I came in for an routine oil change & from the second I arrived, I was very impressed! GREAT customer service from everyone but **in particular Heath.** He went above and beyond and did a great job! He was very knowledgeable, professional, & had me in and out of there in no time.I came in towards the end of the day, it was hot out, and they were pretty busy. Even with that being the case... I saw nothing but smiles from the entire staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I will definitely be making this my regular place going forward!

Quoted ahead of time price and time it would take to do the vehicle maintenance. Came in understanding both, sat for an hour and the car wasn’t being worked on. Explained that they said 2 hours and an hour has been wasted with it just sitting still. Said I would just come back another time, the lady went out and came back to tell me he could get it done in 1 hour when he said 2 hours multiple times before. I waited and explained I HAVE TO LEAVE AT 11:30 because I have appointments. 11:40 came and they still weren’t done. Finally they said it was ready. Mind you, 1 hour instead of 2 hours of actual work on the car. Yet I was STILL charged $75 MORE which he explained in advance over the phone would be because of AN EXTRA HOUR OF WORK. Yeah, unless you’ve got loads of time on your hands and extra money to spend on something you shouldn’t spend money on don’t come here. I shouldn’t have been charged more for extra time that wasn’t used on my car.

So, I go in for a oil change. Terrific job on that fast and everything. But when they try to do the normal upset and I said no. When I get my car back, theres this constant clicking sound with the ac. Very noticeable. I go back up there, heath said probably the air cabin filter begin dirty. Well it was dirty before he missed with it and the sound only started after. He claimed to fix it, I drive off. Turn the ac down a little and boom the click. Took it up there again, he claimed to get all the leaves out. I said that the sound is there but better, but he claimed he couldnt hear it even though it was quite obvious. I was just done with this shop, so said its fine and will be going to a other shop to fix their mess up on something I never asked them to touch.

My inspection was overdue on my pickup at least I thought so. I pulled into Kwik Kar Denton University Drive to get it inspected it was late on a Friday evening and my normal place was closed and I needed to get it inspected because it was the first of the month. I should have done it the week before Not realizing my girl had already gotten it expected at our normal place on Thursday, I was trying to get it done under the radar without her knowing that I forgot about it. Fast forward to the next day I find out that shes already got it inspected. Then I returned to ask for a refund not minimizing the fact that was my fault that I didnt know the inspection was done my complaint is Dave is rude and arrogant and reflects the business attitude towards customers Stephanie is sweet as she can be the least they could have done is graciously refunded me the amount and earned my business. The place that did the inspection originally offered to refund that one but Kwik Kar did not want to refund. I guess what Ive learned from this is if you have a company thats not willing to work with customers to gain their business its probably a company you dont want to go to. I wouldnt recommend this business for any reason based on the attitude of the Manager Dave..

I brought my car in because I had noticed my brakes had been making a noise. When they inspected it, it turned out my front axel (or frame? not sure) was completely rusted and my car was totaled/unsafe to drive.They were so kind and accommodating! They were very patient with me keeping my car there while I figured out what to do with it. Thank you guys again for everything!!

Hi! Came in today for some annual services on my car and received excellent service! The technician brought me out to my car even to review it over with me, and was the absolute kindest! They’re experienced and know what they’re doing! When I called for prices before hand, Stephanie was very informative! When checking out I received the best customer service! Would recommend 100%, definitely way better and cheaper than going to the dealership! PLUS, I was in and out within 20 minutes. Thank you guys so much!

Very knowledgeable honest mechanics! Kwik Kar is not just a name its the speed in which they do business. Every aspect of the experience was great. They diagnosed my AC system for free and was upfront on price and asked if I was ok with that. The recharged my AC, checked for leaks and put them UV dye in to determine cause of minor leak. They said bring it back if cooling drops off and they would troubleshoot it for free with UV Light. In and out in 30 minutes. Thank you staff for great repair service and super customer service. Your whole team is friendly and communicate excellent!

