I used to love this beauty supply store but I had a negative experience the other day. I was shopping and overheard an irate customer complaining about being followed in the store by one of the employees. The woman did not curse or yell at the employee but respectfully stated how she did not appreciate being treated as if she was about to steal, then she paid and left. What upset me was the conversation the employees had after she left. One woman said “Why would you be upset about someone following you in the store? What’s the big deal if you’re not going to steal.” Another employee said “We have to do that because we don’t know who’s going to steal or not.” The first woman then said “See, that just means she was guilty and going to steal.” To the store owners: A person not wanting to be followed around in a store does not mean that they are guilty of thievery. It means that they don’t want to be treated like suspects because they are black. And yes, that is the reason you do it. It’s called racial profiling. I also own a business and as a business owner you understand that you will be taking on certain risk. For you guys people stealing is one of those risk but you guys receive way too much money from African Americans to treat each one of them like a criminal and follow them around the store. Not only that but if you’re going to do that at least provide exceptional customer service, smile and ask if there’s anything you can help out with. Don’t just follow around silently because that’s also just creepy. I probably will not be going back to this store after this experience and that’s sad because it is one of the better beauty supplies. Please try to provide a more welcoming atmosphere.

Good selection of beauty items, but could use a better selection of wigs. Also its a little clutter so finding certain items can be hard at times.

A small place with not much to offer. They need to get yheir wig game up. But its an ok place

Does music stores right by my house its really nice and convenient have not ever anything I needed. 😎
