Abigail in the bakery made sure to make my daughter’s first birthday cake and cupcakes perfect! We had great communication to ensure we had exactly what I was wanting. Not only we’re they beautiful, but they were delicious! I highly recommend!

Good meat specials today. And I found out from a mailed Ad, NOT DIGITAL! Otherwise, I would have gone to Kroger. Albertsons, you need to have more multi level ad campaigns. You might as well get out of the business and sell off to Kroger if you continue to skimp on advertising!!!!!

Food is fine, but the last three times i have been in this store, like 4 items in hand, trying to use the self check out (which has a large sign hanging above about limiting the number of items) there have been people with FULL grocery carts checking out there. and the employees working the self check say nothing about it. super rude of the customers and super negligent of the employees.

Coming from a home grown in Albertsons for 35 years. This one in Denton still gives the Albertsons neighborly feel.

My daughter and I stopped in to pick up meat and all the meat I wanted had expired yesterday. This has happened a number of times before. While I was looking at the meat my daughter had to use the restroom. She didnt because it was filthy with paper all over the floor and blood all over the toilet. Disgusting we wont be back.

Most pleasant COVID-19 shopping experience Ive had, store was well stocked, clean, and not busy at 5:00 on a Thursday before a holiday weekend! Super impressed!

The most expensive grocery prices in all of Denton. And they require their povery-wage-paid employees pay union dues for some useless union that does nothing for them. Any other grocery store is more preferable. They wonder why they cant attain full employment for their store. No wonder why! Treat their employees like absolute crapola.

I shopped here this evening to pick up groceries for my parents who prefer this store because it’s closer to their house. While I was there I decided to grab a Naked smoothie for myself. I knew the taste was off but got halfway through it before I checked the date. It went bad thirteen days ago. I really hope I don’t get sick and Albertsons needs to check their perishable produce.

Its a clean store. The prices are extremely high on alot of products. The cashier we had was very rude and just kept throwing our sodas. Extremely disappointed in the customer service we received. Over the years that use to be the best thing about Albertsons.

Albertsons on University Dr is an all-around quality place to shop for food products household products as well as Pharmacy and beauty Supplies and pet products. Theyve recently completed a new remodel and have added a pizza bar and a sushi bar and a Soup Bar making it a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Their Deli, Bakery, and Meat Market are a great convenience. Shopping here could be a five star experience provided the prices were lower.

Very clean and they have awesome deals. Their employees are really sweet and professional. I just got 80 dollars worth of food, signed up for their card and got 30 dollars off my entire purchase! My turkey was 17cents a lb so we only paid $3 for it!! We will definitely be coming back.

The pharmacy is over worked and does not communicate with the customer or doctors office. Lines are long

Great Albertsons lots of local and national brands.

I only shop at Albertsons for certain items. Compared to other stores in the area their prices are higher. But I must admit the produce department looks like something out of a movie. Everything is beautifully organized and displayed in such a way that entices you to shop it. Even if I didnt need any fruits and vegetables, I have to wander around just because its so pretty. The store is clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. The meat department has a lot of great sales and their deli department has a variety of ready to eat lunch choices

I enjoy shopping at Albertsons! The people there are really nice to me and my sister, the store is well kept clean, and its not so overly busy there the way Walmart is... theres just too many people there, though I love people, and they dont give me any problems. But Albertsons is just such a calm place. I love this place, because the folks at the deli area have Cheap Chicken Monday- you get chicken of any type pretty cheap! Plus I love the sausage that they always cook for us--John, Chase, and the lady that works there are some of the sweetest most kindest people Ive ever deal with! The store may not always get the 5-star rating with others, but me? Youve gotten my rating!

Really like shopping here. They continue to sanitize their shopping carts and keep the store clean. The prices can be a little higher, but the COVID safety measures and general convienence of the shopping experience make it worth the prices.

Very clean with helpful and knowledgeable staff. My Prescription is always ready when I receive a next message from them.Also nice is that 98% of the store is always well stocked.

