Needed my gas filled up today. Raining hard. As a person with mobility issues, I pulled up tp the pump for disabled persons (I have a permanent tag). A WONDERFUL High Schooler came out and filled up my car for me. His name is Max. His smile lit up my life, and he told me that just yesterday he made ALL-State Choir. This bit of exciting news made my day. In my younger life I was very involved in the Johnston District. This personable youngster has a bright future.

Came in expecting a hot sandwich but instead got a breakfast skillet bowl and a full order of biscuits and gravy. (Bomb). Jill was working the kitchen and offered to cook me anything I wanted multiple times. She offered the same to every customer who came in. Was very kind and had great customer service. I will definitely be returning!

The chicken strips are hit and miss and Caseys has a better selection. I go to this location for one reason and thats to interact with this cashier theyve got, Lenora. I can not stress how great this lady is. Shes hilarious, super loud (in like a fun way) and the friendliest person you could ever hope to meet.

Had the worst experience ever in all the time I’ve been coming here, every day since the day it opened a couple years ago. It will be escalated and I will never be in there again for as long as this employee works there. Still getting 5 stars because it is a great place despite that employee.

The young kids that they’ve hired need a crash course in customer service 101. The fresh/hot foods are hit and a miss for quality but after once seeing a young girl in the kitchen area playing with and shaking her hair all over the place I avoid those items at all cost. The youngsters at the checkout counters have prioritization of socialization to each other over tending to the guest. And as all Hy-Vee locations the prices are considerably high - when I visit here it’s merely out of convenience never preference.

Come here mainly for gas, and man is it relatively inexpensive to get some. Will be returning somewhere in the meantime. 👌🏾

Picked up a package labeled Wontons . Which usually means cream cheese and fake crab meat. Instead I bit into Jalepenos and Cream Cheese. Called the store manager to let him know before other people received the same thing. I spoke to the store manager and he said oh not Im sorry. Not thanks for letting me know. Nothing he could care less.HyVee is spiralling down fast.

The people making food lick there fingers. After I seen this I put my food back. I tried to talk to manager but they said he was busy in the back is there something we can do. Yeah get the manager. Unbelievable how @hyvee as gone down hill. I wish they stayed like Fareway small and personalable.

Matt needs donuts very quick, the fast and fresh does really the trick

This place is super convenient, Ive always seen them stocked with good breakfast options and lunches too (I frequent there very early in the mornings on the way to work!)

Last three times I have pumped gas at this location, there have been no window cleaning materials available anywhere close to where I was. Today, the third time, I checked all stations. There were no paper towels at any of them and only one had any fluid. Even though there was no one in line at check out when I told them, no one came out to supply them while I was there. It is a convenient location for me, but I will have to stop using it.

Enter at your own risk! No one ever wears a mask here and the store refuses to require it. Reporting to the City for violating the mandate.

This place is super convenient and has a large variety of items that you would typically need to run to the regular grocery store to pick up, all in the convenience of a corner store. The people that work there are incredibly helpful and really friendly. I love that I can get gas, Starbucks, and a few groceries all in the same stop! The selection of pre-made and freshly prepared foods offered is another definite perk, and you can call ahead to have an order ready if you want something specific or a few of a particular thing that they might not otherwise have prepared on the heating rack!! The location of this store is in a fantastic area as well, so stopping on your way to or from work is a breeze!

They cant answer the phone and rude service !!

Staff was super friendly and helpful! One staff member stopped and helped me sack my bananas. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products in the store and eager to answer questions.

I wanted to mention this stop, because I like professional people and professional environment. When I was there, I have to mentioned of professionality of working crew staff and management. Their efforts are very impressive. Thank you so much. 🙂

More than what I expected. The staff is aware of their responsibilities and they do a great job. The gas pump handles are a little tricky to figure out. Nice clean facility.

This location is more than just a gas station. They have a market counter serving fresh food, Starbucks attached, and even a beer growler station that rotates out its selection.

So awesome the store has a nice variety of products. And the coffee shop is a great addition. I really love the drive-thru option that has been added. The team seems really happy to be here. We are happy to have them here especially a gas station that carries E-85 as an option.

Its a very clean facility, with good food for a convenience store. Only place where its sane to buy gas station sushi

Very clean, very nice and friendly staff. I had issues in the past with a gentleman named Clint but I recently found out he was no longer there. I’m happy to say this will once again become a regular stop for me.

This store is so nice with all the amenities. But no one to run it properly. I dont understand how you serve drinks and food and can not keep them full or stocked. it a huge store and they dont even have Marlboro cigarettes. They have a serious management problem and staffing problem.

A brand-new, much-needed addition to the Beaverdale neighborhood! While I personally dont go here often I know a great deal of people who do. A bit pricey but they have everything you need, stop by!

Store and employees were good as usual. Did bring to store manager attention of cashier wearing same pair of gloves and that being considered cross contamination and Urbandale hyvee needs maintenance done on their power carts cause i always seem to pick the cart with problems everytime i go in!

At first I was excited to see this place pop up, I already love Hyvee and now they have this new cool hybrid store opening up near me. Unfortunately I’ll never come back here again. The customer service from the employees was great, so very friendly. It’s the management I was disappointed with. Clint was so rude to me, I just want to make it known so hopefully this can get corrected so others don’t have to experience this. If he is no longer the manager I’ll be back but otherwise I’ll be staying away for now. So sad because this place is so conveniently located near me.

Great addition to the Hy Vee line of stores. These are not just convenience stores theyre like small markets it has a little bit of everything.
