My last visit wasnt as expected. Only one self check out had cash, all others were card only. After Standing there half an hour and letting 8 people pass me to check out, I decided to go to a regular check-out and wait in line. After asking, I was told they didnt get enough cash in to fill all self check-outs. Very interesting..

This store is consistently in reasonably good shape on the inside, and in the garden center. The meat cooler aisle is frequently jammed with product waiting to be stocked, though.As with every WalMart, there is NEVER EVER enough staff checking out. Not even during major holiday and BTS periods. Our largest purchases are made at other retailers because of this corporate stupidity. (Marketing & corporate management need to read the previous sentence aloud at the next quarterly stockholders meeting.)The parking lot is absolutely filthy. It is so bad, that sneakers sometimes stick to the asphalt during a rain event (not exaggerating). Spilled food, dirty diapers, and general litter can be seen constantly.

Found most of what I was looking for. I got my groceries and Christmas cards. The people are very happy to help.

Went to buy a fishing license, nobody in sporting goods. Used the call button, nobody came. Had the clerk in auto center page and still nobody came. Totally unsat. Walmart needs to get refocused on customer service instead of cutting labor. I bought my licenses at a c store and they were awesome.

This store used to be well stocked with friendly staff. However, recently this has seemed to change. I went in this weekend and most shelves were empty. I finally found enough stuff to get most items on my list. Waited 20 minutes to check out and when it was my turn the cashier informed me with lots of attitude that she had no bags. I told her I had over $300 worth and was not carrying it all piece by piece. She then informed me again with attitude that they wouldnt bring her any and she wasnt going to get any so I would just have to deal with it. Needless to say I left the entire cart and walked out. After leaving my husband called the manager on duty who refused to give him her name, she proceeded to yell at him and hang up on him. I left and went to Kroger where shelves were fully stocked and staff friendly. I wont be back to this store which is sad because I used to drive out of my way to shop here.

I was floored by the amazing items they have and stocked on everything the employees were so nice and helpful,let me tell you the prices were phenomenal, the cashier asked if we were coming back and I said of course she replied you have to come to my lane so I can see more pictures of your sunsets and flowers,go there right now dont think just go!!!

Seems like every time I go have to use self checks or wait forever in line for 1 or 2 cashiers. Not a fan. Then when you leave they want to check your receipt. Then the alarm goes off and they want to check what you have again. I had 3 large items that couldnt be bagged. I lifted them out of the buggy, took the 8 sacks out and told them to find what made the alarm ding. Not a pleasant experience. Getting to where I dont go to Walmart unless I just have to.

Its Walmart. Sometimes you get great people like today, where all 3 employees in the self check area were incredibly pleasant and helpful, and sometimes you get rotten people like night before last where the woman in self check refused to sell me paint pens because i did not have my physical ID (wallet was stolen) despite me having the paper copy that DPS gives you while you wait for the new one to come in the mail (that even states it is meant to serve as an actual ID).

This store has really lost its will to be a good store. I have to check everything I buy. Produce packages are either expired or moldy. Has noone heard of rotation? I found carrot that had expired by 3 months. Freezer department is just as bad. Frozen chicken is freezer burnt prior to purchase. Seems to never be anyone to help in the bakery after 2pm. Items are just thrown onto shelves regardless of the price tag. Oh and just ask an employee a question. Unless they are a department manager in that department you get told not my department. Employees at electronics will have a conversation among themselves dispite the fact you are asking for help. I mean even the cashiers complain to customers. It really is sad. I used to enjoy going there to shop not anymore. I wonder if corporate will even read this.....

First know anyone who has a problem with this store or an employee here call or email corporate so it can be noted I have a bone to pick with this store one being Ardell or whatever her name is I have witnessed her yelling at employees that are trying to work and that is just no way to treat employees. 2 if you are elderly like me you get special hours thats great what isnt great is listening to a male manager named Aubrey talk about young girls he sees in the store and what he wants to do to them to an elderly woman named patty its disgusting and while losing one customer wont hurt Walmart calling corporate and rating them will get it known that some people are sick individuals who shouldnt be in public places near the rest of society.

I havent been to this Walmart in awhile, and it will probably be even longer the next time. The shelves were depleted on nearly every aisle. With a store that is as busy with customers as this one is all the time, why so few delivery trucks to keep the shelves full or at least stocked with goods that are needed every day? I really dont know the why of it. It simply could be the lack of associates to work. I dont know, just pretty disappointing to say the least. Walmart is going down hill. Like so many other big chains in the past that no longer exist, perhaps because of poor management.??It would be great to NOT loose Walmart as it does serve communities who do benefit from their conveniences.

Clean parking lot and store, our checker was a bit slow but friendly. Found plenty of fresh produce, the meats are expensive, went looking for a pair of tennis shoes but all they had was some cheap slick bottom Tennis shoes so I ended up with a more robust show than what I was looking for.

Great place to shop. Great customer service too.

This is the only Walmart Ill shop at. Less people. Stocked well. Lots of help.

