They did an Oil change, tire rotation and break fluid service. They also looked into an oil drip and solved the issue. They kept me informed along the way with their online text program. The shop is clean, neat and inviting. I will use them again.

Alex was great but the quality of work and whole experience was not. I was greatly inconvenienced and while manager Dru was willing to correct the issues, I wasnt able to get my vehicle back to them during their business hours and needed one of the issues addressed right away. This is my first bad experience here but I will not be returning. 🥴

I literally just stopped in to get a quick state inspection. I let the gentleman behind the counter know that the fobs battery was dead, so hed half to press it to the start button to start the car. Dude sits there and literally changes the fobs battery out, and then proceeds to quickly do the inspection. Didnt charge me anything extra. Just did it out of sheer kindness. I know its a small thing, but that small gesture just won these guys my business for a long, long time. I appreciate the gesture, man.

Went in for an alignment check, super helpful staff and honest. Prices may seem higher than others but you get what you pay for and quality work is worth it! Id recommend pioneer to many! Lobby also has one the nicest auto shop setups Ive seen, everything and everyone is welcoming!

Outstanding customer service!The shop had literally just closed, and Alex one of the employees was on his way out when my dad and I showed up to tow my car away.Alex personally stopped what he was doing to help us connect my non running car onto the dolly.They are professional, knowledgeable, and very very helpful. The people in this shop are the greatest! I came in with a weird battery issue and they took care of me right away. After a few days of working on it, we determined that it was just a bad battery and they replaced it with a great brand. We had a small issue with the amount of work done and the bill, but they took care of me and everything ended up great.A month or 2 later I had another battery problem and they refunded me the battery price, and they absolutely didnt have to. They have gone above and beyond for me and they have earned 100% of all my future business. The people in the office are great to talk to and they keep you updated with everything. Thank you guys for everything yall do. I hope I dont need to come see you again (dont need any more truck problems), but if I do, I will absolutely go back to Pioneer Automotive.

Pioneer automotive is the place for friendly and prompt service, these guys will take care of you and will make sure all your needs are met, stop by and visit them they will not disappoint.

Pioneer was excellent for years but about the time they moved to the new location near Guyer, things went downhill quickly. Their prices are really high and they attempt to sell you every upgrade and service possible. Reminds me of Firestone or any of the other places I’ve tried. Go in a for an oil change, get charged $100 and they’ll tell you that your vehicle needs $3500 in services and repairs, including a new air filter (even though you changed it yourself 100 miles ago for 1/5 of the price). It’s a real shame they switched their approach as they were one of the only honest and reasonable shops in the area. They won’t be getting any business on my vehicles.

An excellent choice for getting oil changes, inspections, and any other kind of mechanical work completed on your vehicle. I was told it would take 45 minutes to get to my truck for the inspection, but they got to it within 5 minutes! I spent about 35 minutes total getting my inspection and oil changed today so the service is very quick. I will be coming back to this place often for oil changes and other routine maintenance work. This is a very reputable shop with honesty and integrity leading the way! I highly recommend Pioneer Automotive for work on any domestic or foreign vehicle!!

This place will try to rip you off! I went in for a oil change on a BMW and they tried to charge me $254 ! Originally, a Pioneer lady employee tried to convince me to get a flush along with the oil change and the original price was $384! They literally tried to convince me that BMW required this type of “special oil” which would’ve made my oil change $254. I called BMW while i was in the store and the Pioneer supervisor magically lowered the price down to $181.45. Needless to say, BMW dealership final price for an oil change was $145. Do not let this company rip you off!

They’re nice but they’re more like a car dealer’s service place now that likes to try to talk you into a lot of extra repairs and service when all you really wanted was an oil change. They tried to talk my wife into a bunch of service we didn’t need.

My daughter went in for an state inspection and was informed that it would not pass due to it leaking power steering fluid. Their quote for repairs was $2.100 dollars. Daughter came home literally crying. Seeing as though I have never had to fill fluids in her car and nothing leaking in driveway I decided to get a second opinion. Took car over to Advance Auto off 377 in Denton. They inspected the power steering and could find no problems what so ever. Did not charge me a thing! We took the car to a different inspection place and passed with flying colors. Pioneer will not be getting anymore business from our family.

Been taking my vehicles to Pioneer for years always have done a great job !!!

TLDR: I asked them to align my vehicle. They called with a 1800 repair saying it was needed and had to be done to accurately align the vehicle. Upon pickup I asked for the alignment report and was told excuse after excuse of why they didnt have it. Took me going back up there for them to offer to throw it on the lift. I asked for a refund, which they gave but they swore up and down it was done.I got confirmation *with a report from another shop this morning that they never aligned my vehicle. I got all the proof I needed to stay away from this business. Needless to say they are checking this shops 1800 repair to make sure legal action isnt needed.

I had a great experience with Pioneer automotive, Brenda the lady who works at the desk was excellent. Great customer service and great technicians. I had my transmission flushed for general maintenance. I will definitely be coming back.

My vehicle had a brake issues so based on the relatively good google reviews I decided to give them a try. I was quoted over $1600 for a brake job, 4 new rotors, new pads and flushing fluid. The charge for fluid was almost $170. I was also given other quotes for over $1500 for other repairs needed.I took the vehicle to a place I have used before and basically got the same work out the door for $699. The place I ended up having the work done informed me front rotors were not needed and charged $75 for the fluid replacement.My response: Not sure how you can say I am not making an apples to apples comparison or assume I may not know what I am talking about. It was a relatively routine brake job and I did call to fully understand the quote to make sure I wasnt the one missing something. I also researched the price of high end parts for my vehicle online to make sure I was informed. My initial post is based solely on facts, not assumptions and I offered no opinions.

