgeable staff, accommodating for special needs and if they dont have what you are looking for they give a good referral. Yard staff held you find and load. Solid four stars.

Any time Ive been in the store they have been helpful. Adam from the paint department is very helpful. Usually dont have to wait very long if I need assistance.

Although relatively small, they ALWAYS have what you need. The employees are helpful and know the store well. Fellows out in the yard are extremely nice, polite, and do a hard job (such as loading bags of Sakrete) cheerfully. There is no need to search beyond Foxworth in Deming. Good job!

The online information for building products is the worst in the industry. This company shouldnt waste peoples time to find out their web site doesnt show available products at a local store. Stop wasting peoples time an post product availability is in store only.

Great service and I love that lumber prices are going down.

Anything you need in way of a lumber yard, you can get it here. If its not in stock, they are very willing to order it.Contractor or rancher or just a home owner, they are very willing to help. Even have in stock parts for mobiles and RVs.

When I am in the Deming store I know I can get the help I need selecting the products I need for my projects. The floor staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

If you want 2nd rate lumber it is here. Prices retail or more. Friendly staff. When youre the only lumberyard in town this is what you get.