Its a nice, smaller size super center. Despite its size is a much better shopping experience than its larger sister store in Sherman, especially in the evening time. It has almost everything the larger one in Sherman has, without the dope heads walking around staring at the ground with flash lights; oh yes, thats real (not just an isolated event either). Plus, its much faster too. Not much for clothing though, it has enough to get by. Also has a Murphys gas station in the parking lot.

Went in to return items that didnt fit. The return process went smoothly with my receipt.

Whoever the Customer Service manager Debo is... needs to be put in her place. She had no right to roll her eyes and demand we go to another Walmart to return a TV. I understand people dont really care about complaints but this woman was so close to being slapped. Also, tell her to stop speaking so loudly. Blow our eardrums out why dont you.

The store was well organized and stocked but the floor seemed like it had seen better days. The staff were helpful in helping me find the item I was looking for and even suggested other departments that my item could be found in but was slightly different.

If I could give this store a negative review I would. The store is fine. But there seems to be a problem with this manager named ardell. I witnessed her talking down to an employee. I asked them about her and they said she was constantly rude to everyone under her, never actually works, and constantly screams and cusses at her employees. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THAT STORE AGAIN UNTIL ARDELL IS GONE.

Walmart has great prices and good products as always. The only problem is the customer service at Walmart has gone down in the last year or two. Probably just a result of a generation of people who arent very social and who dont really want to work.

Used to love Wal-Mart. Now I hate it. They are constantly moving things around so you cant find what you are looking for. They never have near enough checkout open. I refuse to use self checkouts. Unfortunately our grocery shopping options in Denison are few.

Really dislike WalMart since they started doing pickup and deliveries every isle is usually blocked by a big cart pulling online orders. Very irritating to navigate around constantly.

Was never a big fan of Walmart when I lived in Dallas but here in Denison its a completely different atmosphere. More hometown and the selections and employees are great.

Saw a manager named Ardel basically yelling at this poor kid trying to do her job and made her cry on the sales floor. It doesnt matter what they did you have no right to talk to her in the manner I overheard. I will not be returning to this store anymore since you cant respect your employees. The Highlight of my shopping trip was the Greeter acknowledging, smiling and wishing me a great day!! Wal-Mart has me re-thinking my shopping trips, and adding a better quality vote to their friendly service and health conscious employees.

Most employees are rude, not all. If you ask a question it a bother.

First time for curbside grocery pickup in Denison, TX. Of all the Walmart stores where I have used this service this is the first one that didnt drop a dozen items because they were out of stock. But the thing that stood out here was the guy that brought the groceries to the car. Very courteous. Very careful with the groceries. Expressed sincere gratitude to me for shopping at that particular Walmart and wished me a good evening. Wish I had gotten his name to give kudos to his manager. I know.......could have been a fluke, but it was a positive experience for me this time.

Excellent help at the Black Friday deals pick up. and associate came out and checked on us before I could even check in on the app. in a matter of minutes he had our purchases ready to be loaded and was happy to load them for us. Not expected that type of service out of Walmart. But it was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend doing online shopping and pick up here.

Half the workers dont wear proper masks. Came in at 7am and several old women were wearing genie masks like they were exotic =these older women were named Patti and Jeanie) clearly this Walmart doesnt care about the health and safety of the community maybe thats why the numbers are going up. If Russell cared at all he make sure all employees wore proper masks not a part of a costume.

An absolute mess. It was pouring down rain and the gate to the garden center was open so I walked under the canopy and looked browsed for a couple of items. Since it was pouring down, I walked in through the doors there.I was immediately barked atlike a child. This guy told me I could not enter the store through that way. What would be the difference if I was actually already technically in the store area once I entered the garden center? I was not happy by how this employee handled this, but complied and walked around.This same employee sees me in sporting goods and as I wait at the counter there brushes up against me, completely disregarding social distancing, and gets on the register to type something in. He could have easily walked around to the other side where there was no one.I watched him literally stop and look as at me from 15 feet away and then decide to walk so close to me that he nearly brushed my shoulder.It wasnt worth confronting him and corporate Walmart would not do anything any way.Their Covid protocol measures are a joke.

Walmart in Denison, TX is one of the best in the state. Plus I get to visit with Miss Joy who has worked there for 34 yrs. She is 94 yrs of age, works full time to this day. Everyone in area knows her and agrees that she is sweet as can be and works her tail off. And this time of year she will wish you a Merry Christmas.

I havent been to Walmart in Denison TX for several months. Im recuperating from a broken leg so someone else has been shopping for me. I was very disappointed to find a lot of the items I usually buy were out of stock or they didnt have the size I need. If I cant get what I need, I guess Ill be forced to shop elsewhere, since I dont have a vehicle and my rides cant take me to several stores just to pick up items your store was out of or just didnt get them on the shelves.

I have just started using the pickup service and have had a very good experience. I had a couple of items not included on one order but was able to request a refund without a problem. The people bring the orders out have been friendly, efficient and courteous.

They are doing so much more cleaning. The personal shoppers are very helpful in the store. Makes it much easier to find help as needed. We did try the on-line order and curbside pickup. Will start using that more often, as I really cant walk the distance in store while wearing a mask.