Arrived right at 8, when they opened, told me 20 minutes for an inspection, no big deal. 45 minutes later and they still had not taken my vehicle back for the inspection. I was watching the workers in the garage. There was a handful who were working hard and getting customers taken care of, and others just standing around. At one point one of the guys in the garage came inside and just waited to trade spots with the cashier because he was “done” in the garage. I also went to the cashier to get an update on what was going on, and after 10 minutes of standing in front of him and never being acknowledged I just went and sat down because they finally had my vehicle pulled in. I don’t mind the wait time, just be upfront about how long the wait is going to be. If you know there are 4 cars in front of me, just tell me.

Stafanie is amazing and her empathy she has for other people will get her far in life! She was so sweet and professional and I would recommend this company over any of the others I went to. Some other places tried to basically rob me. So this is a good place. I literally love Stafanie and don’t even know her. She just was a bright light on a gloomy day!The guys here looked at it and assessed it as far as they could without hooking it up and running diagnostics or whatever to determine and electrical problem with the AC. I appreciated that because not a lot of places will even check it out for you just by eyeballing it and they did that for me.However, I YouTubed AC problems and found out it was a blown fuse and that my car even had some extra fuses to spare. And I fixed my own AC for free.My Dad was a mechanic for 30 years but he passed away in 2013. He always said to do whatever you can do first before dropping it off at a shop. You can most likely fix it yourself. And he hasn’t been wrong. I have fixed most of the things myself on my cars but the AC was a bit intimidating to me for some reason. Not anymore!!!!!!With all that said though, if you can’t do it yourself I recommend this place for sure.

Good service outside with techs, poor service at Front counter whilepaying. Was also quoted $79 and then as I’m paying I was told it was $100.69? Of course I paid it what can I do thenbut I won’t be going back. The guys outside were very professional, friendly and did a great job. The extreme hot weather resulted in the belt on my SUV disintegrating. The engine immediately became hot and the power steering went out. Luckily I was near this Kwik Kar and they were able to work me in even-though they were very busy at the end of a Friday afternoon. The staff was professional, helpful, and courteous. The facility was very clean. The lobby was surprisingly and amazingly clean. The receptionist was courteous and helpful. The mechanic was professional and knowledgeable. This was my first time to ever visit a Kwik Kar, however if this location is an accurate example of the other locations, I can not imagine taking my vehicles anywhere else.

Jason and his team are always so good to me and my family. Went and got an oil change; did a good job apart from not washing spilled oil off of under chassis (went back and asked them to do it, they did it right away). However, the manager is extremely unprofessional. If you bring your car here and an employee accidentally breaks something, expect to argue with him extensively to get it fixed, and then IF he ever concedes, expect him to punish the employee by making them pay for it rather than having the business do it.

They do not have knowledgable staff here at this location that i would trust to do more maintinence then oil changes and tire swaps.Do not bring your vehicle here for repair work by any means.(The location in the same parking lot of Albertsons)Yes, I remember exactly where I got scammed by fake mechanics.

Ive been coming to this location for years when Jonathan was the manager and had no problems whatsoever. There has been a time since Ive come there but decided to have a diagnostic run on my vehicle since the check engine light came on. They charged us $70 for the diagnosis and called to let us know what they thought was the issue and I spoke with somebody there named Robert over the phone who told me that if we did the repair that they would waive the diagnostic fee. I asked him how long that was good for and he said 90 days. We proceeded to bring the vehicle in the next day on Saturday to have the repair done. We dropped it off and on my way home I called back and asked where they still going to waive the diagnostic fee since we were having it repaired. I was told that they were not going to wave it because I did not do the repair the same day which was less than 24 hours ago. When I questioned them as to why they told me I had no choice but to accept it because I needed the repair work done. We hung up. Less than five minutes later I received a phone call from the same Robert who told me that he spoke with his manager and that I needed to come get my vehicle and that they were not going to do business with me because I had supposedly accused them of price Jackie was his words and I told him I didnt know what he was talking about that all I did was ask them to waive the diagnostic fee and now Ive got to come get my vehicle? These people are dishonest and clearly into lying and deceiving. There is no excuse to tell me to come get my vehicle after charging me $70 to diagnose it and only to be told we dont want your business because I asked a question. Highly unprofessional. Dont waste your money or your time.

