So glad I found the cozy little spot! Although I stuck to the vegan menu, I am sure everything is just as good! I had the vegan cheese steak and soup, so flavorful! Cant wait to go back!

Great to have vegan options, for breakfast. They had a pre-packaged vegan scone and a muffin that I did not buy because they looked quite old in the package. Husband got an apple fritter. Seriously $8.50 for meh apple fritter that is half the size of an average apple fritter? Wont be back.

So yummy. We went several times during our vacation and really appreciated that they had several vegan options available. My kids devoured the croissants!

Unimpressed. The place smells like old fried fat, service moves at glacial speed, baked goods looked crude and dry. Left without making a purchase.

Really cool place, though I wouldnt quite call it a hidden gem since there was always a pretty decent line when we went. Coffee and food were good, though it was a little slow getting our orders.

Nice bakery with solid selection of sweet treats. Wish they would offer more non dairy milk alternatives, specifically oat milk. The espresso drinks are okay, has a strange taste (maybe it’s the type beans, could be improved upon though...) they also have breakfast & lunch menu that I haven’t sampled.

I had the Underground BLT today, and let me tell YOU something, man, it looked and tasted like someone made it with care in their own kitchen with amazing bread, thick cut bacon made to order, a beautiful layer of tomato, and Caesar dressing on the lettuce. Plus I had them put a fat slice of cheddar cheese on it. Boom! So good. Then I had a fresh, from scratch cupcake with REAL butter cream frosting. This place is legit. They serve real food made in traditional ways that you just cant get very often. You can taste the love.

I absolutely love this! The owners are incredibly talented and very nice. The food is delicious! The employees are also very nice. Lots of coffee to choose from. They are always trying new flavors for their muffins and donuts. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. They cater too!

Awesome place. Had egg wrap with beans, rice, cheese, tomatoes and avocado. Very tasty and feeling along with a good cup of decaf. Took home some bakery items.... details later.Also a nice place to sit and hang out and chat.

This place is a hidden gem. The coffee is always fresh. If you are looking for a treat, the scones are tasty. If you looking for a great breakfast, the burrito is perfect.

Funky little bakery that is in the basement of a building -- thus the name! All kinds of coffees, both caffeinated and decaffeinated, can be paired with many bakery items, some really good, some not. Also serve sandwiches and soups.

They have the most delicious eggs ever. Pastry, sandwiches, chili, noodles. All delish - get some!

Pretty good vegan food. Their vegan cheese is so-so. Not terrible, but wouldnt be my first choice. The cashiers are friendly. The space is small and only has a few tables. Food is made fresh so it takes several minutes, especially when its busy.

Incredible bakery with a lovely staff on cape cod. They are baking my wedding cake later this year. Highly recommend for a lunch date or a wedding cake.

I really enjoy this place. The coffee is great. I appreciate that there are vegan options available. My kids always enjoy seeing the other patrons dogs. There is always ample parking. I look forward to my morning coffee there every time I visit the Cape.

This place is filthy! Needs a very thorough clean both in front and behind the counter. Im glad we cant see the kitchen... I can only imagine. I got a terrible latte which I had to return. They were nice about it and offered a refund. The food was average - we got a bacon grilled cheese and a Maoist Cuban.

Breakfast All Day!! Lunch menu. Its a good place if you are going somewhere whos vegan and into all the natural stuff.Vegan baked goods?! No way!

Delicious! I get all my birthday cakes from the Underground. My two favorites are carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and layered lemon cake with raspberry and almond mousse and buttercream frosting. I love their cakes so much that I had them as centerpieces on every table for my wedding! I also eat lunch here often and on top of everything else, the customer service is excellent.

I like the self service coffee bar. The scones are excellent. This place is dog friendly and sells home made dog treats. This is one of the places I look forward to visiting when I go to the Cape.

Great little bakery that is impossible to find if youre not specifically looking for it. They are down under another store in the back of a small cluster of outdoor shops. They have a good but not huge selection of fresh baked goods. Think scones, muffins, cookies, Biscotti, and some chocolate things that are so yummy that they should be illegal. In addition, there is an assortment of hot and cold beverages, and a few indoor tables usually populated by locals (or summer visitors trying to pass as locals) reading the Cape Codder, talking sports, and dropping their ahs. The place is small so rambunctious children should be closely attended. Cute little place. Give it a try.

Fly crawling over Focaccia bread in bake case. Cafe needs a good steam clean - it was all very dirty. Panini sandwich was just 2 small regular slices of bread, toasted - $8. They forgot the liquid for my ramen - that came 3 mins later. Lunch took about 20 mins to arrive and there was only 1 person ahead of us. No public restroom - I was directed to the gas station across the street. This place might be good for coffee and baked goods (if you dont mind the flies) but there are lots of other better sandwich and lunch places in the area. Could be that the summer staff are a problem in the summer season. Sorry to post a poor review but we had a disappointing experience.

We mistook this for the Buckies on 28 in Dennis. This was an unfortunate mistake. The espresso at this underground bakery tastes burnt and awful, we couldnt even finish it. We also ordered iced lattes, but they added water instead of milk. Go to the Buckies at 681 Main St in Dennis.
