If I could give 0 stars I would. These people have false advertisements saying you will pay less for their products and same quality as the high end stores, well this is totally false you do pay less on some stuff but their products suck. I tried to cancel the membership due to hard financial situations and they refused to. Later on got sued, they garnished all of my income tax, had to go to court and had to pay full membership price when the contract said half. This guy is rich because of all the money he gets from hard working people that pay the membership not because of the products they advertise that they sell.

They will sue you for something you don’t owe!! BEWARE with your membership and save ALL RECEIPTS!!! I fully paid my membership and was served for collections a year later. I could not find my receipts so I had no choice but to pay another bill over $300! and then SIX YEARS LATER I was sued again for the same debt!!! Again, I pleaded that was paid in full and again, I couldn’t find my receipts from six years prior. I went in to speak to the man and he refused to discuss the lawsuit. Lawyer threatened to sue me for attorneys fees as well resulting over $700. Went to court and Right before they were gonna garnish my wages I found a checkbook with old carbon copies of my checks from several years ago. I called the collector written on a check, and they confirmed I had paid it in full!!! BEWARE! This man is scandalous and horrible at bookkeeping for being a business owner!

We have been members since 1998. We have furnished our house and bought all of our kitchen appliances through NCM.They are always very helpful.If you dont mind waiting for your things to come from the warehouse you will get great deals.They also have many smaller things in the store that you can buy at great savings.

My wife and I have been members for 5 years now. We have always been greeted with smiles and treated with the upmost respect. We have made numerous purchases during this time and have always experienced good results. Meaning, we have saved a bundle of money and always got what we ordered!

I have been a member for several years and have purchased appliances and vehicles using their pricing and connections. I have purchased kitchen items and other household items. the prices are always very much below market and quality is as stated or better.I was able to receive my initial membership fee within the first 18 months and expect to continue to receive the same savings in the future.

Always had a positive experience with NCM. Have bought several items and have not ever had an issue. They are friendly and helpful! We have been members since 2013 and once the membership was paid off have enjoyed several perks.

We had two items that were not quite what we thought we had ordered but was not sure if it was an error on our part or Consumer Mart. We have had the items for approximately 4 years and have been satisfied with them. We also purchased a complete kitchen cabinet set which really saved us a lot of money and we installed them ourselves. We have not ordered anything recently but past experiences have been good.

I have been a member for YEARS. I have purchased 1 sofa successfully. I attempted to buy another. However, it took them 3 tries, and they kept dropping it in shipping and had to reorder. By the time it came around to it, they just offered a refund since it never arrived. Then I moved out of state. I recently tried to order a sofa and love seat and some plantation blinds and the sales department tried to talk me out of it!!! It was too much work for them to look up the prices and get back to me. They said and i quote only people with million dollar homes would ever buy these types of blinds. I am sorry but how do you know what house i live in? and even if I lived in a shack, i can put amazing blinds in them if i want. I have tried to see if they will honor my refund as I am a Gold member and only saved around 200 bucks in savings. I would be cautions if i were new to signing up for a membership. They dont seem to want to help you and they dont seem to honor their contract. Also, apparently, they dont do email. So a little behind the ages in technology. I was told i can fax my request for a quote?? Website is pretty bad and they really need to do a better job with customer service.All around, they need to a revamp on their staff, their catalogs, their website, and how they run the business.

I have been a customer of NCM for almost 20 years. If you want to save money on all you are going to be buying anyways, this is a great company to be a part of. In the time I have been with them, I have moved into 2 new houses. Being brand new I needed to purchase blinds which can be quite expensive, the process was quick and easy. I have also purchased large appliances. Over time, I have taken trailers to pick stuff up from their area, and in the past we have worked out delivery options too. They have the ability to purchase from a whole myriad of types of stores and bring the purchasing savings to your pocket allowing you to either get something a little nicer, or just save money on all you home and lifestyle needs.

My husband and I have belonged to NCM for many years. We have purchased cabinetry, appliances, office supplies and gifts for our children and paid a considerable amount less than in stores. They have given us great customer service and supportWe are very happy with our membership

I have been a member for 18 years and have made many purchases from discount movie tickets to a log splitter to a top of the line stove and electric lawn mower. Very nice discounts and customer service.

Heres the real deal with NCM. They say you can buy at cost, but fail to inform you that dealers get different volume discounts. So sure you get to see cost prices on various items, but after paying a handling fee, freight, and tax. Youre paying retail and you have to wait for your items. Their savings guarantee is for items that are factory direct, and that list is small. It is a unprofessional place with its owners arguing and hollering its not worth the drive. Fight the contract in court.