Stephanie is the most amazing desk representative- very knowledgeable and friendly.Levi did my oil change and was thorough- I was impressed!My AC got recharged by Matt and he told me about every step he took and what was going on with my car.If you stay and wait for your service to be finished, they will keep you up to date along the way and make sure you know what they are doing. March 20, 2021 ~11:30 AM; Rayzor Ranch Location, Denton, TxTook my older truck in (1995) and one of the guys accidentally broke off the driver side door handle. I asked if they were going to replace it and they said no with the following reasons:The passenger side is already brokenIt is an older truck and we wont be able to find the partIt was weak plasticeverything else on your truck is broken (how dare and very false)When settling up for the oil change, the manager said to avoid a bad review the part will be up there the next Monday, but because it isnt fair that I wanted them to repair what they broke, he is going to make the tech who accidentally broke it pay for the part.Told him to return it as I will not be back up there.Its not like it was a high dollar part or anything, but it is my driver side door, which I CAN NOT CURRENTLY USE.I really hope Frank Dudowicz (owner) doesnt let his managers shame customers like this and punish techs just doing their jobs. The tech didnt do anything wrong. If your shop is not equipped to handle/cover the inevitable accidents that come with older vehicles then why flaunt it on the website?ASE-Certified mechanics for ALL makes and models, from luxury to vintage.My wife has also had some issues with them up there treating her poorly and I had to replace pads and rotors myself AFTER she took it up there for brakes, as they only replaced the a caliper hose, the brake booster and master cylinder (but still charged us for a whole brake caliper?)We want to support our local businesses, but when it comes to a family owned and operated environment, this place is missing the mark pretty bad. Quality of service has declined in the past year.On a positive note, the madam at the front desk is 10/10. super nice and cheerful.

They are very quick and professional. Good service. The only thing is, the lady behind the counter was ineffective with her cleaning (during these Covid-19 times) around the lobby area. Otherwise everything else was great!Edit: to answer your question, the lady behind the counter was NOT wearing a mask and she took my credit card instead of allowing me to slide it myself. As I was waiting for my car, I saw her cleaning the lobby area but it wasnt what I would call thorough. It was just quick swipes here and there. Listen it was no big deal. I just think it may need a bit of improving.

I cannot put into words how thankful I am to the people who work at this location. From the girl that works at the counter all the way up to the manager, I have never received anything but the ABSOLUTE BEST SERVICE around. We started bringing our family vehicles here and were so pleased that we switched all of our company vehicles to be serviced here as well. There has never been a time when they were not able to help us with an issue we have had with our vehicles. They are courteous, professional, fair priced, and the service is EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!

Ive gone to this particular location on and off for several years. I usually dont have an issue however the front desk lady is extremely rude, Stephanie I believe it is. Even if the value and car service is good enough, nothing can repair the wounds of poor customer service. There is no excuse to pick fights with customers who are earnest and loyal to you. I brought my car in the day before Thanksgiving to have my oil changed and they came and got me to tell me my battery was leaking acid. He had a qtip and was running it on top of the battery to show me the acid. There was no smell. Then he had a cup that he had tilted and was telling me that was my transmission fluid and it needed to be flushed. On the side of the cup away from where the transmission fluid was he was showing me was a dried up spot. Then he told me my brakes were bad and I needed to have them changed. I told him I just got new brakes. He said he hadnt looked at them but was going by the year of my car and the mileage on my car. You were trying to rip me off for work that did not need to be done. I went to 2 other places and they both said there is no way he would have been using a qtip if there was battery acid and my battery was fine. They also wanted to know how they got the transmission fluid when they only had the car in the bay about 7 minutes. Yes I watch and time plus some of the transmission fluid would not have dried up that quickly. And how can you tell anyone they need work just by the year and mileage on the car. You were trying to get a disabled senior woman to pay over $400 for work that did not need to be done. You ruined my Thanksgiving. I was scared to drive it so I spent Thanksgiving alone. Do you have any idea how depressing that is. I would NOT bring my car here unless you have extra money you want to spend on things that dont need to be done.

