Vons is always such a great experience. So much high-quality products and a wide variety. The atmosphere is also really nice. Not too pricey either.

I love their salads from the deli section. They have good selections and their pastries are delicious.

We took a trip to Vons to pick up Ben & Jerrys Vanilla Ice Cream. This particular Vons Is one of the very few stores that carries it.

Picked up a whole chicken for lunch. It was hot and delicious. Speedy checkout service. Theyre my go to supermarket.

Checkout girls super nice, waited to mins at the meat counter just to finally be told they cant ground pork for me.

VONS is my local grocery stores. Some of your Cashiers needs to have a bit of a personality. When someone says hello to you the nice and polite thing to do is say hello back. Not ignore people that is just rude. Be happy and thankful that you have a job.

The grocery store itself is nice, nothing fancy its clean and well stocked. However they should really teach the young cashiers how to be pleasant and at least say hello. None of us liked to work when we were younger but if you strike up a conversation it makes the time go faster. When the masks come off I hope they remember how to smile lol...

Do yourself a favor. The deli sandwiches are amazing. Socorro Coco made my last sandwich. It was like I went behind the counter and made it myself. The meat and cheese portions are ridiculously large, lol. They slice whole chicken breast with a knife Infront of you. The quality of ingredients is through the roof. The veggies are fresh, the breads are amazing and sandwiches are a treat.Ive been getting the chicken artichoke and turkey bacon avocado lately. Im a big guy and some of these Sandwiches are hard to eat half. Coco, especially wraps them well, perfect to eat the other half for dinner. I highly recommend with some fresh wedges and this bacon, blue cheese potato salad they have.Subway doesnt hold a candle. Extra toasted, more onions, melty cheese, artichoke hearts, whatever, theyre happy to make your custom sandwich just like you would. Your 6th or 7th sandwich is free, Ill probably stop in this weekend for mine.

We visited about 2 weeks ago and are from out of town . We stopped by thus location to buy snacks and drinks for our little vacation weekend.It was super busy and the manager took notice to my boyfriend looking around to ask a question and she quickly responded. She explained the process to obtain alcohol and while we were looking around I took notice she was able to still assist other members and employees in the meantime. I am a Service manager and I took notice of how efficiently she was handling things.She also personally assisted us and we chatted about our visit and she was so helpful and sweet. Very impressed with the service we experienced.

Vons does a great job. Unfortunately our local Vons has a problem that has made the experience of shopping rather less than the best; shelves are empty of standard goods a lot of the time. And it is just this Desert Hot Springs store that exhibits this problem, as every other store in our region seems to be much better stocked any time of the week that we shop. This has been brought to the attention of Management over the years with no improvement. Otherwise the staff does a great job.

Weve shopped at this store exclusively since moving here 5.5 yrs ago. We know most of the employees and managers on a first name basis and feel like family when we visit. They always take very good care of us. Everyone is super friendly. We enjoy chatting and asking how theyre doing and they ask how were doing. Its the best small town experience you can get from a big box grocery store. We cant imagine shopping anywhere else.

Vons has good hours and everything we needed for our trip. Nice selection of fruit, cereals, frozen entrees and frozen ice cream. It had everything else, we were just concentrated on what we could prepare in our hotel room. They had it all.

This was not the normal Vons I go to in my neighborhood. It was easy to find my items. Everyone was nice.

Called an hour in advance to the deli dept. to order a sandwich. I show up and let them know Im there for a order pick. Every ones is confused as to what Im there to pick up. Then a gentlemen pops out from the side and picks up my order written on some paper and say i forgot to tell you guys. they offered to make it, the only problem is I only have a 30 minute lunch break. they dont have a sense of urgency there I have timed them before it takes them 25 minutes. I understand it can get busy or they are tired but thats why I called ahead of time. you cant really order the deli sandwiches online.

I shop here every day.I took my cart back from a long distance away. I always take my cart back!!! I went in to get a few wipes for my hands and car handle. The security guard said Wow, not so many wipes. I said We are in a pandemic. He said Never mind It was very upsetting. I tried to talk to a manager but no manager was there. Someones car was probably being robbed while I was being shaken down for some extra wipes. Get it together Vons!!!

Vons is an awesome store its always clean and they always have Checkers dads are pretty fast also they have a pharmacy there so you can get everything all at once

I am a Vons Safeway shopper. Always find what I need and, unlike Walmart or Staters, checkout goes quickly even when you dont use self checkout. Larger selections at Walmart but checkout sucks.

Loved that store!! Bought salmon from Norway . Best salmon we have ever eaten.Went back and bought 7 lbs to put in our freezer. The staff in the fish station were awesome!!

That cashier who helped me out was efficient. She was not pleasant she was not helpful when I dropped my credit card on the floor, she didnt smile or have a pleasant word. She did ring me up and asked if I wanted bags, though I couldnt really hear what she said maybe because of the Mask. I have to ask her what she said three times before I could hear what she said and I think that might be a clue that she needed to either speak louder or articulate a little better. So in summation, she was efficient but bordered on extremely rude and I felt quite distressed as I walked out of the store. For added information this was the monitor that was on the self-checking section in the Vons store in Desert Hot Springs. I had two items which were marked 50% off and therefore apparently she needed to ring up the entire cart.

Vons is even more outrageously over priced than Stater Bros. Low income people, and SSI Recipients might as well completely forget about eating a nice juicy piece of steak again, and just hope, and pray they get an invitation to a bar-b-que, or to dinner at Outback Steak House. In the mean time that your being forced into transition to becoming a Vegetarian. Its a total disappointment that with all the money they make, they cant take into consideration the Poverty Stricken People. Vons inconsideration, and Greed will definitely shine ever so bright, when you are forced to have to hire, and pay dearly for extra Theft Detection Security Officers. when your Theft Crime Rate blows through your roof.

Due to the pandemic we are to mask up before entering the store, ok no problem but at the bakery section they dont sell fresh donuts anymore and if they do they are bagged in individual baggies ok no problem, but what about the French bread why dont they cover that up they are open from the top Gross makes no sense to me. SMH!!! Like really!!! Cover that up as well or does French bread not able to get contaminated???

I only go to vons for one reason.. The customer service! I have a favorite cashier and a favorite bagger and they welcome me when I come in.. Even with a mask on.. They still know who I am! Love them!

I have to say that the management there is not so great, I believe his name is Matt, and is so rude, not only to his employees but also to customers. How can you be a manager in customer service and your service to customers stinks! I remember a supervisor by the name of Dorothy, she was the most professional and sweetest person. She always spoke to her employees with respect. Shes now relocated to yucca, theyre lucky to have her.

Id say its a pretty good place to go shopping for some groceries.

The Vons in Desert Hot Spring all right quick, courteous and expedient service. They adhere to all covid-19 regulations with one line and proper social distancing that is directed by an associate so it is quick and efficient for the client. The staff here really is the best, they care they provide very personalized service. Take advantage of the specials every week by downloading the coupons on to their app and you ready to go at checkout.

Self checkout is a joke. Always requires them to clear the screen. The manager, Joanna?, is rude and to busy doing other things rather than paying attention to the customer. Store is poorly stocked. Customer service is terrible.

They only allow service dogs in-store. Otherwise, you have to carry your dog, which I was more than happy to do because I love my dog so much.
