Great customer service, always clean, and everything is tidy!

I went to buy a hoodie on a cold day, and it was marked as $48. I ended up paying $68 and when I asked they told me it was because of tax. That’s over a 35% tax rate and the state of Texas has a sales tax between 6.25-8%. So what happened here?

Amelia literally answered every question I had and she was so nice! I wasn’t on hold for very long at all. They got me to the right person quickly.

Overpriced, they have too much influence over unt and charge more for online books than the publisher charges.

Needs to be better stocked in some areas, but otherwise it was ok.

Friendly people here, good deals, price matching & so on. I did my shopping online & went in person to pick it up. It was ready the day I ordered. One item that was out of stock, they backlogged and would contact when it was ready. Lots of apparel & they commonly have sales.

Bought my graduation cap and gown recently. Cant wait to graduate UNT!! My four years in this University went super fast! Ive visited Barnes and Noble for multiple times but this place is cleaner than other Barnes and noble. Also, if you want to buy UNT themed apparels, then you should come to this place and try on before you buy them. Good bye UNT!

They have pretty much everything you can need or want. The only issue with buying things here is just how overpriced they can be. I understand that its on a college campus, but as college students, we dont always have that kind of money to spend. The staff is super nice and friendly so I still come here when it is more convenient.

It was easy finding what I needed, however they do not price match despite the numerous large banners saying We price match textbooks! The Campus Bookstore down the street had it for $28 cheaper and Barnes and Noble still refused the price match. Just a warning for when you go, do not hold high expectations for them to match the price.

Rented a book online For $31.25and paid for it then I called to confirm if I could pick up the book since I live in Dallas. Got to the bookstore just for the lady at the front to tell me it’s $69 to rent the book . This is not the first time they have done this to me. they need to make sure their pricing is correct before posting books on the websites We are students not Bill Gates, and money doesn’t grow on tree. Some of us have to stay within a budget . Again we are students !!!

The two employees I talked to just told me to ask other employees. I just wanted someone to look up a book for me.

My daughter already graduated this year, but I still love to go shopping there.

Barnes & Noble at UNT offers a wide selection of academic materials and Eagle merchandise. It is everything you can expect from a store on campus; it provides everything you could possibly need in the most convenient location but at a high price. Aside from that, it is usually not too busy and is visually appealing. Once I needed help and an older woman who works here was very friendly to me, so that was a pleasant experience.

I only buy from here when I have to. Everything is over price. The texts books they sell can be bought cheeper online or other book store both new and old. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Trips here are quick and even quicker if you get help from the staff.

Very helpful staff. I was looking for a gift for my brother and a staff member turned me on to their games and demonstrated a terrific familiarity with the various products. So grateful for her help.

They sold me three differential equations books (same exact ones) and told me I needed all of them then gave me a hard time about getting a refund on them. They also tried to sell me an organic book for my quantitative analysis class - which was not needed. I have also had several other incidents where they sell me the wrong book for the class.

There is a great selection of books, university merchandise, and even clothing. Great location inside probably the busiest or most visited building in campus. I went there because of a ACUI conference, and enjoyed visiting the store. I imagine UNT students take full advantage of this store.

The bookstore is clean and organized. Things are always very easy to find, and I have never waited for long in a line, if one at all. All the staff is helpful and attentive.

I like to visit Barnes and Noble from time to time. They have a great collection of books and educational toys for kids and other interesting things as well.

You can almost buy anything here. From book to electronics to food. This place is great, I wish it could have been a bit bigger similar to Cal poly pomonas bookstore.

Quite an experience honestly. The employees are always kind and with a smile, willing to go out of their way to help as much as they can. Almost everything for sale are costly including the snacks. Getting textbooks and online codes can be a struggle due to lack of restock. Always special order when getting text books here. I dont, but it doesnt hurt to ask them how since it will help in the long run. Seriously the prices for the school swag is expensive.

The bookstore has just about anything you need and more, but at inflated prices, especially with textbooks. Still, the merchandise selection is great.

Ill start with I have had no problems for 3 years but this semester has been very disappointing. I ordered a book two weeks ago and have not received it. I went into the store and was told it would be ready a week ago. I have called to cancel it for multiple days and have not even been able to talk to anybody, left multiple voicemails, sent an email and have heard nothing. Not an update on my order or a cancelation notice. I wanted to give more stars but lack of communication is extremely disappointing.

Cool place to get your books and Mean Green attire. They have alot more than just cheap tshirts. Students and Mean Green fans should check it out. Staff is friendly, most appear to be students which is great because they care about helping you.

UNT has a monopoly on books and it makes no sense. Prices too high, despite us already giving them a lot of money for tuition. Cant over charge for tuition, while also primarily supporting sports teams, and also make textbooks outrageously expensive. Go to Campus bookstore and Voertmans, this place is too much.

Overpriced thematic garbage. With how much we make for the University in underpaid labor, recognition, and tuition our books should be free, our supplies reasonable, and our lives shouldnt be surrounded by corporations looking to make a buck on our necessities.

I found a really awesome manga at this bookstore it was called Girl From The Other side. I checked it out and really loved it.

The bookstore is very nice and clean but I racked up a total of $900 on books for the semester. Go to the campus bookstore on Eagle Drive and easily spend half that.

Purely functional university book store.It sells a plethora of UNT merchandise, has a small recreational books section, snacks and college supplies, and college books.Staff is primarily functional, but with l ok w motivation. Mostly just college students trying to earn a paycheck with bosses just wanting to maintain the status quo.

The main problem is the prices, it just cant compete with online books. other than that its a great bookstore with nice folks.

I get my books here for UNT and they’re super helpful with my stipend and my financial aid. If the staff don’t know what to do they always get someone who does and the managers are v polite.

I have done business in store and online and was pleased with both the inventory and customer service. The students who work at the store have all been very helpful as well.

I go here to get my books for class or to return them for cash most books resale during and after finals week I have not had issues with them just one about my Spanish book I ended up taking the course sometime this Summer.

This bookstore is petty nice but the books and school supplies are more expensive than at other stores. However, Ive been able to get them to buyback my books for 50% of the original price I paid.

Every time I go I look for the Sport Kilts that you can only buy from here, and they never have one. That really disappoints me. Otherwise, all of their gear is generic stuff for exorbitant prices. I dont know about the actual bookstore, but their merch isnt worth the prices they charge

Prices are a bit ridiculous. A Columbia fleece with a unt logo is $80 and the exact same fleece at the Columbia store without the logo is $25.99.

Son needed some things for school, they have everything a student or parents could want to show support for the university. Staff was very and attentive.

Almost every school supply item is overpriced and you can practically find the same thing at walmart for less. However, the school merchandize is amazing. Yes, it is pricey, but oh my gosh the merchandize is worth the money. Clothing, decor, decals, mugs, frames, etc. They do not accept flex here! Dont try it lol.

They had general stuff college supplies and textbooks. However they also had books by the professors which had a lot of local native American history and other topics. I dont recall other campuses that had this section.

Not a single book for this semester arrived on time. One of them is entering week five of the wait. Prices are generally fine, but staff working the general textbook counter are awful.

Unt book store has everything you would need for the day.

Pre-ordered a book, they couldnt price match because the book has not come in. When I pick up the book they wont price match because the receipt they give me is not the same as my original receipt, so they told me to come back with the book. When I go back the next day with the receipt and the book, they say that since the competitor did not have the book in stock they could not price match. They would not let me return the book because I left with the book the day before and the return period ended two days prior, which no one told me. They wasted my time for a week and a half, always having an excuse, and lying to my face.