Awesome service! I was greeted immediately by an employee who asked how they could help me. Once they knew I wanted an oil change, I was sent inside to do a quick new customer form. Staff inside was also quick and courteous. After the mechanic had done a quick look-over of my car he confirmed with me the price of the oil change and what kind of oil I wanted. I found out afterwards that they also check all fluids and other common maintenance things, which makes the slightly more expensive change well worth it. They finished the oil change in decent time and payment was quick and easy.I noticed the next day that my car smelled funny (kind of a burning rubber smell). I called to ask if that was normal, they said I should come in to have it checked when I could. When I went back, I was again immediately greeted and quickly helped, the mechanic checked possible causes for the problem (broken gasket, was not their fault, just my old car), and offered a quote. The quote did take a while because they were busier, but for having the office full of customers I was still helped in a reasonably timely manner.Really appreciate the professionalism and going the extra mile, you guys are a class act! 😁

The staff was very friendly .Heath the tech working on my vehicle took the time to personally show me why my transmission needed to be flushed even what the fluid looked like. Service was very quick even though they were busy. I had inspection, oil change, and transmission flush in 30 minutes. Will definitely be returning!

I spent approx. 850$ here for some major repairs (that were done correctly and quickly). Master cylinders, ESG sensor, spark plugs and wires, and a brake light repair. The manager (Jonathan) was very responsive and helpful. However, at the end of the day, I feel like they cut corners - they didnt connect my air intake (see photo), they didnt refill my coolant after a leak and hose repair, they didnt refill my empty windshield wiper fluid, and a support bracket for the upper radiator hose was left uninstalled, which could have damaged the radiator hose.They got my truck working, for 350$ less than the competition - but they could have spent five minutes double checking their work and made me a lifetime customer.

I was put on hold for 13 min. Called back was told we are busy and I’m a liar. Manager answered phone rude as well and would not let me speak to his boss. Literally came in for an oil change, I watched them tell everyone in front of me that there was something else needed (mainly transmission flushes) then when they got to me. They tried to sell me one to. I definitely do not need a transmission flush, I had one not too long ago. I know times are tough with Covid, but these guys are literally over selling there services and everyone here is picking up on it. So one star! Be careful out there guys!

I have been going to this location for years. The service and staff have been fine and I have even had some emergency work done in years past. I know they make money by selling additional services and I am always prepared for that. Its what they do. I am giving my experience the other day 2 stars due to trying to be sold a radiator which was not needed. There were supposedly a big crack on my radiator and was told of the dried fluid on the radiator. The manager was writing a quote to get this taken care of. I told them no thank you as I have an awesome mechanic that I use and trust. I immediately drove to my mechanic who inspected it at my concern. No crack. Needed a new clamp on the hose. Thats it... a NEW CLAMP! My mechanic charged me nothing for the clamp and I was good to go. I am sad to think about how another person would have been taken advantage of in this situation. Youve lost my trust and a customer University Kwik Kar.

Took my car in for an oil change, and began to have a plethora of confusing engine problems. During this oil change, they tried to get me to buy a new battery for the car when I had just done so about eight months prior to this oil change. Upon leaving the shop, my car engine began to shake violently. I returned to the shop, and according to them the employee had not reattached the air filter correctly, so they fixed that “problem,” and over-wrote the coding that came with the check engine light.Fast forward to the next morning, I was running some errands around town and noticed the same issue remained prevalent. I returned the car to them and told them exactly what was going on. They made me wait 2 hours outside in inappropriate conditions (very little regard for public health and social distancing) only for them to say come back several hours later. I had to continue with my day, and on my drive back home the car began to shake more violently than ever. I called the mechanic, and he agreed to take a look at the car sooner than later. The mechanic then comes out after about a half hour and shares an estimate of charges amounting over $600. These charges included replacing spark plugs, the ignition coil, and other various labor charges. Being aware of how ludicrous this was, I was starting to become suspicious of the practices taking place here, so I took the car to another mechanic in town.After the mechanic at shop B took a look at the interior of my engine, he discovered water inside cylinder 4, which was causing a misfire and as a result causing the engine problems. The mechanic at shop B cleaned the water out from the cylinder, and the problem that Kwik Kar fabricated was solved for no more than $100, with no parts needing replacements.If I am being frank, Kwik Kar is quite fortunate that I have decided not to report them over this matter. I am not accusing them of purposely putting water in my engine, but based on their lack of professionalism and con-artist-like practices, I would not be surprised if this was not far from the truth.I think this story stands as testament to the phrase, “always get a second opinion.” College students in the area, BEWARE OF THESE MONGOLS TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND YOUR WALLETS.

