This branch didnt respect my time! I came in to get my prescribed medication fulfilled at 8:30. I was told it should be ready by 10:40. But when I came back at 10:50 its still not ready and had to wait another hour. My surgery was just a few hours ahead, and I had not gotten any sleep yet.

Horrible!!!! I had and appointment for COVID vaccine and they completely told us they were out Thats understandable, but why didnt they send out an email or perhaps a phone call to notify us. I drove out from Hemet because I couldnt get an appointment that fit my schedule. Better luck next time..

I was there 2 minutes before opening waiting in the drive through, after waiting 10 minutes I thought maybe the drive through was closed so I proceeded to go inside to find out the pharmacist wasn’t even there for the day yet, they told me to wait until the 15 or 20 and he should be there by then. So at 8:20 I go to get back in line at the pharmacy, only for the pharmacist to tell me I was in the wrong lane to pick up, Lane 2 is only for drop offs (there is no indication or sign showing so) so I was supposed to go to the back of the first line ( with 5 cars ahead of me) so I decided to go back inside for the second time, for the pharmacist to tell me my medication wasn’t ready. I went in to fill it on Saturday and got turned down and told to come back. I will be sending my medics to one to another location from now on. This whole experience was a joke.

Waited in line for auto fill prescription. Wasn’t ready. I was told to come back in an hour and a half. I waited 3 hours. I came back ended up waiting 30 minutes in line. They then told me it was still not ready. They told me I have to wait 20 minutes I went inside and waited another 25 minutes. Every single person that walked up to the counter was told one thing and given another when it came to timing. Very upsetting. No one‘s prescriptions were filled nearly on time.

I showed up five minutes early for my vaccine appointment scheduled for 12:12. If you count the ones outside, there may have been 100 people ahead of me.I asked if all the people had appointments. NoDo I have to wait for all of them before I can go? YesI asked well what if I reschedule for another day, will it still be like this? Yes.As of now, as a new person moving to Desert Hot Springs, I swear I will never ever, go in this Riteaid again.Not just because of the fact that they are incapable of successful scheduling, as I think they are capable of that. I wont go back because of how very disrespectful it is to make an appointment with someone and then as a matter of course make them wait an hour or two for people to go first, who do not have an appointment.Likely they do this because they believe it helps them to make more money by packing them in for vaccines. I hope the fact that I never return to this store for the next 20 years negates some of those profits.How could they even think of treating people like this?

They take hours to process medications and sometimes don’t answer the phone for hours at a time.

We were told on three different trips back and forth to the pharmacy that the prescription would be done in 45 minutes and I called and asked whats going on why cant you fill prescriptions the girl says because were doing all this covid testing so basically theyve taken on more than they can handle with the covid testing now you cant even get your prescription filled isnt that what Rite Aid Pharmacy is for filling prescriptions

This Rite Aid is in a low socioeconomic area and their pharmacy is taking advantage of the community. My daughter had her prescription filled at this pharmacy and it was 40$ yet the pharmacy at the Palm Desert Rite Aid is 15$ For the exact same prescription . When my daughter questioned it, they blamed it on our insurance and referred us back to them. Called our insurance nothing has changed and clearly after looking into it they said this pharmacy is charging nearly 3 times more than their other Rite Aid counterparts in the area.very disgraceful that this store is taking advantage of the community. We will never use them again and will tell anyone with a listen ing ear to stay clear. Booooooooooo!!!!

Nate the cashier is probably the worst person they have there. Completely rude and unprofessional. How management keeps people like that is beyond me

Sitting in the line outside waiting for pharmacy for almost an hour with 4 cars ahead is ridiculous!!

Doctor told me it would take an hour for my pharmacy to get my prescription ready. I come to this store after waiting an hour and a half. I drove in and was told to wait another ten minutes, no problem.After waiting twenty minutes, was told again that my prescription wasnt ready for me.I dont mind waiting but please honor your prescription times please so I dont end up wasting time chilling in your parking lot please. Its not professional.

Poor service. 2 hours after dropping off, when I was due to pick up, they tell me they cannot fill my order till tomorrow 🤬Sure, let me go without medicine today because you dont know how to do your job.If theyd have told me when I dropped scripts off, Id have time to go to another pharmacy

Great store. Its huge and they have a little bit of everything here.Even the Thriftys Original ice cream cone bar. (they aint a nickel a scoop any longer, though) The best selection of vitamins and supplements in town. Rasonably priced, with great sales.Great prices on beer, with killer sales and a fairly large selection.These guys are really on top of it with stocked shelves and short lines.Always friendly and helpful.They put it on the line for us during thiscurrent pandemic.The pharmacy seems to run smoothly.. I havent had a prescription filled for quite awhile. I see that they have free coronavirus testing and standard flu shots available..

Great little store!

50 people working in the pharmacy and only 1 person is being utilized for the drive thru AND to ring up customers inside. They all hate their jobs starting with the pharmacist and it shows in their attitudes and the poor excuse of service they give.

The staff is always very help, Ive seen a few customers having a bad day, but the staff stays polite and cheerful.

Everyone is very nice and helpful at the Desert Hot springs Rite Aid. Love their ice cream!

This store is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I have spent thousands of dollars here. And have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in prescriptions here and been discriminated against, treated rudely. I have been going to pharmacies for over 30 years and have never been treated so badly ever!!!

I cannot get through to them on the phone. I kept going round and round the phone menu, trying to reach the pharmacy for my poor elderly mother-in-law. I need to speak to the pharmacy personnel. CVS has it together, they answer their phones and if they cant they put you on hold in the queue and then you wait until its your turn. But you dont have to wait till hell freezes. I dont like you Rite Aid.PS--I spoke too soon, called back and got put on hold and Im still holding more than 30 minutes later. Hello? Is anybody there? Are you asleep?

To bad there arent stars that are negative.....my doctor from Illinois called in my prescription 4 days ago..it took 4days for them to refill it....I then put in for a transfer to CVS they still havent transferred it this places is terrible

Decent store but slow, unfriendly customer service

Slow, not-very-bright staff members not too interested in actually helping customers. They make mistakes when I renew several prescriptions and include items I didnt request. On several occasions Ive checked to see if everything was in stock only to find that they hadnt checked properly. A few times I checked in advance to see if all the prescriptions had been filled only to arrive there and find that they had lied.

Overall not bad compared to wallgreens when i moved out to the D