Has anyone been able to get there money back from there membership?? they are a scam and its even worse now that we moved out of state and they choose where you get your items shipped from... we tried to get a recliner and the shipping was about $200 more than the cost of the recliner!!! a joke!!!!

They are a terrible company. Their pricing is not that much better than retail and their quality of product and service is not good at all.

This place is a SCAM!!!! I was told that I could call and cancel within 48 hours. No one said that they would not answer the phone/ nor that is how it really worked. I am a hard working single mom who now has to pay 150 a month to avoid being sued for a service I HAVE NEVER USED NOR WILL USE BECAUSE OF THIS PLACES LACK OF MORALS! Also no copy of the contract was given to me and just harassing phone calls due to non payment and then a lawyer calling me to set up payments to avoid going to court! I have been using National Consumer Mart for four years now and I couldnt be happier. This membership has saved me hundreds of dollars. My experience with the owners and their employees has been a pleasure! Their customer service is great and they make you feel like you are their #1 customer. We have been enjoying the savings at NCM and will continue to shop there. Their pricing is below the market and the quality of their merchandise is the best! I wish I had found NCM much earlier. I love being a part of a members exclusive store where everything is wholesale priced. However as is always the case anywhere, shipping times is an issue.

Jack is the owner. Sadly he also is the contact to customers. When you buy a membership you are no longer a customer so he doesnt believe in customer service! He is an ONION, If you have the time and want to spend the effort to peel the layers to find a caring human being go for it, I saw a hit of one once....but that just wasnt enough. He is errogant and chauvinistic, Our last converasation he said and I quoate This is why woman cant do this job. A conversation previous to that he was very unhappy that I (a woman) and the owner of a restaurant (another woman) had final say in making purchasing decisions, questioning ...I mean who makes the final decisions and I mean who writes the checks at the end of the day. We had purchased a few items in the last year but afterward I found the same items for less. As a response to this last sentence, Jack would say youre wrong as is his usual saying to non customers. I usually dont post reviews I just let things roll off and hope its just a bad day for the person/business but this time I had to let others know he is just not a nice person to work with. So much so that even IF I have to pay more for items, I will gladly do it just to avoid having to work with him. And since he IS National Consumer Mart, I will no longer be giving my business to them. Holly was the best party of National Consumer Mart, the sweetest person ever and she couldnt take it anymore. SCAM SCAM SCAM! this place will sell sell sell their great products that you could buy for half the price of other retailers! this Place is supposed to be able to find whatever you need for your home such as remodeling, home appliances, kitchenware,materials like flooring, etc. Things you would find at retailers such as Wal Mart IKEA, Home Depot, etc. We paid $500.00 for the membership start-up and was suppose to pay a fee each month. They told us all we had to do to get the products was to get the model number or CPU code and call them with it and they would find it for the wholesale price not retail. Well 4 times we called them NEEDING hardwood they could not get it or find it. We called to cancel, they said that we couldnt until we paid them for their services. What services?!?! Now they are calling us and harassing us telling us that 2900.00 is going on both mine and my husbands credit. This place needs to be Audited or something by the IRS because they paint a picture in rose colored glasses, take your hard earned money with no type of result and then take credit action to mess your credit up! BBB should be ashamed to consider it an A+ accredited business.

I have been a member of NCM for over 11 years now and have purchased a couch, dining room set, bedroom set, washer and dryer, windows and sewer ejector pit for a basement remodel, Hunter blinds for my main floor and a few other things. I have saved well over 3k. It is a steep entry fee but my wife and I were just starting out and knew we would need a lot of furniture and appliances over the next decade so it made sense for us. In one case American furniture was offering 50% off on the exact couch we looked at from NCM and that was the only time we didnt go through NCM but goes to show what the retail markup is on furniture.It definitely takes time to recover the costs and if you are not looking long term it def is not worth it.It has worked out for me.Update 1/26/16:Went in again a few weeks ago and ordered some custom Hunter Douglas blinds. It took a little time to get the order right but in the end I received them today exactly as expected and easily saved me 500$ from what I was quoted at 2 other window treatment dealers. I literally have saved thousands over the life of my membership. Again, you cant expect to get your money back by buying a vacuum or a TV. Furniture is the real savings as well as high end household finishes. Really wish others could look past the reviews here that are almost all identical to any up front membership program screaming scam, Try and get out a gym contract sometime when you realize that you arent using it anymore.

Yes some things you can get at Walmart but a lot you cant. Great for remodeling home and large purchases.