I have used this Pioneer Automotive many times. The team is extremely knowledgeable and they give an upfront estimate before they do any work on your car. Once approved by the customer to do the work, it’s ready within the time frame given. Kristan, Drew and Will are the Client Service Advisors who work closely with the customer to give fair and comparable estimates. I love working with all of them and it’s nice to go into a business where they know me by name. As an added bonus, their waiting room has been remodeled and is comfortable and extremely clean. Kristan also makes some yummy popcorn to munch on while you wait. Five+ stars all the way!!

Our Power Steering was really bad. They supplied a loaner car at no cost without me asking. They also offered me a ride home with pickup when car was repaired. This Team is so friendly and treated me with kindness.This business gave us a wonderful assessment of what our car needed to be repaired. The report was emailed to us with very clear photos of the damaged areas to be repaired.They are now our Automotive Company of choice. We felt like a member of their family!

Who walks in, to get their car repaired, with a big smile on their face? NOT me. Will has fantastic “under the hood” manners! I was most impressed with his down played confidence in the work they do at Pioneer. I told him I was going to get another bid/opinion - he didn’t send me away with normal things like “you’ll be back” which I hate - it’s like a challenge and it makes me NOT want to go back. He didn’t bad mouth other shops - he just said “ask them about their warranty”. After my second bid - I took the car back to Pioneer for the work late on Thursday. I needed my car the following Saturday at noon. They finished up early on Friday exceeding my expectations! Great job everyone from the front office and throughout the garage!

My family has been loyal to pioneer automotive for many years and we usually get all of our repairs done here, however my recent experience has led us to find service elsewhere. I took my car in because the AC stopped working and paid $230 in repairs for them to fix it. When they gave my car back the AC was still blowing hot air so I took it back. They assured me the AC was blowing at 55°F which was simply not true. They then told me I was right and it wasnt working because I had a broken hose which they quoted me $900 to fix. I felt like they were completely taking advantage of me so I took my car to a different mechanic for a second opinion who confirmed that not only was my hose fine, but a $900 quote to replace a hose was a complete scam. Advanced auto repair was able to diagnose the problem and fix my AC for $150 in a single day and it has been blowing nice and cold ever since. Im extremely disappointed in the service I received at pioneer automotive and Id hate to think they tried pulling one over on me simply because Im a woman, but asking $900 to fix a part that costs less than $50 and wasnt even broken is absolutely inexcusable. My family and I will be bringing all of our automotive business to Advanced Auto Repair from now on and I highly suggest the same to others.

Standard automotive shop, just family owned. The plus side of family owned is youre always going to see the same management, and they actively read their review and respond. Based on some Ive seen, Id recommend speaking with them before writing a negative review, to give them a chance to address privately. However, just as I would recommend with any chain/franchise, shop your quote around for best prices.

Took my car for a diagnostic and they listed $3000 worth of items that needed to be repaired. I went to the dealership the next day for a second opinion and the dealership identified literally none of the problems Pioneer listed. The dealership did however list the real items that were causing the problems.Pioneer has nice people, but I will never take my car there again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

I just moved here and am in the process of getting my vehicle registered. Decided to stop at Pioneer to get my state inspection done. The staff is friendly, honest, and polite. Theres a sweet little dog that is their security system who just watches out the front window too. She is also friendly and polite. All in all, it was a good experience, and I will be taking my vehicles to them should I require to do so in the future.

Did not get other estimates so I wasnt sure if their prices were fare compared to the dealer. Ill give them another try soon on other repairs needed.

The best auto service shop in town I always take my cars there the mechanics are awesome and the staff and owners are very courteous.

I took my car into the shop to have a safety inspection done, to get an oil change and to rotate my tires. While my car was there they told me I needed some work done ($2600), they gave me the estimate which was 2x the amount from anywhere else. They said I needed to have part changed out so I looked up the part and I found it for 600 dollars but they told me that the part was 1200 alone. There were other things they said I needed fixed. But I told them to just do what I brought my car in for originally for. So I picked up my car after they told me they finished. The next day I tried to register my vehicle but my safety was not showing up in the DMV database. So I called Pioneer to see if they had completed everything they were supposed to. The person I spoke with said there must be something wrong with the DMVs website and that I should call them. So I did and I had to wait on hold for 45 minutes before I was told Pioneer didnt enter the safety inspection results. So I called Pioneer again and this time they checked to see if they actually did my safety inspection. The person came back on the phone and said that they didnt do it at all. So they said to bring it by to have it done. By this time I waited a half a day during a workday. I would never recommend Pioneer Auto to anyone. They are scammers and are only trying to scare you into paying 2x the amount.

Had low power steering fluid on state inspection so they looked for a leak and said I needed new rack and pinion steering for over $2000! I checked with 3 other mechanics and they said it was unusual to fail due to low power steering fluid and that there was an unusual puncture in the cv boot but it wasnt leaking all over the place and that the hole was suspect since it was clean around it (and not leaking fluid) but the rest of the underside was really dusty. No one directly said that Pioneer punctured it but the situation was peculiar. The other 3 mechanics quoted at least $200 (or more) lower for Pioneers suggested repairs. On top of it what was really needed was some brakes and rotors fixed and NOT the rack and pinion steering. Even the dealership price was lower than Pioneers price quote! I cant recommend this mechanic even though the service people were friendly and kind.
