Last week was fine as I only got grilled cheese and the guy making the food at the ordering station was extremely kind and polite. However, yesterday my mom went in to buy some pizza and wine (for herself). Although the same guy at the ordering station was still polite and kind to me, the employee at the cash register, Jakob (or Jacob), didn’t believe that my mom was my mother. She’s a brown skin black woman and I’m a fair skinned biracial (black and white). He wanted to not only see an ID card from my mom, but from me too. I didn’t have one and she was the one who was paying for the stuff (mind you i stated earlier that the wine was for herself since she’s older than 21). He assumed that I wasn’t her daughter and that I was just a friend or stranger that she was buying alcohol for. He’s not only ignorant since nowadays you can’t always assume people’s race and paternity just by skin color in some situations but he also made my mom feel insulted because he assumed that she would give a minor alcohol (im 18). We will NEVER go back and that’s why.

Came across 35 to get a milkshake, getting there is inconvenient because the construction and weird stoplight when arriving from the east. Theres a small community of deranged birds (9+ at the time) that domesticated themselves around the gas pumps. The kitchen appeared to be not up and running, and the tap-to-order screens were off. The couple of clerks inside were keeping things going, but it seems kinda run down. A once reliably upstanding place is now a relic of convenience outdated and forgotten. Never got my milkshake :(

Best gas station I’ve been too in awhile. James, one of the cashier’s, is a legend. Dude checks out two people at once and can get through a 20 person line in minutes.

Was here at 9pm 2/23 and not one employee had their mask on correctly. One in the back of the store near the beer had his completely off and talking loudly and disruptively. This is unacceptable, irresponsible, and disrespectful. I work 10 hours a day on my feet and have no issue wearing a mask. Please educate your staff sufficiently on safety protocol. Everything else was fine and they were hustling, which I appreciate. But the blatant disregard for public health is inexcusable.

Cheap gas. And snacks.

Ok prices but Im so sick and tired of the lazy homeless bums they allow to loiter and panhandle on their premises. Has made me take my business elsewhere until they clear this matter up.

Stopped at QT because i didnt want to make my own coffee. I gave them a one star because staff werent wearing mask. Cashier Colton wanted me to break the 6 foot rule by directing me to within 1 foot of another customer. All lives matter Mr. Colton even your. grandparents

Update: This QT continues to be incredibly clean! Always has iced coffee in stock, the staff are ultra kind! Most places go downhill a year or so after opening, this continues to be our favorite road trip stopping place!——The staff at this QT are awesome! As is the manager. I always look for a QT when I need to eat, get fuel or use the facilities. They’re so clean!Today there was a mess in the woman’s bathroom...blood yuck...and the manager got right on it! I love this QT!

Siarra was working the counter when I came in for my standard breakfast (GC w/egg and tomato). She never looked up or greeted me, after I got my ticket I waited for nearly a minute before she acknowledged myself or my order. Once I got the sandwich to the truck and took a bite I realized there was no egg and the cheese wasnt melted all the way. I walked back in and again had to force her to acknowledge my existence. I informed her of the mistake and she rolled her eyes and said, Fine, Ill remake it. This is not the usual service I get, for either customer relations or order accuracy. But if Siarra is working the counter you should probably check your order before you leave. THIS REVIEW IS LOCATION SPECIFIC

This place is usually hopping! And by hopping, you might take it as hectic, as there seems to be a challenge to pedestrian and motorists alike, to maneuver from the fuel pumps to the doors.., still the better choice in the area for your Quick Stop needs.

Like any QT the place is spotless. The people are friendly and for the summer cheap drinks. Have fun friends.

This quiktrip in particular is weird. cashier asks, how are you. I say, good, how are you? he says im still thinking about it. and then he kind of pokes fun at how young i look. he misheard me at one point, thinking that I said that he looks old- i dont remember what i said that even sounded like that, but i would never talk to a cashier in that manner. he kind of yelled after me saying i know im old! theres only so many encounters that you get in denton, and for some reason i feel like this was a strong representation of most of them.

QT has the most friendliest staff i have ever seen in a gas station. Kudos to their trainers!

One of the cashiers was hateful to me for using food stamps and announced it to the whole store. When an elderly man offered to pay for my things she proceeded to be rude to him for helping me.

Good size, great workers but small area.
