Well to start off here, Alpine Lumber has high quality material, subpar (to be nice customer service). First off, I get it, if you are not a contractor you are probably putting in smaller revenue orders and have a ton of questions that seem like a waste of the sales reps time. However, Alpine can go a long way to coaching their sales reps to communicate with a lot less curtness, annoyed tone, and overall bad customer service that makes you regret spending thousands of dollars. A lot of room for improvement at least from the sales rep I have had to deal with, tried killing with kindness, it just got worse. Maybe sifting through lumber half the cost at home depot would have been worth it, bc at least you don’t get the feeling you are just annoying the company you are buying from. We are your customers, we have questions, you sell a product and service, act like we are somewhat of a north star.

Their customer service is pretty bad. Anytime I call they put very little effort into being helpful.

This company is awesome to deal with and they sell quality products. I just re-sided my house and they delivered the siding I needed and cedar trim I needed just like they promised, Also, like they promised, they returned and picked up the material I had that was excess and promptly credited it back to my card. Every person I dealt with (at least 6 different persons from sales, dispatch, and the delivery drivers) were polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. I think being employee-owned, the employees are invested in doing an exceptional job; it shows! I couldnt be happier.

Full service. Always have what I need. Often busy leading to slow pick up service. Its best to plan for delivery.

Ordering was fairly easy by phone. Pretty fast service and pick-up.

Weve been buying from Alpine for years and though they are disorganized and have high prices, sometimes they are great in the clutch. Today we were treated terribly and made to waste our time driving there just to have the door locked in our face 2 minutes before they closed. Thanks guys, never again.

Was going to stop by and speak with someone about the wood I need since I have a sample piece of what Im wanting, but store is closed to the public unless its a call ahead order for curbside pickup. I understand why considering that we are in the middle of a pandemic but My tape measure is back at my construction site so I cant call in with the dimensions of what I need... Mostly mad at myself but wish I could echo the great reviews that lead me here after a failed attempt to find decent wood at lowes and home depot.

Won’t be buying anything here. It’s almost July and you won’t let customers into your store even with a mask or the vaccine. That’s absurd.Sales rep was rude and minimal assistance offered.

Business, to the point, no bull, get what you need. Really helps make a project much easier. Thank you.

Great selection of redwood lumber! Bought wood to make a pergola and the selection was the best in town. We bought multiple sizes and lengths and had no trouble finding straight boards with beautiful grain. All of the employees were also great! From the people in the store to the guys out back, everyone was nice and helpful. Will definitely be going back for future lumber needs!

As a residential general contractor I turn to Tania at Alpine to help me with some of the easier stuff and often the harder to find materials I need to restore properties. She is always helpful and responsive to my needs. Thank you!

Alpine Lumber is a great supplier for custom wood, such as cedar, or any wood needs. When the wood needs to look good, I goto Alpine Lumber.

I stumbled upon Alpine Lumber Company through their charitable collaboration with Denver Home Builders Foundation. Simply amazing, they involved me in the planning process and kept me abreast of what was going on live time during the ramp/porch build-out. The quality of their work is top tier, along with the quality of the actual material they used. We are ecstatic to have PVC composite material covering the decking. These guys knocked it out in a day, sacrificing their Saturday to help my disabled mother! We are so grateful for Alpine Lumber Company and highly recommend their services!
