EDIT: I want to make this VERY clear. I have NOT TOLD ANYONE to come and review this shop. I do in fact see that people are editing their reviews to try to cover up all of all of the negative ones, and that is pitiful. You seriously need to do better. It’s so disgusting that these people are posting actual photos of the fake items they PURCHASED and you are trying to say that I am sending people to leave reviews. Where do you think this pictures came from!? Clearly this shop owner is manipulative and having people gang up trying to make him seem like the victim when it’s actually the owner trying to cut cost and purchasing fraudulent items and reselling them. I have reported this to the license owners. I also want to add you did not have us look at our item prior to purchasing. Review your cameras and DO BETTER.Unfortunately, I didn’t check the reviews before shopping here. This store sells fake, and extremely poor quality figures.I purchased an item yesterday and it’s missing paint in several spots, the base was broken, the item was loose inside of the box without protective cardboard or anything. It’s clear that it’s a rip off of the original item. The owner will also be sure to keep you distracted by talking to you the entire time you’re in the store.I always try to support small businesses when I can, but honestly, you should shop anywhere but here.

Just a warning to future shoppers, the figures sold here are knock offs. I purchased this figure and not only does the stand not work, but the weapon she holds continuously falls out, revealing a VERY poorly done paint job beneath. The paint on her face is chipping and there are spots of random paint all over her legs. And on top of THAT, the stand she came with is incredibly poorly made and she cant stand without falling over. Spent 35$ on it only to find out the same knockoff is cheaper at WALMART.

Store sells fake merchandise. Here’s some proof. The boxes come with no branding at all nor bar code. Not to mention, a legit figure has cardboard reinforcing the box as well as protection the figure. These fakes do not. I will be giving this information to funimation and Bandai in any way that I can. Scamming people is wrong and the owner knows exactly what he is doing. Here is a photo of what I purchased and one of an officially licensed figure that the one I received tried to imitate.

Owner is a super nice guy. Just talked our ears off while we tried to browse. He had mentioned that he was a magician before opening this shop and looking back, it feels like he was using those methods of distraction so we wouldn’t notice that just about everything was a Chinese knock off. We spent about $90 got about $30 worth of items from Wish. My fiancé and I didn’t discover this until we were back home in NY. The figure boxes didn’t have bar codes or any real branding. That should’ve been a dead give away in the store but we were just excited to find an anime store while on vacation that we didn’t notice. Again, the guy is super nice but if he plans on continuing this, he needs to switch “suppliers” and uninstall the Wish app and get legit merchandise into the store. Nezuko has an awful paint job, Inosuke’s feet look like they had been crushed by a steam roller and Aizawa had this weird hard substance on him that resembled dried super glue. We also purchased some lanyards that looked fine at first glance but are pretty badly pixilated but that, we can get past. These figures will be displayed in the shadows of our bookshelves to hide their shame. Who knows. Maybe he just does not realize what he is doing.

This place rules! Friendly staff, knowledgeable about their anime, and bops only on the speakers! Also quality anime merch that won’t empty your wallet!! Good to hear anime music that isn’t your everyday run of the mill Naruto Bleach and One Piece openings~ I’ll be back soon!

So I have no clue where these one star reviews were shopping [and if it was even the same store], but this place is awesome! Owner is super-friendly & fun to talk with and sells his stuff at a more reasonable price than the competition does. Every figure Ive brought from him is always intact & looks great too! He also holds movie nights in the summer for the community as well! Best [and now only] anime shop in NH! =D

Enjoyable, nice environment. Affordable, reasonable prices. Nice and clean. Wide variety of items to buy with multiple different shows to pick from.The owner was very joyful and talkative. Made the experience fun, enjoyable, and comfortable.Definitely recommend to anime fans in the area.

Very local and a nice place to shop, would definitely recommend to others around. The owner was really kind and welcoming, really made it feel like a safe place for all. Majority of the merchandise is exclusive and/or from local artists! Very affordable for all anime fans. Will definitely come again.

I love this store so much! I have have been going to this store for 3 years. They have great anime merch. They have great figures cosplays and more. The owner is very nice. I would come back. I have never had issues with anything there. I would come back anytime!!!

No dount about it, like others have said...Unfortunately the figures my friend and I purchased come to find out, were 100% fake. Whether the owner is doing this on purpose or not is another qiestion.

Owner was nice enough, but followed us around and talked the whole time we were in the store. Just let me shop, dude. On top of that, most of the merch there is stuff from Wish. I didn’t realize this until I got home and was able to take a better look at everything. If I’m paying $60 for figures, they shouldn’t be poorly made knockoffs. Pretty sure it’s against some law to sell counterfeits, and it’s just insulting to sell them at retail prices. No “supplier” from “Tokyo, Japan” is selling you figures in boxes that don’t even have barcodes. I was initially very excited to find an anime store I can physically shop in, but I will not be returning. I can shop on Wish just fine by myself

Owner is a genuine person. I enjoy shopping here and I feel its great to have someone to chat with which makes me feel comfortable. Hes very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. I just think its sad for those to ruin his good name and asinine to try to ruin his livelihood. He runs a great buisness will always shop at his store. If you want quality collectables geekster is the place to go. I have never bought anything here that was defunked. Great merchandise at great prices.

