I see a lot of disgruntled comments about the staff following customers around, blacks primarily, as though they’re untrustworthy thieves! I was there recently, and while I walked up and down the isles, no one followed me, at least I did not notice. So, having said that, they heard you. To my surprise I honestly felt normal, like a trusted and non-harassed happy shopper. I actually chatted and laughed with the owner, the older one who’s always behind the cash register. But, that’s just the kind of vibe I give and receive most places I go. I gave a 3 star because they’re prices are ridiculously high.Wise advice: Look at the items prices, then ask yourself why should I spend this much money when I can get the same items cheaper from the DOLLAR TREE! Right down the street.YOU’RE WELCOME! Now, you can send me that saved money if it’s burning holes in your pockets. 8-)

Great location with lots of great products. However, the staff (majority Asian) will follow a black person around like they are stealing something. My partner and I were out of town visitors and the man inside followed us around constantly while we looked at products in a respectful manner. Furthermore, after reading numerous reviews, I can understand that I am not the only person who was treated this way. In addition, it is hard for me to understand that majority of the time, we are treated like crooks in beauty supply stores. Because if it wasnt for African-American people spending their hard-earned money to purchase beauty products then these stores would not even exist. What is even harder for me to understand is the fact that more women are not speaking up on this review platform. Maybe theyre just desensitized to it and no longer notice or care about the treatment they receive in these establishments..

Very clean, bright and spacious. Variety of brands is great! Very good selection of hair both human and synthetic. Hair care product lines are great, to include men and children. Unlike many other locations with same name, not many variations of prices on the wings however the selection is decent

Pricey but good beauty supply

Was in the store recently and did not appreciate being treated like I was stealing. Clearly I’m on camera and yet someone still felt it necessary to come over to where I was—just to observe me. Not once did she offer assistance or ask me if I was finding everything I needed. Just looked at me in silence. Further, all I was offered was a hello when I entered the store and that was barely audible. No one thanked me for making a purchase or for stopping in or for choosing their store. I’m not entitled, just aware of buying power. Beauty supply stores come a dime a dozen plus you have online suppliers. So stock AND customer service will set you apart. For what I typically buy, they have in stock but I will make the effort to go elsewhere. I did call back and speak to the older man who is always in the store. His excuse was that the staff who followed me was “new.” No, sir, she was trained to do that. Let me remind you—no customers, no business. So when your customers get tired of being alienated and STOP coming in, what are you going to do then? To the polite staff who work the registers, thank you and I hope you take your skills where they are appreciated. I couldn’t work where I had managers/coworkers/owners who congregated in a cluster away from me, speaking and not including me in conversations. Anyone who’s had a similar experience, I encourage you in joining me in taking your money elsewhere. And to Lee Beauty—do better. You get to open your doors because of the customers. And it’s time the customers start recognizing that we have the power and don’t have to put up with such discriminatory practices.

Lady had a beauty emergency prior to a photoshoot. Not only was the sweet representative helpful in finding the correct product, but she helped fix the issue. She was genuinely amazing, we both recommend this location wholeheartedly!

Staff member Ann has always assisted me wuth my need, wants, purcgases and asked alk my questions in a friendly mannor. Im sadden that you are closed everyday. I wish you decied ti open a few hours a day at least ...even on certain days. I will check for your schedule Thank you!

Wide selection of beauty products from wigs to makeup primer and much more. The staff is consistently helpful and kind. Prices are reasonable for the convenience although a bit higher than neighboring competitors. This location is my go-to.

Lee Beauty supply is a bad place to shop at. There stuff is way over price. I bought two lip gloss and some edge control it came up to 7.46 and everybody knows that lip gloss coast one dollar so. Why is lip gloss two something.

I went to this store today and the cashier African American woman with light colored eyes and short haircut tried to cheat me out of my money. Its sad how people try to rip you off. When I called her on it and let her know how much the braiding hair was she was quick to ring everything up again to the price it was suppose to be. She got caught and was embarrassed when I was trying to be nice that she would not respond.

Went in to buy a wig. The rudest old lady totally disregarded my questions and my mere presence. She then walked off and left me by myself. Then she finally comes back and said which one are you looking for her. I told her she said she didnt have it I said goodbye. Was prepared to spend up to 40 or $50 in there but hey somebody elses get the money. Ill buy online from a different company instead.
