My basement flooded and I needed someone to check my furnace. It is so hard to find quality companies who are willing to work in Detroit. Rick came out and did his best to get it working but too many parts had been under water. They came out today to replace it. David, Paul and Jason were on time. Very professional. Cleaned up after themselves. Went above and beyond! Great business located in Detroit.

First let me say that Jon was very good at point of sales (explained every detail)he made it an easy choice to choose National for our new furnace .AJ and Sam came to our home (on time) cleaned up everything, explained every detail of our new furnace,air purifiers(I asked lots of questions)Sam and AJ both were very courteous and kind .I will definitely give National a reference because of the staff that came into my home

Very happy with how fast they were able to come take a look and fix the issue I was having with my AC unit. Rick was courteous and very professional. He answered all of my questions. I’ll be using this company in the future for sure!

I needed to have them inspect my central air to find what was wrong with it. A young man came out hooked the gages up told me the high side was over charged (no one has worked on it since it was installed) he checked the fuses then told me i dont know whats wrong with it but you need a new unit then he charged me $100.00 and said a sailsman would be in touch with me... needless to say Im not very happy with them. If I could give them less than 1 star I wouldI would like to extend my sincerest apologies to the people at National heating and cooling. I gave you a bad review and you didnt do the inspection at my house. I do wish that you were the crew that did the inspection simply because of the reviews that I have read about your quality and professionalism.

Called to get a quote to have work done on my building, and wouldn’t come for a QUOTE because I didn’t own the building but had all access to it. Wanted me to wait till we did our closing. But if I didn’t disclose that information he wouldn’t have know. Would never bother to try to use them again. Seemed like he had no idea what he was talking about, since I’ve had multiple people come out for quotes for different things. This is the first time I post review because I must do this for National H&C inc. Matt and Earnie are great persons and very professional! They did great jobs with reasonable price. Two years labor warranty comes with their jobs and 10 years parts warranty from the manufacturer. I highly recommend National H&C inc if you have troubles with your AC.

My furnace was making a loud rattling noise. After reading the other reviews on here, I called National. They were able to get someone out the next day. The repair man was very nice, arrived early, figured out the problem, ( warped fan), went and got the part, and now it’s back to running like normal again. I will most definitely call them again if I need heating/cooling repairs, and would recommend them to anyone I know that needs hearing/cooling work done!

I cant say enough good things about my experience with National Heating and Cooling. My wife and I had our AC unit break during a massive heat wave and were scrambling to get it fixed. We called National and they had a tech out within a day. Their tech was extremely professional and helped diagnose our problem. The Freon line was busted so we needed a new AC unit. National gave us many options that would fit within our budget and get what we were looking for.Ernie and crew arrived a day or two later and installed our brand new unit. During the installation process the crew was clean, professional, and very considerate while my three kids were running around. The new unit has been nothing but a blessing since its install! I would and have recommended National Heating and Cooling to anyone in need!

I needed an old short hot water heater replaced. An error not due to Paul had tall one. He called office & made all necessary adjustments to install the tall one at no additonal cost from original price quoted!! Paul and his partner did an excellent job, were professional, and Paul reviewed how the heater opertates. They provided great customer service👍😊Ms. C. The service was excellent and professional from beginning to end. I spoke to Adam and John on the phone and both were very pleasant and courteous. Matt came out to service my air conditioner and he was very knowledgeable and patient. Thank God for National. For two seasons, I had issues with my furnace-countless techs from various companies couldnt resolve it. National diagnosed, fixed it, its been working great ever since! Thank God! Ernie, the service manager is highly skilled and knowledgeable. Great customer service at the office and the field. Cant say enough good things about National. Yes, I recommend National.

5.0 star rating 8/7/2016Im very thankful that I found National Heating and Cooling. They were able to quote me and install a new air conditioning during the busiest time of the year. Each staff member I interacted with was extremely pleasant and paid a lot of attention to detail. A day after the install I realized that I needed to secure my air conditioner so it wouldnt get stolen. I gave National Heating and Cooling a quick call and the next day they had installed a theft-proof retainer.They are timely, always show up, and do a phenomenal job. Shout out to Fred for being especially awesome!

I had a new furnace installed yesterday and Im very pleased with the service. Paul and I didnt get his partners name were on time, very professional, and respectful from beginning to the end. Thankful for the Quality furnace and Quality workers, my dog who likes no one even liked them and that says a lot to me, Lol. Very pleased customer, and if future repairs/maintence are needed I will only call this company! ThankYou!

I called for service on a Friday afternoon, was put on a waitlist for Saturday, and my service call was done Saturday morning! Matt, the technician, completed my repair, replaced a part, and educated me a little on the unit. He was super fast, professional, and kind of cute. I will definitely use this company again.

In my opinion, this is the hidden gem in metro Detroit when it comes to furnace and air conditioning. Over the last 10 years, I have worked with several big name companies including those frequent on radio ads. None of them come close to National heating & cooling in terms of excellent customer service at reasonable prices. The folks here are just honest and hard working people and we really need more people like them in this area.

Andrew was prompt, professional, proficient and honest. Thank goodness! I dont like reviewing online. But National Heating (and Andrew) deserves this one.

Be aware that these guys don’t do rooftop condenser service. Apparently they just cherry pick the easy jobs.
