I love this place!The pumpkin waffle is amazing, and I’m not even a pumpkin spice addict lol. Amber is one of the best servers and I request her every time I’m there. Eating at the great egg feels like eating with family.?

I will admit, the aura around the restaurant is pleasant and cozy. However, I would recommend you do not come into this establishment on a busy Sunday afternoon. When entering we were greeted and asked how many was the party and the name. The girl at the front went to the hostess and repeated our name and party number, though she never put our name down. We waited for thirty minutes and realized parties just arriving were getting seated before us. We checked up on our status and it seemed we were never put down on the list. The hostesses never made accommodations and let us wait like we just came in. Fortunately it was only a 7 minute wait by then. When we sat down we were quickly greeted again by our server, Kari, she was very attentive to our table and made sure we were taken care of. Without Kari, no doubt the review would only be one star.

Excellent breakfast place with fresh squeezed juices! Excellent service, great team working together to make your experience pleasant everytime your there! If you havent tried it; your missing out!

This place is clean and the food is always made fresh.They also have great customer service that is worth a well deserved tip!

The service was great!! The food has no flavor. The pancakes are made of wheat so to cover the flavor they burn it. The pork sausage tastes like turkey sausage and water. The biscuits and gravey tastes like bland paste and the over medium eggs still have runny whites... the scrambles are very small. My husband got the Colorado scrable... make sure to bring your own salsa bc this had NO flavor or spice. The wafle looked huge but when you cut in the whole middle was hallow. I was super excited about the atmosphere and people are nice, but we wont be back.

The first time I was here service was fine, and food was less so, but not worth leaving over. Im not writing about that experience.The second time I went there....they told me 10 to 15 minutes and forgot me. They took my name down and straight forgot me. I waited an hour and left, and yes maybe the waiting was my fault-I shouldve said soemthing, but the place was relatively steady so I didnt want to be pushy.

Favorite granddaughter’s favorite place. She loves the blueberry pancake with hot chocolate… even in the middle of summer. I love everything else. We always have the best servers. Today it was Kari. She was precious!

This is the best bang for your buck in a 20 mile radius. We have been here 10 times and the food is great quality across the board. Crab cake Benedict’s for $12?!? Best Tuscan scramble I’ve ever had! Omelets are superb! Great job!

Ive couple times and it serves some of the best best breakfast items ever! When I went yesterday their waffles were amazing and the eggs were cooked exactly like I asked. The service was very good and everyone was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Incredible breakfast, brunch and lunch spot for years! The Eggs Benedicts are delicious as are the Belgian Waffles. I love the Chicken Apple Walnut Sandwich and the Reuben. When I am in the mood for a salad I love the Greek Salad. Today I had the Bacon Avocado Scramble and my friend had the Hikers Benedict. YUMMMMM!!!

First off, is it the Egg and I or the Great Egg? Two different signage. Do not order an omelette because they don’t know how to fix one. They made a crepe with eggs and put in the middle cold uncooked ingredients. I ordered an omelette with spinach, tomatoes and ham. All were sitting on the inside of this egg disc. It was pitiful. The manager then comes over and starts to insult me stating I don’t know how an omelette is actually cooked, am I even from Texas and I don’t know what I’m talking about. We have lived in Denton for over 20 years. I have NEVER had an omelette made that way. Ever. Anywhere. We have been going here since they opened. We won’t be back. Absolutely pathetic.

Came in for lunch place was not even busy sat 7 minutes could not even get a waitress to wait on me. Another couple came in way after me sat down immediately got service.

I love this place, good service, generally good food. But DO NOT get the heuvos rancheros. It is pitiful. No chile, but they made it xmas for me mild red salsa and gross guac. Why Texas so hard, Great Egg?

I just left the restaurant and the service is horrible. The lady at the front didn’t greet me. So I said hello, she then asked me was I door dash. Wow! I finally sit down and no one helps me. I just wait and wait and wait. Finally, I’m like is this real??? I get up and leave. What a joke!!! Horrible

I do dash and they are always friendly and fast I havent tried their food but it always smells so good

The Great Egg in Denton is truly a GREAT place to come eat some freshly cooked dishes. I enjoy bringing my family here for breakfast, my daughters enjoy choosing a sweeter meal, while my wife and I go for a healthier option. This restaurant never disappoints us and we look forward to enjoying our meals here! Keep up the amazing job!P.S The new name suites you! You guys are Truly GREAT!!!

We used Uber Eats to deliver our food. It was well prepared, and the breakfast orders and sandwich order tasted great!When the restaurant quit the Egg and I franchise, I thought the quality would not be as good. I can report that the food is just as good!! Jack, Denton TX

I like this place better than IHOP but there are better options if you are willing to drive to the other side of town.