It is with great sadness that I write this review. I had such great experience with this shop and the previous manager, Jonathan. I recently took our car there with a brake problem. They had overhauled the brakes only 14 months ago. I was told that I needed another brake job which included new rotors on all 4 wheels. I decided to get another opinion, this time from a Chevrolet dealer. The dealer said that the rotors still had plenty of life on them and simply needed to be turned. I now know why the manager did not want to tell me to my face that new rotors needed to be installed. He sent someone else, twice, to misrepresent the facts. I would have spent a great amount of money unnecessarily.

I have been to several of these shops which are convenient to my neighborhood. They have done good work and taken care of me and friends that I referred by not “nickel and diming” for every little thing.

This location was great. They took longer than expected but that was a good thing. They were making certain that everything was right on my daughters car. In doing so they also discovered that the repair that was going to cost me $500 less than they originally quoted me. I am so glad they took the time and care to do things right. I would recommend this location should you need a repair. Their staff is very honest and reliable.

The staff here provided excellent customer service!! Omg!! I came in on Monday about 10 min before closing and they still got be in for a state inspection. They were super busy but staff were very kind and prompt with smiles on their faces. Thank you so much!! 😁

I’ll be honest, I know nothing about cars. When two rods under by my wheels got bent, they took care of me and even recommended a good place to get new tires. When I talked to Stephanie on the phone and Jason in the store, they both had excellent customer service skills. My pet peeve is when mechanics treat me like I’m stupid, but here they treated me like family.

Very disappointing:(I spend $800 on a tune up, 2 weeks later I am stuck having the same problem in a different city 30 minutes away, and they wanted to charge me for a tow and the work to be completed on my car once they got it back to their shop.Keep in mind, I called and asked the manager Heath if I should take it to be seen somewhere else or get it towed, he recommended that I not drive my car and get it looked at another Kwik Kar since it would barely drive, then call him before the work is done.Jason Stine, the owner was NO HELP, he back peddled on lies told by Heath in order to run away from fixing my car. Sad you cant trust car places to be honest and consistent....all about $$$$$$$SO UNFORTUNATEFirst and LAST visit with them!!!

Service was fantastic! As soon as I pulled up I was greeted by a mechanic, he was extremely polite and gave clear instructions as to where to park and what forms Id need to fill out as a new customer. I waited in the lobby area with several other people, I was anticipating being there for at least an hour just because there were at least 5 other people waiting. After about 15-20min all the other customers before me were taken care of and my car was ready too! Friendly employees and speedy service. I will be back!

I dont trust anyone else with the repairs on my honda. These guys always go above and beyond! Everyone here is so friendly and takes the time to make sure you understand what needs to be done to your vehicle. I would recommend kwik kar lube & tune on university and Bonnie Brea to anyone in need of car repair.

No commemt..feel like I was just shoved under the rug when it came to my inspection ...what would of hurt to inspect my car then I would of know what needed to be fixed if anything because I have a short in my dash.I was a new customer and he wouldnt even put it on the machine because I needed a diagnostic done first.

I went in for an oil change today and received excellent service. Vic, the guy who handled everything, was courteous and straight forward. Brought me out to go over all he had done (which I am discovering is a Kwik Kar thing) and said everything looks great on my van. I have had guys in the past try to get me to flush my transmission system because my fluid was pink. Its suppose to be! I was pleasantly surprised he didnt try to pull that on me as other Kwik Kar places have. :) Ill be back.