Very friendly staff. I go here so that I dont have to deal with the freakshow circus across the street. Their meat selection is great for a grocery store.

Fino and the person who trains him in the meat department are really kind and courteous. I always come to Albertsons at the University Dr. because their meat and seafood are the best in town and the people who work in the meat and seafood department are awesome. Where else in Denton can you have your beef sliced up for your hotpot or fajita according to your specifications? The service always comes with a cheerful attitude too. Albertsons rocks.

Clean and Well Stocked. More Humane certified meats would be great. Grass fed is a good step. Produce is usually of good to excellent quality. Pricey at times, but Ill pay a little more for vegetables that arent bruised. Staff are all helpful.

Love Albertsons!! Been one of my favorites for many years!! Truly wish the app was a bit easier to use, as it seems you have to select your savings for it to count. I wish the app would give the store savings without the confusion, (like Kroger). There, I said it!!!

My favorite grocery store!! It’s so well organized, the app is great, discounts are always available and I’ve never gotten bad/spoiled product. Their pharmacy doesn’t have long lines and their pharmacy techs are so kind. I also enjoy it because it’s not overly crowded at all times of day.

First time in an Albertsons in quite a few years. I was recommended to visit because of their deals on meat. Being able to buy one pack and get one free is a huge plus! The produce department is fairly extensive and pretty good quality, plus the prices are reasonable. The store has an excellent wine selection, plus local Kraft Beers at competitive prices. The store also has a decent selection of Salon style hair products and beauty products in general. I thought the store was well merchandised and easy to navigate, so I will be returning.

I now regularly shop at Albertsons. I got tired of the difficulty I was experiencing at Walmart across the street. Albertsons has easy access to the store, is rarely crowded, and I dont have to wait for long in line. If I need to find something, it is easy to find one of the staff to help. The higher prices are worth it.

It’s a clean store. I appreciate the freshly sanitized carts offered as you walk in the door. It’s clean and well organized. Sadly most of their customers don’t wear masks so that makes me want to just get what I want and leave ASAP. I would love it more if they took the brave stand and required masks of customers.

In coming back around to being an Albertsons fan. Produce and meat are really good. Prices are in line with there competition. Just need to see it over some time.

The sale items are easy to find, the staff is very welcoming and make sure you find what you need clarified as well.The sticker campaine is awesome towards winning master chef products as well.. and thier deli items are all to die for.

Visited during rolling blackouts February 15, 16, 2021. I was able to go in as power came on, shop and receive the best of service.Just as I was rung up on the 15th, power cut off again. After deliberation, management decided to give me my groceries on the honor system whereas I would come back in to pay for my items.I returned on the 16th to pay and pick up what I wasnt able to on the 15th, shopped and ended up waiting for an hour in the dark with my basket, enjoying light conversation with their team and other shoppers.I have since returned with the wife to shop, were having issues with computer telling us to return items to bagging area when we needed to remove them to make space. Clerk watching self checkout was obviously miffed and was curt in nature by saying excuse me, bristling past me and punching in required code to proceed, leaving in the same manner. No way to speak to a customer, let alone one old enough to be your father or grandfather.I suppose its a community-minded business as long as management is watching over staff.

Clean, but somewhat limited in merchandise as many grocery stores are since the pandemic. Compared to Walmart, prices seem pretty high for same products.When I first moved to Denton this was my favorite grocery store and that stayed true for at least 10 years. Its good to check for products that are sometimes hard to find, but Albertsons doesnt always have what Im looking for either.Easy to find with lots of other businesses close by. Very convenient.

One of my favorite grocery stores in town. Everyone is friendly & helpful. They have a good deli & fresh sushi. The bakery has a nice selection. The fresh meat & seafood counter is excellent. Good beer & wine selection. The Starbucks inside is convenient too.

Randall is doing a tremendous job as a produce manager. I’m really impressed on how much work has been put into keeping the produce department looking nice and neat.
