I love Total Wine. Great selection and great prices. As someone who doesn’t drink, going to the liquor store can be overwhelming when trying to get gifts for family/friends. But I can always find what I need. The only thing I don’t like about this location is the staff tend to ask “can I help you” a lot. I typically like to browse and look at options (I am very indecisive). However, staff would ask me every few min if they can “help me” and mention how long I had been their. Always stressed me so I know either order for pickup or go to another liquor store to browse.

First time Ive been in. Wow never saw so much beer, wine, and spirits in one place. The people were super helpful but not clinging. I was fun to watch the way the employees interacted with each other.

The employees here are the most friendly and helpful people. They notice you and ask you the customer if they can help you find anything. Even the vendors who are stocking their product will happily assist you. The store is clean and kept neat. I was impressed that upon entering they asked the customers without a mask if they needed one & enforced their mask policy. Great job Denton store!

I went here once when I first came to Denton and at that time the staff were rude which, after speaking with the manager, made a ton of sense. The store was fine physically however, and the selection seemed fairly regular/standard. Get in, get out and youll probably be alright.

I am used to going to this location in the past and purchasing a select type of beer. However, compared to the Virginia locations I recently visited the only thing they have over VA is liquor. Due to VA law liquor is only sold at VABC stores. I do not drink liquor, only beer. This location doesnt carry my beer anymore/ has not ordered it in some time and when asked they said the distributor is walking around somewhere maybe and to go ask them... I still love Total Wine but this visit to this location didnt do it for me.

The only issue that Ive ever had was that during their recent renovation, they were relocating some of the product, and for some reason, the particular rum that I drink was oddly split: For several weeks, apparently the 1.75L size, which is what I usually get, had been moved to a new location, while the 750mL were still still left in the original spot. I got a different brand for a little while, but I asked one of the employees there, and he figured out what had happened and guided me to the right location.Honestly, thats my worst experience there. Ive never had anyone greet me with anything other than a smile and an offer to help. Even if the employees are busy, theyll stop what theyre doing and answer a question. The selection is great, the employees know their product, I dont know if prices in Texas are state-mandated like they are in some states, but Ive never seen any kind of real difference in price between Total Wine and any other store Ive been to. And when you add in their easy-to-use loyalty program, you get that five dollars off every so often and a free gift bag about as often as I need them, and thats a bonus that I havent seen at any of the other stores around the area. Yeah, its only something like a five dollar coupon for every hundred or two you spend or something like that, but its still five dollars better than nothing.Ill be a regular customer there as long as they dont change things, and as long as Im still drinking.Thanks for all you do.

Went to Denton location yesterday. Bought a bottle that was in a case. Sales associate said they would have it at customer service for us. Interesting that the customer in front of us at checkout had the same bottle but they let him carry it to check out. Difference? My husband is black. So i guess black people are the only people who aren’t allowed to carry a bottle that came out of a case to the front. We won’t be back.

Ok prices mostly, some staff are great and very helpful knowing what theyre talking about, manager seems to not have it together at all. All 18 of us started going to liquor outpost instead now. 3-4 star if the staff would stop wearing masks, its lowering their immune systems and increasing the chances of customers contracting something. We also do not support communist business🖕🏽

Though I hate being on the loop, I love coming here to get my wine. I have forgotten a box once before and they gave me one to carry my wine out. Very clean store, well organized and everyone is so helpful. Even fellow patrons are kind. I have attached photos of our favorite red wine.

Today we went in and had the pleasure of dealing with Patrick, and he is every meme you have ever seen of “Minimum wage should be $15 dollars per hour”. He was leaning against the conveyor playing on his phone, and it took a good minute to get him to look up from it even as/after he walked towards his register. To top everything off, these jack wagons don’t accept a state issued LTC as legal form of ID. Overall it was just a garbage experience, and I’ll let them keep being worthless as I shop elsewhere.

It was an awesome experience I just with the selection was bigger! I love Martin House and there wasnt very many kinds from that brand, but Jason was able to give me great recommendations that helped substitute for Martin House. Couldnt be happier with ym experiance.

A HUGE selection and great prices. I went in yesterday looking for some whiskey. An employee, Ivory, approached and asked to help me. She was VERY helpful, walking me through options, and even letting me taste a few!

This is my go to spot for liquor and beer. One of my favorite TW&M locations in DFW! However, if you’re looking to grab a nice cigar, I recommend staying away and just going to a cigar shop.I stepped into the cigar humidor for somehow the first time ever today. A humidor should be kept around 63% to 70% relative humidity. When I walked in, the meter on the wall said 33% which is BAD news. Every cigar I felt was hard as rock, a few even made some cracking noises. Undoubtedly tens of thousands of dollars worth of actually great cigars are well on their way to being totally ruined. I let a cashier know but I’m not sure how much she cared as the humidor is a tiny portion of the store. However, I hope someone takes care of it soon. The prices were great, but in their current condition, most of the flavorful tobacco oils have dried up and cannot be restored and are not worth paying for.

Everything imaginable you would need for drinks. Only thing is they dont carry drink decorations such as umbrellas etc. as you would think. Was hoping for a one stop shop since it was all pertained to making drinks.

My wife forgot her id and they would not sell me liquor even if I had mine. We are both over 30 years old.

Stopped in at this location to see what they had to offer. I was caught off guard to find so many Balcones store picks that were of excellent quality. I picked up a True Blue cask strength aged in Olorossa barrels, along with a few single malts aged in a french oak barrels. I absolutely love Balcones and this store knocked it out of the park. The prices were good and the staff was friendly - thank you.

I felt the experience was exactly as advertised.