Lots of cool merchandise from many different anime and series. Plushies, figures, japanese snacks and drinks, and a lot of posters and Keychain stuff! They have a lot of little stuff from a local artist.

Geeks-ter is a great anime store with very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Their inventory is full of items not found at mall stores.

I don’t think a single item sold in this shop is an officially licensed product. Owner even bragged about how he had a heat press in the back. Seems fishy. I saw a bin of artist prints and I just feel bad for those artists because after seeing the quality of everything else in the store, I’m sure it’s all stolen art. I do not support this.

I normally don’t leave reviews but I feel like this is important. The people here are very kind but just letting you know before you purchase here, that /most if not all/ the figures are fakes. I paid 50 dollars for a zero two figure which is something that looks like I could’ve gotten it off of wish for 10 dollars. As a collector I’m a bit disappointed to see fakes being sold here for the price that the original figure would normally cost. None the less the staff is extremely friendly but I just hope you guys can find a reliable distributor because people will pay top dollar for the real thing. Thanks

I have been meaning to write this review for a while. This place is the best. Both times that I have been here I had an amazing experience. Prices aren’t too high and the owner is super nice. They have a wide variety of merchandise from anime. It’s a bit of a drive where I’m from, but it is definitely worth it. If anyone is looking to start or add to their anime collection you should come here.

This man has so much energy and I love it. He has posters for tons of anime, a few small ones too. You obviously know he watches anime and I felt like I could have a conversation for hours. He has great prices and really good quality figures for real cheap. I got a 5th anniversary Mio figure for 35 dollars. If I dont go back again, assume I was killed.

Awesome shop in downtown Derry, NH. The owner knows his anime and is more than happy to help out those of us who are looking for gifts and don’t know what we’re doing.

Look Ill be frank it was hard to find a good pop culture shop since the ones in Nashua closed ....void filled...this place is a gem great selection across the board...and if youre into Japanese snacks check this place out..And if you dont see what you are looking for ask..they can probably get it for you. and let me tell you these guys know their stuff check it out

The store is very welcoming. You can always walk in and find something interesting to look at. The store owner is very knowledgable on his items and the story behind thrm which adds to the experience. He could even take in requests on future content that we would like to see in the store. Overall, i have become a regular at geekster and would encourage others to visit it.

Im not a fan of anime personally but my stepson is, and this is by far his favorite store to visit! The owner is super friendly and truly cares about the customer experience at Geekster. He (and staff) always converse about the latest shows and such and its great to watch my stepson light up when discussing anime!! Excellent work here by the owner and staff and I hope that you have continued success at your location!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff about anime model kits from anime everything you need to know you can special order stuff special order sizes of t-shirts from kids extra extra small to adult three or four extra large you know a great place to do business with in my opinion end thats about it

For the past few days this great store has been getting some poor quality reveiws just because one person had to complain like a child. This person rather say that the product they recieved was fake or broken then just going into the store and setteling their problems like an adult. I have been going to this store fore 2 years and never once had a problem with anything i bought. Yes the owner does talk alot while your in there its not to distract you or anything like that hes just excited to have people come into his store. Overall if have to go around telling all your friends to give this place a one star review just because YOU were unhappy about something just makes you look inmature and childish.

Super friendly store owner talked about anime while me and a friend shopped. He actually closes at 6pm (As of Aug 28th, 2020) so the Google hours are wrong.

We found Geekster at a comicon for kids last year and my 5 year old daughter has been in love with a little mermaid shirt she purchased from them. She has been saving all of her money so that she could buy another one this year....due to the pandemic the con was cancelled and she was upset. I found them online and reached out about any similar shirts they may have. They may her one with one of her favorite princesses and sent it to us! Great communication. Simple process. They even showed it to me before I paid for it. We cant wait to see them at the next con and shes already asking for another one! Highly recommend.

Bruh, the owner of the store was trying to convince me he had lower prices for his Pokemon cards, saying it was only 3 dollars per pack. Now I pride myself in the fact of being an avid collector of childrens cardboard and I know a scam when I see one. After feeling the packs it was obvious that there were only a few cards inside and the artwork looked like it was made by a chimp with crayons. The workers were adamant in trying to convince myself that these were real and we were getting a real steal. Let this be a fair warning to all Mothers trying please little Billy, because after opening one of these packs, he will cry for the next 8 years.
