I stop at the deli first. I have to tell that the deli ladies are great. I wanted to apply for a job there but you always have one customer person to take 30 minutes to say thats too thin or thick no matter who is waiting behind you. Therefore I didnt get an application. I will still shop at your store.

I was able to find everything that I needed. They had a great selection of food items. I was very impressed by the produce department and the deli. I certainly will continue to shop at Butera.

Store always quiet. Easy in and out. Prices pretty high but definitely worth the no hassle shopping experience. There is never a wait at the checkout.

Best place to buy produce, fresh and great deals. Overall decent prices, frozen meals being the only exception. Employees are very nice and helpful.On Tuesdays Seniors get 10% off 👍

Great prices, deals, and beautiful produce! They have an awesome selection. My only complaints are that some of the packaged meat looked gray, and some of the store packaged frozen fish looked very freezer burnt.

Meat cutter no mask. Shelf stock man no mask. Employee by customer service no mask. Marianos has better respect for proper mask wearing. Three other customers no mask. When I say no mask what I mean is that its worn around their neck as a non functional decoration. Shop where you feel safe.

Always enjoy a trip here. Butera is the place to go for good prices on meat, cheese, bakery and deli. Everytime I go here I pick up 3 of the Piggly Wiggly water bottle cases. Those are a steal.

Bad customer service, workers look like they dont want to work there, and store feels dirty. They have a good selection of products but Im guessing the employees dont know how to rotate product cause I have seen lots of expired products still on the shelves.

Really good, helpful, positive staff for the large majority. Clean, well run place. Although significant amount of shopping carts really should be repaired/replaced.

This is a great place to get some a great Italian foods. They got some excellent cooking oil from Sicily there. You can enjoy the fresh fruits or you can sample something from the deli or perhaps by yourself a cake and have it for dessert tonight.

Even though they have great prices in a lot of things, dont bother to buy anything from the fish market. I made a dish for Christmas Day with some shrimps that I bought a day before and I had to throw the hole thing away. All the trouble, all the rest of the ingredients that I had to throw away!! On Christmas Day! They should be ashamed!

The checkout lines were ridicules. 0nly 2 lines open and one was 15 items or less. There were at least 6 people in each line. Also there are no baggers. The cashiers have to bag. Is Butera trying to save money?

Just about every butera and the Chicago land area has a unclean look when you walk into it I havent been to this particular one so I decided to check it out their prices are way too high on a lot of things for example their checks frozen pizzas $3.99 I could go down the street to Walmart and get the same thing for $2.50 it was a Saturday and they were out of a lot of basic things as well. I will not be going back there

Cashiers customer service was great! Unfortunately, the quality of fresh meat not so much. Please be mindful of the meat you buy when shopping at this store Chicken smelled like fish, the pork was spoiled, all meat is flipped in packaging on the appealing side. It was my first time shopping at the Des Plaines Butera and my last. People are saying they returned meat etc..... you shouldnt have to return bad meat to a grocery store. That shouldnt be the norm! The County needs to shut them down. I will be making a complaint. ASAP.

The Cashiers are nice and the store has a wide variety of products including international products. Pricing is reasonable for a number of items.

I used to like this store up until the tall scrawny fellow that seems to be a manager looks over my shoulder every time Im in the store, or ya know, half of the middle aged cashiers cant be bothered to utter a simple hello. Miserable vibe in the store all around.

Very inconsistent with there meat. Steaks are good, chicken smelled terrible. Manager did apologize and returned my money. A lot of products are expired, so make sure to look at dates. Still can’t get over that chicken though. The smell 🤮

Des Plains Butera very nice store, clean, nice employees, but I have one complaint you dont carry everything my local Butera carries, otherwise I would give you five stars. I wish my Butera looked like yours. I love Butera stores good choices in all departments, good prices, good products, good job Butera.

Moderately clean, good selection of meat in the back. For some reason they always have good deals on steaks. The deli isnt very good because they only sell a couple of national brands instead of having local meats and cheeses. They also dont smoke their own sausages, so if youre looking for Polish food this isnt your place.The cashiers are always pretty quick and Ive only had to stand in line for more than 30 seconds one time.

Great prices all around, but especially in produce & deli meats/cheeses. Deli has the best prices around. Usually Milk, eggs & many of the staples are always at great prices. Has full size in-store liquor store.

I have never said I love grocery shopping, but this Butera store might change my mind! The first thing I noticed when I walked in the door for the first visit is how friendly and helpful the staff is! The guy getting the carts, the guys stocking produce, the lady in the deli, the woman at the cash register....and even the customers were friendly! They helped me find things and cracked jokes....one customer even helped me pick out a product!!! There was good selection, great prices, and our produce all tasted very good when we got home. This is honestly one of my favorite stores for groceries!!!

This was our first and last time at this store. It was dirty, outdated, foul smelling and way too expensive. Very disappointing shopping trip. We didnt purchase 10 percent of what was on our list just to get out of there sooner. The only positive notes were that the checker was very nice and the mens room looked to be recently remodeled.

Relly good service and prize

First shopping visit. Mostly for organic produce and then walking the aisles to see what they had. Organic produce was okay. Veggie-wise the selection and prices were really nice. Fruit-wise the selection was more limited. We are vegan so some things like fish, meat and dairy I just cant comment on. But the store seemed well laid out and with a decent selection. Not much on the shelves if you buy only organic food like us. But I will definitely go back for produce.

The prices here are pretty good, but the store is not very clean. The cart area is always littered with debris. The deli counter definitely needs more help. They do have a sign that says they are hiring, but the service right now leaves a lot to be deisred.

I usually dont shop on Sunday but was amazed with the number of people at Butera. 5 checkouts were open when I left.

This is a new store, so its very clean. The stores deli is fast and prices are great! The only downside is you have a limited amount of toiletries, but good quality groceries. And, its never crowded when I go.