The only way I can describe Total Wine is to compare it to the feeling you had as a kid when you walked into a giant candy store. First youre in awe, then youre excited and then you have the realization that this could all end poorly if I dont exercise some restraint 😉. Seriously though, every kind of alcohol you could want and the workers there are friendly and helpful. I always seem to find what I need and then some more that I just want to try.Great place.

They always have a great selection and Ive never had a problem finding what I want. The staff is always cheerful, helpful and not overwhelming. In my experience theyve been knowledgeable without seeming like their pushing specific products. I love their rewards program too.

Youve reduced the wine inventory at this store by nearly half. Due to this, its no longer my 1st choice for buying wine via a retail chain. The selection of offerings are more limited and smaller wineries have lost shelf space. Its now a classic example of big box retail with only a set amount of offerings.

This place is always clean and organized well. The staff is friendly and willing to help.

10/10 worst experience, gas stations are better.Great variety of choices BUT If you’re not 22, DONT COME HERE. Had me waiting in line for twenty minutes doing multiple id checks, had four different employees check my VALID TEXAS drivers license and I’m above 21 about to to be 22 and this is by far the worst and most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered, not only was it embarrassing for me but also a huge waste of time when I went in there for just a single bottle. And might I add that I’ve been here multiple times and this is the first time I had this much hassle.

Great prices, and selection. Generally the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Curbside pickup is pretty fast and convenient. Plus new laws allow frequent buyer discounts, so you can save a few bucks, and Im all about that.

Im thinking they would want to train more than just stock placement finders.12/22/20 evening update: As I dont frequent stores such as this it is indeed a challenge, but Christmas is what it is and one likes something special at times. The guy in the area I was in was too busy scanning tags to be bothered by anyone asking questions, and highly unknowledgeable of the product selections available (and I also had to chase him down two aisles over for an additional query). Lies were told about availability, and when called out on it thanks to Google (I really wanted this liqueur). He threatened to call the police on another customer not wearing a mask. He also used a lame excuse about Total Wine inability to import products due to covid and such. I took my money and my shopping somewhere else.2017 - I went in looking for the one item they dont carry. Not sure if thats a good or a bad thing. The clerk looked it up, said it was very popular but they didnt carry it. No other to try and order it either.

Store is okay and I come here fairly often but today the service felt passive aggressive. If youre about to close, just say so instead of constantly crowding me without actually giving any info. Having the closing early sign at eye level out front instead of way up high wouldve been nice as well.

I love the staff here they always have great suggestions for types of spirits and brands of liquor as well as mixers that work well together.And best of all they carry Balcones one of my favorite whiskey brands that is located in Waco Texas.

Although I’m from Dallas, I came up to this Denton Total Wine & More because all the ones near me were out of my favorite beer. In fact, they were the only store I could find that had it in stock, which is impressive for whoever does their inventory management. This one had 10 six packs for me to grab, which should last me quite a long time, but I didn’t want to have a coronavirus-inspired distribution drought last any longer than it already had! They were well stocked with beer, liquor & wine. Staff was amazingly friendly and even helped me track down more of what I was looking for, as well as asking if they could help. For example, the guy in the beer section even combined individual cans into a six pack for me so I didn’t have to pay single can prices. Prices are good like all of their stores, and parking is easy because it’s a HUGE lot with multiple big box retailers in a retail park. Variety was also super massive, per usual. They also have fairly wide aisles which are conducive to social distancing effectively, which made me feel very safe. It’s a fairly long haul from my house, but I’d definitely go back there if/when I’m in the area, or when the store closer to my house is out of stock.

I like this store, it’s always kept clean. I think some of the staff could use an attitude adjustment, but the majority of them are friendly. They are also really on top of checking IDs, which I like. I can imagine it pisses off older people but people need to understand they’re just doing their job... can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people get fussy because employees ID them. You should just be flattered and get on with your life, that’s what I think. All in all, a great place to shop.

Good collection and good staff

This is the best place to find a large variety of alcoholic beverages. They have a large selection of everything, including craft beers. The prices are unbeatable, at least from what I have seen. The store attendants are always on hand and are extremely helpful. In fact, there are few stores with service reps as friendly as here. Dont be afraid to ask them where to find something and if it is not on the shelf, they might have more fo what you are looking for in stock in the back.

I was so happy to come in and buy some new things. Everything was fine except for when I went to check out. The young gentlemen cashier referred to me as a child in a negative way and said to my older brother” it must suck to bring him with you.” Just cause I needed an ID check. Nothing but rudeness. I’ve been coming here for two years and never been so disrespected.

Fantastic selection of wine, beer and spirits. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Today I just went in for beer ( nothing really obscure) and found exactly what I was looking for in the Texas Beers section. The cashier looked at my selections and made some other recommendations that I intend to try out in the future.

This place is phenomenal. The selection is great, staff is not only friendly but knowledgeable about the products they carry. They have a house brand of vodkas that I LOVE! Raspberry, Red Berry, whipped cream... the list goes on! I also love Malibu and the always have the big bottles. I dont drink a lot or often, so I dont have to venture in here too many times a year, but they always have some kind of sale going on. They even have the tiny bottles so you can try the flavors with out major commitment to a large bottle and end up hating the entire bottle. Try it out! You wont be disappointed.

I wish I had taken a picture of the inside of this store because it is awesome. Everything is well organized, there is a massive selection of alcohol and a decent humidor for cigars. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. I dont live in this area but I wish the store by my house was this nice. Dont bother going anywhere else, this place wont disappoint.

Total Wine and More has the best selection of liquor and wine. Most recent trip was for white wines and we were able to find a couple of favorites along with several new vineyards to try. The staff is really helpful and can suggest items based on your criteria. Prices are good and we love the discount for buying six or more bottles.
