This is such a unique store that I make a point to stop by, whenever I am in the area. Their selection of food and snacks is a personal statement that give this shop its unique personality. The interior is very well organized and interesting. There is a wide variety of treats - all of high quality.

I just called to see if they have any fennel. The guy said no and hung up on me. I’ve always received excellent service from this store in the past, but this time was just plain rude. I will continue shipping here because they have superior produce to Staters and Vons, but…

Veg & fruit taste incredible, best in the desert. They also have essentials on hand - rice, dressing, soda, etc. Shopping here makes me hungry. Must stop for vegans/vegetarians. Warm, friendly staff, I always leave with a smile and an armful of goodies.

Not only is the fruit fresh and amazing the owner is equally incredible. He was so friendly and made us feel like family, giving us gifts of extra fruit and charm. We went back a few hours later to get mangos and asked him where to go for lunch. He directed us to a place where we had the best food we’ve ever eaten, which of course makes sense as his shop would only recommend food comparable to the fruit he sells. Excellent oasis in an otherwise desolate area. Highly recommend.

Coffee, flowers, souvenirs, and other objects can be purchased from a local vendor. This is a great place to get high-quality, low-cost fruit, which we carry back to our room for later snacks. Ive been to the Farmers Market five times now, and its where I buy my gifts because you can usually haggle with the vendors for better prices. This is a spot that I highly suggest!

We spent several months at Sam’s RV Resort just outside Desert Hot Springs this winter. We looked forward to getting our fruits and vegetables from the Farmer in the Dale’s roadside stand on Dillon Rd. They always had a great selection and their prices were very reasonable. The customer service was consistently excellent.

Rich is a super nice guy and guess what? He has a super nice shop as well! If you in the area and in need of fresh produce and some refreshments Im recommending Farmer in the dale produce!

Stoped by for fresh dates they had from 5 days ago. They had so much fresh produce for a store in middle of the dessert. The store attendant was super nice and attentive. They also have Mexican chips and sugar drinks.

My favorite little local grocery store on Pierson. Has produce and some refrigerated items. Also has regular and organic dates. The eggs were local and same with various produce. And the owner and workers all nice and small town service like the old days.

Love this place and their warm hospitality! ❤😁 Not only are they reasonably priced, but they carry a good variety of organic and non organic produce. I appreciate that they also carry raw nuts. I purchased a box of white peaches for $1 off their sale rack. Best time to go is late afternoon on Friday when the new shipment comes in.

We stopped in Pam Desert for a few supplies and decided to go in Farmer in the Dale as we were walking by. What a gem of a place this is! Lots of fresh produce to choose from and several fruits we have never heard of but decided to buy (we already tried the new fruits and they didnt disappoint). The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Prices were clearly marked. The store was clean. They even have cold bottles of sodas along with other refrigerated items. We will definitely be back whenever we are in the area. Support this local spot!

Discovered this market recently after moving and really appreciated having a local clientele small business feel fresh and quality produce market so close. Lots of organics, quality and friendly knowledgeable service people to help with Qs.

A diamond in the ruff, they sell wonderful variety of imperfect, irregular shaped and older produce in some cases. Also lots of Mexican, Central American & South American fruits and produce. Rustic warehouse style, they take credit cards for a fee but bring cash. It wont cost you a lot of money here. Check out the $1 bags and great prices on avocados. A few other grocery items and Mexican candy too. Enjoy

Love this place! This small ma and pa shop is a hidden gem carrying fresh fruit, sodas in glass bottles, and delicious local dates. The owner is a super friendly guy and always greets you at the door. A must if youre in DHS👌👌
