Store is well kept. One of the sales guys spent an absurd amount of time helping me while I was being stubborn about replacing my odd-sized wheel bearings for my boat trailer. I dont remember the details but I ended up with exactly what I needed, last minute before a road trip.

I shop frequently at Northern Tool in Denton, TX. The store is well stocked, the staff is friendly and professional and the products are good quality and well priced.

Called about a bandsaw. Told there was only one available and that they would sell it since it was a working model. When I arrived I was told that bandsaw was broken. If there is only one in the store, I don’t feel it’s too much to ask for someone on the customer service line to go and check to make sure. Do your jobs. There wasn’t but 4 people in the whole store looking around and the same people who blew me off after asking for help are the same that showed up when called by the women to come help when I went to the front.

It took two hours to check out and pay you web site. you stink.

While I like some items Northern Tool carries, much of the items at this store are not much better than another importer store across the country. This location could have been a super sized store carrying many more items that they offer online and in catalog. Unfortunately it is disappointing as they carry less than the Lewisville store making selection of items difficult.You know I gave them 3 stars previously, but now I am mad. I placed an online order for store pickup. The store claims they sold the product before they got the pick ticket. So canceled my entire order. They claimed they sold 17 KingChain 5/16in. x 14ft. Grade 70 chains in that time. I doubt that very much. Their store shelves have been out of stock for weeks and I am betting their inventory numbers are out of whack. I also ordered online because stores dont honor Advantage Member prices or discounts.Called 800 number. Told me the order is canceled so I can re-order again, but it may be 2-3 days or weeks before I get refund from first order. It is instant to take my money but not refund. So I would have to pay twice for same product and eventually get a refund. No thanks! Oh and the $20 off coupon is now invalid too, because it has been used.

If I could give 5++++ stars I would. The assistant store manager, Jim, is phenomenal!!! He always goes above and beyond to help us when we shop there. Because of Jim we spend quite a bit of money there. His customer service makes us not even shop around. Thanks Jim.

Alex the store manager was amazing! He provided customer support for a item that was purchased back in April of this year. Helped me hunt down a original purchase receipt and as well a receipt for another transaction at another Northern Tool location. Thank you for all of the help Alex, if only more companies were able to find leaders like yourself customer service would not be a lost art.

Great place got a lot of help and they had what I needed.

I bought the (Yellow Jacket) most expensive floor jack they had thinking it would last longer. Blood the air out of it as the instructions suggest as they do with all jacks. Started to leak second day after I used it. Kept using it thinking that it was just excess oil. After using for 3 months on nothing over 1 ton well under the max limit it is now not holding. Took back to the store to have replaced under extended warranty. Found that I was not sold extended warranty has I had requested. And they say now I am 2 weeks out of in-store guarantee. shift manager suggested I can sell you a new one with an extended warranty. I used to frequent northern tool. I will no longer.

Had a flyer advertising cargo carrier for 89.00 hanging in the rest room. Would not honor the flyer. Was told the price had gone back to full price. They should have honored the flyer or took it down.

I have done order pickup at this store a couple of times and they have always been quick and courteous.

Not a bad place to shop if you just go in and buy something. The extended warranty they offer is a joke and a hassle.

Placed an order online last night... usually do shipping but since it gave the option to pick up in store... and could obviously get it quicker I went ahead with in store pick up... Drove 45 mjnutes only to get to the store to find out it has been canceled because they could not find the product I had ordered.... The old lady at counter was super rude... No apologies or anything!!! Very disappointing for my first in store pick up experience!!! STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IN STORE PICKUP!!

Went to Northern which is about a half an hour drive one way for me to buy a Keter folding work table which was featured in their sales flier. On arrival I was told the item is no longer available and that they could not order it for me and they would not check another store for me despite the fact that it’s farther away. This is the second time this very same thing has happened to me and I am just DONE with it. On the off chance anyone from northern is reading this review please please remove me from your mailing list as I will NEVER darken your door again.

Just FYI if your a professional in the buisness and need customer support at this store for get it!! Run to another location or try their competitors because even though the product may be ok the service is horrible!Seen this before in other service industries in the area good luck maintaining buisness or even staying open. Bad press gets around. I’m taking my money else where!

I really liked this place. Its brand new and set up different than what im used to. But, I liked it and found what I was looking for easier! Check out was faster than normal. So, good job to whoever was in charge of getting this one started.

New store in Denton. Great selection and good prices. Found the impact tools, angle grinder and swivel sockets I needed. Good name brand tools and their own house brand with really good warranty. My old lady is really upset about this place. I will be shopping here. A lot.

I like this store. Everything I need and I can drive or order online.

I bought a lemon and they fought like hell to not give me my money back. I had a unit that was leaking fuel with the PETCOCK SHUT OFF! It wouldnt run for more than 10sec-2minutes before shutting itself off. I took it back and service guy says theres nothing wrong with it, come pick it up. I took 2 videos of it in a failing state but no one was interested in seeing them. They just wanted to argue, tell me I was wrong, talk over me, and eventually start yelling.Ive spent tens of thousands of $ at N.T. for over 20 years but never again. This disgrace of a store just lost them a customer. I hope it was worth it because they lost more money this way then if they had just given me my money back for selling me Chinese junk.

Service was slow. Ordered on line, had to wait in a long line, then had to wait for service. Cart was missing the correct bolts. Had an entirely different bolt.

That place is very organized. Always I found everything for mechanical, electrical, plumber, trucks, etc. I liked.

You could drive to the store in Lewisville, get what you need and drive back to Denton faster than finding help and checking out of this store.
