This place is closing down! Great stuff is still available. Was able to get a good deal for $113 we brought home goods, as well as baby stuff. Coe and shop while you can

I continue to wonder why the store has remained open, simply because its the only non grocery big box in the city. The store would do much better, much better with a infusion of service minded and professional staff. It seems every one working here is betting on what date the store closes, almost felt my purchase insulted them as each additional purchase keeps them open moments longer.

This Kmart has reduced the number of items it keeps fully stocked on its shelves. Soft goods such as men and womens clothes as well as health and beauty aids remain fully stocked but other areas have large empty spaces on shelves or only a few odd items. If you know exactly what you want, it still is a place for good prices IF IT IS IN STOCK. I suggest you go shop with low expectations BUT you may be pleasantly surprised.

One of the few kmarts that are still open. The staff was friendly. The store is definitely dated, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I like their cash rewardprogram! Only three stars because it’s not always the cleanest inside.

This store has going-out-of-business store closing sale price promotional signs everywhere in huge letters.however every product in the store has brand new price tags on them with prices that are so inflated Kmart would never have been able to sell these products at those prices on a normal business day. For example a bottle of Gatoradeis priced at a dollar 99 with 30% off. You can get that bottle at Walmart for $0.79.tubes of toothpaste five six seven eight dollars that you wouldnt pay $2.50 four.these people are morally bankrupt taking advantage of customers who their duping into believing theyre getting a bargain when theyre actually selling things at higher prices now then they were originally.

The store is super clean and well stocked. If you ask an employee where an item is located, they walk you to it. They dont hesitate, just say here I will show you. And if check model numbers on electronic item when you shop, the specs are more up to date almost always. Once in a while I cant find whatvI want but other than that It is a good store to shop.

Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. This store is always clean and stocked. The prices are very good and the staff is always helpful.

Im only giving it two star rating because the staff was very nice but I was not impressed with the store either.....everything was too big or too small or they didnt have it at all kids screaming people running around in their pajamas and slippers if I had not received a gift card I would have never went there. Lots of terrible-looking characters of people in an out of store, one man followed me through the whole entire store that I was shopping at was very creepy.....parking lot was absolutely disgusting dirty. Ill never go back ever if I ever get another gift card Ill send it back to the person who send it to me and tell them no thanks..

We love Kmart stores but this one appears to be ready to close shop. Hardly any stock and empty shelves. If kmart is going to stay around they will have to stock the store and all the people wandering the aisles gripping about nothing in stock except clothes should give them a clue that radio shack future could be coming to Kmart sooner than later. Get with it Kmart. We sure dont need the Walmart, but would be to keep Kmart!

U ask for an exter most bestist and tgats what u get and they dont charge u higher prices like the one in rancho granda parking

This place has good deals. Got my sons and my nephews Halloween costume here at 50%off so for both of them I paid $40.00.

My biggest concern about this K-mart is lack of service. There arent enough clerks. most of the clerks they do have are nice enough and helpful.

There were some pretty good sales 10 to 50 % off. But in some depts. low on stock

The only Kmart left in the valley very well run store clean everybodys nice staff is great well-stocked.

Was told my purse was too big to carry around the store. When I asked what happens when my purse gets stolen she says Kmart would liable. Is this a new store policy? I dont recall seeing any signs that say no big purses. Maybe I was just profiled.

They do not except Kmart coupons . They do not get the concept of seasons selling almost only pants in the summer and short are put out on sale in the winter lol. We live in the desert and Ive see wetsuits in this store. Had some unpleasant meetings with employees . Older man with Johnny bravo styled hair mostly .

Its never crowded. I wish more than one checkout stand is opened when it does get a little busy.

This place is the only one of its kind for 15 miles. But customer service is terrible. Not enough checkers. Shelves are bare most of the time. Its dirty. This place is only needed if absolutely necessary, but I prefer to drive into yucca or palm springs for Walmart or target options.

Most ALL the retailers Ive patronized have had unfriendly, rude employees except for this K Mart. The folks who work there are courteous. Alternatively, the place looks as if its going out of business.

Its easier to get the Majority of what they sell online.

So nice that they still have a Little Ceasers in there. Like the old school Kmarts oh how i miss them.

Considering it is the only store of its kind in Desert Hot Springs, it is below average at best! Wouldnt have a chance if Walmart was anywhere in a 15 mile radius

Very well stocked and customer service is excellent. They helped me out when if we didnt find what I was looking for, they easily gave me instructions on how to find it online

Its not the store its the staff that is horrible. They dress horrible shirts are dirty and no name tags, hair is dirty . They have no common sense! SHAME ON you! Update 5/2019 NOW THE STAFF DISCRIMATE AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE. MGR IS INCOMPENDENT, KMART CORPIRATE IS A JOKE WAIT 30 MINUTES ONLY TO HAVE TO CALL BACK! FILING COMPLAINT WITH BBB AND CITY COUNCIL . MAYBE WALMART WILL BE BETTER IN MY TOWN!

This store is disgusting, shelves are empty and they taxed up there prices to stay open. Please just do is all a favor and close already.No needs a Kmart anymore when theres a Walmart 10 minuets straight ahead and a Target another 10 minuets straight. The whole place smells like old pizza and mold. Everything is dirty they dont even have a garden section. To many people running out from that side. Its a dreadful place and am embarrassed for all the people that work there and all the people forced to go there. There system is always down and only takes cash. Thats a little sketchy.

Horrible lady named Kathy. Hurried us to check out 15 minties prior to closing. She literally pushed us...she was using and emoty cart to lean on as she pushed itnaround the store hurring us and one other couple to the check out. She then pushed her cart into my back to keep me walking forward. 2 days later im shopping again near closing......she wrang up my items wrong which prevented me from using the coupon i wanted to use.... When i insisited in using the coupon i wanted and qualified for...she refused to use it causing her to have to re ring the item i was purchasing about 7 small items. She told me, Too bad. it too close to closing. ....as she was wearing 35 hows in her hair. What an awful woman. I will cause her hell everytime i run into her now!!

The store was less than 1/ the size it used to be. It was run down and messy. Although they had a paint department they had no paint brushes. I asked an employee if they had any tension rods or shower curtains and was told very rudely NO! Only to find them myself in an inappropriate part of the store. I paid $10.50 for a roll of blue painters tape. I wont be back!
