Besides the amazing customer service and great selection. ABC went above and beyond to get ice during the hottest weekend ever. No other place had ice and ABC made it happen!!

Love this store. Has all the right stuff that you don’t want to run to the grocery store for. Actually needed capers once and they had them! The wine selection is the best! Yun does an excellent job with his picks.

Complete trash business that tried to hire my fiancée illegally without any paperwork, then canned her just an hour into her first day after she wasn’t 100% familiar with the product, while receiving zero training. The manager is a complete piece of trash. 100% unethical and illegal operation. By filing no paperwork, they were commuting a crime to dodge taxes and liability. It will be a great day when the crummy joint gets shut down. I’ve witness them give rip-off service to their customers as well.

Great addition to Des Moines! Only moved here about a year ago, and Im sure theyve been here much longer than I have, but every time I come here, I feel welcomed and they always have what I need! They have the most friendly staff and a great selection and prices are usually on par! Love to see privately-owned establishments like this, especially when they are run so well... and Im also grateful 711 (with the mean old guy) isnt the only option in town! 👍

My favorite local everything store, off the beaten track. They have a large beer selection, breads, buns, sausages, lunch meat, numerous cheese types, sodas, wines, cigarettes, sweet treats, ice, ice cream, chips, snacks, fruits, veggies, canned soups and other canned items, necessary items like TP, paper towels, sewing items, masks, etc. Great customer service. You pay for the convenience, but worth it.

Super nice staff. Also the owner was very nice too. Extremely surprising the amount of different drinks including faygo you can find there. I didnt even try to look at the amount of alcohol they have. Just sodas teas and juices alone surprised me on the total selection. They had a good selection of different bottled waters too. I glanced around at the normal snacks and was surprised with how much they packed in such a small space. Also very outgoing employees very nice very aware and very covid aware surprisingly too. Seriously if Im in the area and need a snack or soda this would be my pic. Also the sandwich shop in the same building on the other end is amazing. They surely compliment each other. Especially someone who needs to stay low sugar or just wants to stay no sugar for drinks.

This place is awesome! They got some KILLER locally made squid jigs that work really well, along with sabiki rigs for herring and shiners. I would and do recommend those jigs often. Stop by before heading to the marina! Chee hoo!

Yun and his staff here are among the best youll do business with, ABC is kind of the like the Cheers of convenience stores. Where everyone knows your name, keep doing what youre doing Yun!!

ABC Convenience Grocery is a very sweet place . They have lots of fishing stuff if your going to the marina to go fishing . Theres lots of snacks and food there to take with you . This store is very cool I love this place . Its very close to the des moines marina . ABC Grocery has been there along time and has always been pretty sweet. What a nice store. #love

When I called they said they dont carry any fishing supplies anymore. Found this confusing but just FYI before you drive out there I guess?

Nguyen has everything! No joke, I saw someone come in, look around, finally asked, do you have a rice cooker? He reached up to a shelf and he had one to sell!

Love the people that work there they’re like family me and my mom have been going there for so long now and won’t ever stop going!! We are def lifetime customers of ABC Market owned by Yun an amazingly funny very nice guy!!:)

Literally my favorite one stop shop for everyday snacks, drinks, etc. You dont find little stores that have a super fun and friendly staff anymore. Huge breath of fresh air to say the least!

A corner stone of des moines. Yun has been located here forever. Its amazing how many people came thru the store in a hours time. Yun had a conversation with everybody and often times it was a group conversation. Its easy to see and Im entirely confident when i say everybody loves this guy. He is a huge supporter of the des moines community. He also offers an impressive beer and wine selection, likely the best in the city. Lets throw in great prices and all this is why i give this business a 5 star rating! Thanks Yun!!
